The place is on the second level of a retail/office building, with ample parking. There are numerous comfortably appointed rooms, with nice soft massage tables and a clean fresh feel. I especially like that the tables have electric warmers, so the rooms are warm and comfy. The music is soft and gentle, and the rooms are quiet. April is my go-to masseuse, and I'm very happy to recommend her. I usually get the 100 minute massage that includes hot stones, which are terrific. I require a firm massage, and April more than meets my needs. I especially like her back walk work, which always yields cracks in strategic locations in my back. I think this place is decent and has very affordable massages. My husband booked this place as a birthday treat but non-rmt (registered massage therapist) are not for me. I am very used to the rmt protocole. When I got in the room the bed did not have a cover sheet, only 1 sheet to cover the bed, the massage therapist tried to speak to me in mandarin when I told her I only spoke cantonese (and laughed when I didn't respond), and even though the room is private, she was not always covering me up when working which made me feel exposed and also cold. If you are familiar with the RMT protocol, you are always covered. In short, this is one discount massage spa among others and I think it is decent and clean. If you just want a good deal on a decent massage then go, by all means this will do the job. But if you are like me and you are used to registered massage therapist and their professional protocols, this will not be for you. read more

i've been coming here for almost 5 years now and all of their staff are very nice and good EXCEPT ANNA. I've always had a pleasant experience here every after massage except today. I have gotten no less than 50 massages and this was one of the best! I will say, at first, I was taken aback by the absence of some of the typical "spa" novelties. One being that you cover up with a couple towels instead of a sheet and also the walls/doors aren't very "sound proof". I got over that QUICK once Cindy got to work. I've been here about six or seven times already, and with the exception of one of the visits, it's been a great experience every time. I usually get the 70 minute massage for $50. Oh heads up, they charge you before your massage, so you either can bring cash tip, or charge it to your card after your massage. You have the option of taking a shower before your massage at the place; they have two nice, clean showers with plenty of towels. The massage room is pretty standard, clean, and well-kept. It's very quiet, but they do play a little background music which I appreciate. For the one time I went and did not have a good massage, it was because another customer was being super demanding and disruptive. Because of scheduling issues, my masseuse had to keep coming in and out to diffuse the situation. Things happen...but at that time I wished my masseuse wasn't also working the front desk. I've gotten a few massages here throughout the years and I've always been impressed by the level of professionalism and care for all the guests. Most recently got a 130 minute massage from Jennifer after booking online and it was the best massage I've ever gotten. She was attentive to every location that needed work and clarified specifically about my ankle injury. I had indicated all of my requests while booking online, and they read it. Her hands and feet are magic, she did part walking back and part sports massage while incorporating some Thai bodyweight techniques and traditional massage techniques as well. I needed the massage after a rough week of intense workouts and she delivered, I'm in pure euphoria right now! Facilities are clean and quiet and there are showers of you'd like to utilize them. I wouldn't say this place is 100% bad, but I did not enjoy my experience today. I called and booked a hot stone massage for 4pm. I arrived on time and they didn't have my appointment scheduled. They said I could wait until 4:30pm and still be serviced, so I waited. I don't know if it was a miscommunication between the front desk staff and the masseuse, but I received what felt like a deep tissue massage. I'm very sore, it was not relaxing, and she didn't use one hot stone. Then when I gave the masseuse a tip, she looked at the money and frowned. I told her goodbye and she didn't say anything back. it is my first time here today for the massage ever since I moved to the bay. I haven't been able to find a good and professional massage until I came here. The price is 60$ for one hour, which is pretty worth considering the wonderful experience. And I pay another 20$ for the tips to thank the good massage Yoyo provided. I guess it was a thai style even though I didn't ask her. The overall procedure was fantastic. Yoyo knew exactly where she should put more force and where the force should be gentle. Overall a good massage for the price ($50 for 70 min). The venue has more of a utilitarian feel rather than a day spa ambience, but it's clean and in line with expectations for this price range. The masseuse provided great pressure and good variety over the 70 minutes. No complaints about the massage itself. Taking 2 stars away since there is a bit of a language barrier, which may lead to some things coming off as unintentionally curt, like instructions during massage or inquiring about tips at the end. They can probably improve by focusing on some customer experience aspects, like not having to pay for the massage upfront (it's customary everywhere to pay after you receive the services, not before), or providing envelopes up front to put the tip into rather than verbally inquiring about it as soon as you step out of the room. read more

Front desk lady is rude and really needs retraining. The massage was good my first time so i decided it was worth coming back and referring my boyfriend. When I called to make an appt, she told me 12:30 and then said if you come early- it's 12:20. She called me at 12:20 to say i'm not there.. and i said we agreed for 12:30 and that we're on the way. She texted me 12:39 right when we got in to say she cancelled our appt. We were fine to eat the cost and lost time after being a few mins late. True problem was she kept complaining and making us feel bad and guilty to the point where my boyfriend said "I don't think you want us here" and she replied "OK. BYE." and looked back in her schedule book. I already lost the motivation to go for it once she texted me. She is seriously not suited to be the face of the business. People come to relax and have a good experience. She's preventing that.
