Great place for a hugeeee burrito -- I got the Cali burrito (w/ Carnitas, their recommendation) and added avocado (ironically not included in a cali burrito). The wait was definitely a little long (10-15 mins) even though they weren't that busy. The carnitas itself was kinda dry, but the combination of flavors made it very enjoyable. Overall, it's decent but nothing remarkable. The salsa on the side is great though -- it really elevates the whole burrito. My main gripe is the pricing. Add-ons like guac make the price climb fast, and for a California burrito, it's odd that guac isn't already included. The food comes out quickly, but I'd recommend getting it to go unless you're fine with perching on a stool. It's definitely not a spot for groups since you won't be able to sit facing each other. Food arrived cold (pro-tip, turn on the oven while it's in transit so that if you do need to warm it up, it's a little faster!). The guac was just okay. This is a must try I feel. The food was so good I wish I had this in my home state. This was a cool hipster take on Mexican food. I got the bowl and added carnitas and ranchero shrimp. If I ate it alone, one burrito would be two meals for me. I love that there were crispy french fries inside the burrito. The Hot Rod burrito was a tad bit too salty, but that was due to the bacon. I enjoyed the chorizo one more. I usually do not like beans in the burrito, but I did not mind it at all in these burritos, it was good. The eggs were perfectly cooked with an oozy/jammy yolk. The filling and flavors blended well together. In my area, there aren't TexMex breakfast burritos so I really enjoyed my food at Electric Burrito. To start, I'm from Southern California and I grew up with dozens of excellent California burritos right next to my house. That being said, I've been looking for a good burrito in the city for a while now and after trying Electric Burrito (a top recommendation from many), I'm still looking. We tried the standard California burrito, the mushroom burrito, and the fries. The burritos were not that flavorful, the steak was overcooked, the tortillas were okay, the fries were like McDonald's fries (not my preference for inside burritos - typically you get a thick fry), and had unmelted cheese inside. The sauce was a chipotle sauce which wasn't bad but it could have had more flavor. The service was good though! The workers are very friendly and helpful and make the experience nice so I did appreciate that. read more

It's a tiny shop on the end of St Mark's Place and seems like they alway have a crowd. I got their signature California Burrito w Carne Asada ($14).
