Found my new favorite spot for pedicures! I was in dire need of a pedicure and turned to my Yelp app for help. Found this so close to me and I called, so happy they took me in at the very last second. Everyone in here is friendly and the owner has an awesome attitude. I got to watch tv and relax. For only $12, take yourself over to Vallarta and grab yourself an horchata. Come here and relax! $12 pedicure and make sure to add the callus removal for only $5 more! Thank you! I came here for a polish change with my sister. We had appointments and were a little late due to traffic however we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Kim told us it would be ten minutes and we waited double the time. Parking is tough here. There is a parking lot behind the shopping center which is helpful. If you just go in for a polish change it is worth the price! I highly recommend Sophie she is a sweetheart and works very hard! I will be back and request her again! Came here for a gel mani & regular pedi. I usually stick to my 2 nail salons but both were booked and I'm not an appointment kind of girl. I came here only once and I really liked it. I typically have very long nails so I like doing gel on my natural nails. However, its extremely difficult to take out gel polish from really long nails. Usually they break. I told my technician I wanted to save my nails and she soaked it in nail polish remover solution 3 times in order to preserve my nails. I also showed her a flower design I wanted and she only charged my $5. My pictures don't do it justice but I was extremely satisfied with my manicure. If I come back I'll only go to her. My pedicure was ok but my design wasn't as cute. It was silver nail polish and my pedicure technician decided to draw red flowers with white accents. The white didn't show through and it ended up looking weird. They accept credit card but charge a fee. I forgot if it was 25 cent or $1. Parking is terrible here. People do not know how to park. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. I really like the work they did! It was fast and the ladies were very nice. The location isn't the best, especially when it comes down to parking. They used a bin of water for the pedicure, instead of the actual massage chairs (I think they were out of order). Overall though, I had a good experience and the photo attached is a few days after my manicure. 4/5 would recommend read more

Great experience overall! If you're looking for an inexpensive, efficient place to get your nails done this is a great option! You need to go in with the right expectations though, because if you want fast, cheap, and good service this is your place. If you're looking for a big, fancy, glamorous, high end spa experience though, this isn't that. I got a gel manicure+regular pedicure deal for $33. Have never seen such a good price before! It's a small nail salon inside, and there are lots of staff who are very kind. I had 2 people working on me, nails and pedi at the same time, which for some can be a little much, since you're getting different instructions at once, but for me it was so time efficient! I was done in 30 mins!! Included filing, color, lotion, warm water dip (mine was in a little plastic tub since the pedicure chairs were taken), cuticle gel, and a brief hand/foot massage at the end. They had lots of color options as well. Wait time was not bad at all, since they're very quick and time efficient. I was a walk in at 5pm on a week day, and just got lucky, with 0 wait at all. Shortly after though there were multiple other people who came in, some with appointments and some not. Not sure how much time making an appointment would save you though, because if you're late to your appointment, they will just move on to the next walk in. Seemed like the wait would have been no longer than 30min though. Overall for this price and efficient service, I don't think it can be beat. Will certainly be back! read more

What horrible service. Yes the prices are low, and they do an okay job but service is crap. 1) First of all, when I came in for a mani/pedi, I had to wait a half hour. 2) Then, the girl doing my manicure did a horrible job filing my nails. I had to ask her if I can file my own nails because she kept making them uneven. 3) I got no hand or leg massage like most nail salons give. 4) While doing my pedicure, the lady missed half my nail on my little toe and there was some type of white residue on my big toe. I asked them to redo it. 5) While redoing, they forgot to reapply base code and top code. Had to remind them. 6) Once done, they didn't offer to put my flip flops on me....I had to do it myself while trying to be careful not to ruin my manicure. I will not be coming here again. read more

I have gotten my nails (manicure and pedicure) here several times. The only pro here is the price. $10 regular manicure and $12 pedicure. The cons list is way more than the pro. It's dirty and unkept. They need to vacuum the floors, replace the chairs and sofa the customers sit on. They do well in terms of how many clients they see so buying clean chair and a sofa is not excessive. Simple cleanliness is a must and not related to spending money. The nail polishes are good brands. However they are really old and you can tell because the manicure stays good for a few days and it begins to chip or crack. The colors are also very limited. The owner/lady who picks up the phone is rude and really loud in the salon. Have a conversation with your staff, but no need to yell across the room. I go to the same lady all the time. I won't mention her name. She has potential to do a good job but she is more interested in having a high turnover rate so she can service the next client to make money. Remember nail techs get paid per customer. She has occasionally cut one nail shorter than the other, missed a spot to paint or hasn't shaped all the nails the same. She does take direction and doesn't give you attitude like other nail techs. But I just want to sit back and have a good job done without having to correct someone. At times, I've seen her and the other girls start doing a manicure while a customer is sitting on the sofa. No table, no towel and not comfortable. The other day when I got a pedicure, a towel wasn't placed on the floor for my feet so I had to keep it up until it dried. I won't be going back here. I rather spend more money to have my manicure/pedicure last with better service, quality and cleanliness. read more

I usually go to Ciel Nail in Northridge or The Nail Luxury in Valencia. Ciel had no openings that day, and I wasn't in the area to get them done by Steven in Valencia, so I resorted to Yelp and found this little hole in the wall salon. My first experience here was pretty good. I called a few minutes prior to my arrival, and they were really accommodating. I arrived 20 minutes later and Kathy got to work, soaking my nails in acetone to remove my old gels. Mind you, this is not a fancy-schmancy nail salon. I'm actually not even sure if their massage chairs work, BUT I will say that they produce GREAT QUALITY WORK at a SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER RATE than other shops in the area. They charge $25 for a gel mani, and $12 for a regular pedi; however, if you get a combination gel mani and regular pedi, they only charge $33 for both! I was floored when Kathy finished my mani and Viviana finished my pedi; they both produced amazing work for such a great price. I grow my nails long and am very particular about the way I shape them (narrow and squared). Kathy immediately knew that I was going for that coffin shape, and did such a fantastic job at shaping and applying the gel polish. Also, what I notice about other salons when I get manicures elsewhere is that they tend to not polish close to the cuticle, perhaps so clients get their nails done more often. That's not the case here though. Even though my nails have grown during the past 5 days, the work still looks recent and the gelish polish is uncracked and unchipped. It's a shame that I'm moving soon, otherwise I would have made this place my permanent nail spot. Note: Parking is in a very small shopping center. I love this place! I came across this gem about a year ago. I get really creative with my nails and this was the only place up for the challenge. I bring in my own nail polishes, studs, gems and accessories and they're always willing to bring my vision to life. Mind you, the day I came across this place I was rejected by 15 other shops that refused to attempt. They do anything from the basics to now carrying different color acrylic powder, gels, caviar and rhinestones. There are also two women that are excellent at drawing on nails. When people walk in they know each manicurist by name and that shows how loyal their customers are. P.s If you want to see their special glitters and colored acrylic, you have to ask for it specifically. If you're going to get funky and creative don't forget to give them a big tip because that's very time consuming. read more

Meh. Not horrible but i don't think i will come back. i normally get pedicures at color nails, i love them. But i wantdd to get acrylics so i wanted to see if there were any better places in the area for that. I wanted the very pink glitter acrylics with white tip and saw a review here about all the glitter options they had...which after going there i now know they dont. I made a 4:30 appointment and waited until 4:50 to be seated, which really bothered me. If they were running late they should have told me, not kept me waiting and saying just a few minutes. I wouldnt have cared about 5 minutes late, but 20 is just too much. the place was full of women with their kids and in an area of reseda that seemed to be a little more run down than i would have expected. A lot of people lingering outside and the parking was horrible. This was probably why the prices were so reasonable. I dont know his name but a man worked on my nails. I showed him a picture of what i wanted and he said to me he could do whatever i wanted. They ended up not even being close to the pink i wanted and instead of putting glitter in the powder like every other place i have been to, he simply put glitter polish ocer the acrylics after they were done, which is pointless because it will chip long before the acrylics are done and i will end up putting new glitter polish on myself. I would MAYBE go there again if i couldnt find anywhere else, but i would make sure to make an appointment for a time when they arent going to be busy and make me wait around. one nail however after two days already seems to be having some issues in the cuticle area, so i will have to see how long these hold up. I think in the future i would rather pay an extra $10 somewhere to get what i really want. These were $25 and i gave him a $5/20% tip, which now i realize i shouldn't have. Everyone there was very friendly, i will give them that. But they shouldn't have told me they could do what i asked for if they couldnt, i would understand if i didnt have a picture but i literally showed him a picture of what i wanted and was told no problem. I get the feeling they are better with gel and had a decent gel selection, so maybe i would try the gel here, but not the acrylics. Also, a few times peope would be smoking outside and the smoke would come through the open door which really bothered me. I expected they would go outside and say something or shut the door. Many women were also talking very loudly on their cell phones which i always find extemely rude to do in a salon where people are trying to relax. Overall, if you just want some cheap decent nails with some friendly people, come here. But if you are looking for a relaxing environment or anything beyond ordinary, dont come here. read more

They're decent for the price. I got acrylic gel nails. The shape was coffin, and length was somewhat short. Plus the gel pedicure for only $60 for everything. Peter is the best one that does nails but even he still doesn't make them look great. They look bumpy on the edges, uneven, clumps of acrylic on the sides, & they don't make them look like a fresh set. They look about 1 week old since they don't apply the product close to your cuticle. They apply it far enough where you can still see the original nail. It's pretty rare that I get my nails done and I'm glad a took a chance on this place. The only downers are that they don't have the fancy chair where you can sit nice and comfortably. This nail salon does not sterilize their instruments. When I asked, they said they will pour alcohol. Makes me question their cleanliness on everything else. She made a suggestion to bring my own tools. Fine,I will. Considering that this is a nail salon they can't expect every customer to bring their own polish/instruments and MUST consider infection/ fungus prevention. They worked on me in between customers and never washed their hands or used gloves. They are very friendly, and efficient. Prices are good. Parking is bad. Cleanliness is bad. This place is not fancy at all. It's crowded and a bit crammed. If you want the fancy deal this isn't the place for you. I got there 10 minutes before I made my appointment, but I got started at 6, which is super awesome! I had my nails done by Peter. He is super sweet and gentle. I wanted a fancy design but he said he couldn't do it. I was more focused on the quality of nails, so I gave it a shot. It was $35 for a full set with gel. I'm very happy. I have been going to this place for over a year now . My friends suggested me Cathy . She was fine for the first two times and then started doing horrible job. I had to stop going there for a while but the location is convenient to me and especially Sophie who does my toes. Cathy felt i was not going to her and once i went back she did a normal job for another two times and then started messing up again. My two other friends quit on her months ago . Cathy can't shape properly that's the first thing. 9 out of 10 nails always have different shapes . I do acrylic and the gel on top .And unfortunately no one else does it besides Cathy in their salon. Cathy always smiles but once you ask her to fix something she changes her mood immediately and becomes passive aggressive and start talking Vietnamese to others for sure complaining abt it. I needed both of those for summer and today was the perfect time.
