I just wanted to take the time to give Kenny a shoutout and major kudos. I went to him about to a week ago explaining to him I wanted a tattoo of my dog. I sent him a few pics and set up an appointment for a week later. Fast forward to today he did a wonderful job!!! He listen to my idea when I wanted to change the color of the flower and I can get over how much the tattoo looks like my dog. His station was clean, he worked quickly and honestly a lot less painful then I have experienced with other artist at different shops. He played killer music the whole time that allowed me to zen out and I can't say enough good things about my experience here today I would give him ten stars if I could. My husband and I were in San Diego for a weekend getaway. We have been working on getting a sleeve done and we try to get a tattoo done when we travel. I search tattoo parlors and then read the bios of the artists and look at their portfolios. Our sleeves are American traditional and so I was drawn to Sal's work right away, but what really sold us was his mention of RuPaul in his bio. We brought in a design that we wanted and Sal tweaked it to make it his own. He was professional and personal and had a great touch tattooing. Brittany is fantastic. The other artists at the shop are just as great. For my second time going to Brittany she sketched up a custom design for my collar bones. The three other artists there all took the time to make sure the two stencils were lined up correctly and evenly. Between the four sets of eyes, Brittany reset the stencils several times. I really appreciated all of them being there and caring that my tattoos came out perfectly. Which they did. I get compliments all the time. I'm shocked this place has very few reviews. It's amazing, the service it great, and the tattoos are even better. I found Brittany online when searching for an artist who does good watercolor style tattoos. I contacted her and she immediately got back to me. We quickly made and appointment and my roommate and I drove 6 hours there just to see Brittany. It was more than worth the drive. My friend from San Diego came with as well and the experience was wonderful. The tattoo parlor is extremely clean, well-lit, and inviting. We were all allowed to sit in the work area and they even let my roommate eat her sandwich behind the front desk. My tattoo looks perfect! Brittany did the watercoloring by hand (I had complete faith in her abilities--just check out her instagram to see all the wonderful stuff she has done freehand). The price was good - $100 minimum and a rate of $150 per hour. So satisfied with the whole experience. I would 1100% go back again and would certainly recommend it to a friend. read more
