My friend and I went here for the first time on 9/26/20. The place is very clean and compliant with social distancing/covid procedures. The lobby is really small and they only let you sit in the lobby when it's empty and right before your appointment time. Massage rooms are clean and they provide hand sanitizer along with the usual clean linen, etc. and you can see that they clean each room after every appointment from the lobby. You pay upfront after you sign a waiver, and they'll lead you to your room to disrobe. The massage therapist will come shortly after. As the pictures appear on Yelp is exactly how it looks and feels inside. I was looking for a nearby massage parlor on the weekends and I found this place had good reviews, so I decided to try it out. Conveniently located by the South Hwy 680 exit and a couple blocks from the shopping center. When I walked in, the reception desk was tucked into a small corner of the place. First thing the host said was pay first before they serviced me. I thought it was odd because you pay for the service after it's been performed. I was whisked away to my room and laid down on the bed face up and I saw these hanging bars. I remember seeing this on tv which the masseuse would grab these bars and use their feet to massage your back. I turned around to face down in the doughnut and then I heard my masseuse walk in. She quietly came in and began massaging me. I requested the sports massage. It wasn't quite the sports massage I had before but at least she applied the right pressure on me. I tipped her 20% but she looked at me like it wasn't enough. I found that to be strange. It made me recall from a picture here that the room I was in were for males. I'm guessing men pay better tips for her. I don't see myself returning here unless I'm in bad need of a massage and my chiropractor's office has no more massage openings for the day I need it for. read more

My husband has been driving during our road trip on Highway one. He needed a massage desperately and scheduled one last minute with the spa. He asked for deep tissue massage but the lady ended up giving him a Swedish massage which didn't help his tense muscle at all. He had a 90 minute massage. It was $95 and he tipped her $20 she argued about the tip and told him that the tip should be $30. I definitely think that that was extremely rude for her to ask for more tip when he wasn't satisfied with her work. Definitely will not be coming back here. I really wanted to like this place - it's 8 mins drive from our place AND they were able to take my husband and me on the same day that I called for an appointment. Giving them two stars because they were able to take us in at 8:45pm, which I know is pretty late. But to be honest, if you're not going to do the best work, you might as well turn away customers or let us know that it's too late and to come back another day. Anyways, right when we walked in, we were told to pay. The front lady didn't ask what type of massage we wanted and for how long. It was assumed. After I finish shower and lay down on the massage table, one masseuse knocked the door and asked come in.. she introduced herself is Laura and I told her my name is Tommy. She took 10 minutes applied lighter force warm meup my muscles , She continuously with the moderate and strong massage technics rotationally on my body. At the end of the one hour massage, I felt totally relaxed and felt sleeping. Surprised me, Laura is not tall lady, but her fingers and hands so strong applied on my body muscles . I can't believe it. I had been to this place ~3-4 times before and thought that the 70 min massage was a decent bargain for their open availability and proximity to my house. One day, I called and it said my number was blocked. Confused, I drove to the location to let them know that I couldn't book an appointment and the lady at the front desk said it was "probably" because I had called to make an appointment at one point and did not show up. WTF?! I've been to both this location and the San Jose one and have not once missed an appointment (usually because when I call I'm already on the way, to be honest) and I pointed this out to the lady at the front desk. She merely shrugged her shoulders and said nothing more. What a terrible experience! Reasonably priced and have consistently had a good massage here. The last visit was not up to the mark. Coco kept checking the phone. Its easy to know, when the massage loses focus and turns to just rubbing. And thats when i saw the phone being checked. That being said, thats the only time the massage was a let down. It was a day before a holiday, so traffic out of town is heavier than usual. Instead of sitting in traffic, I decided to get a full body massage. I also started playing sports again, and have a lot of muscle ache. So the full body massage served 2 purpose. I did a 100 minute full body massage. I called over the phone, and they had room for me at 7:30 PM. My initial masseuse was Jessie, but she was moved to another customer since they had mixed me up with another patrol who had requested Jessie for a 7:30 appointment. I was slightly annoyed at first. But my replacement masseuse turned out to be very good. She definitely took care of the Back aches and my calves, which I have a tendency to have cramps on when playing sports. Her name is Anna, and will definitely be requesting for her at my next visit. She did the walk on my back, which I've never experienced before. The masseuses know what they're doing and make an extra effort to ensure you're happy with the pressure without marketing a bunch of extra items you don't need like some other places do. The main downside is their front desk. Not only have they stopped allowing people to book online but you also can't book ahead of time. This means you're forced to have to call the same day, and the person who answers is often pushy and borderline rude. Examples: - When I ask if so-and-so is available later in the day, I get: "No, you come in now." - When I need 1-2 seconds to think about my schedule availability, I get: "If you don't know when you will come in, call back later." - When I ask if I can schedule an appointment for tomorrow (less than 24 hours away), I get: "No, you call again tomorrow. Bye." Geez, some of us have busy calendars and like to plan ahead, you know. If all you care about is the massage itself, highly recommend coming here. Just had my first massage ever (so nothing to compare it to) and it was FANTASTIC! Vicky was amazing, asked me if pressure was ok, if I was hot, if the towel was too hot. I did a deep tissue massage for 70 minutes. My shoulders have been sore for as long as I can remember, almost mildly painful. Every time I get in the car or sit down at work I adjust and adjust and wince and my back cracks. But after today all of that is gone! My back and shoulders feel almost normal (I don't expect years of stress to be undone in a single session). Clean, tranquil, good building. Elegance Spa. You could have made a returning customer of my bf and I, but there was just one big glaring issue. Your front desk lady, which I am pretty sure is your owner is SO RUDE, so any relaxation you feel from the massage quickly goes out the door. After nice 90 minute massages, we were both feeling very relaxed and I wanted to tip each masseuse $15. I only had two $20 so I went to ask for change and she could have either asked me to wait and finish up the call or put the person on the phone on a brief hold. Instead, she keeps asking me what I want, but since she is only half paying attention, she gets frustrated with me and literally walks away telling me that she does not have time for me. This was after she took one $20 and gave me 2 $10, which leaves me in the exact same situation. I try to explain that I wanted to tip each person $15 and she goes "I gave you two 10s!!" and then shoos me away. When I try to explain again that I wanted to give more than $10 to each masseuse, that is when she storms away and yells at her other worker to help me. Oh I'm sorry for wanting to give your workers more tip money......My masseuse is actually the one to go break my other $20 so I can tip her and my bfs masseuse. Absolute worst experience here. I visited on Sat, May 11 and the lady working the front desk needs to be retrained in customer service etiquette. My husband surprised me with a massage treatment. He dropped me off and when I walked in, she ushered me to a treatment room and said I was already paid for. During my treatment, she called my husband numerous times, harassed him saying that I never showed up, and asked repeatedly what she should do with this appointment slot. My husband insisted I was there and she insisted I wasn't. It turns out, she thought I was someone else when I arrived for my appointment. Halfway through my treatment, she knocked on my door, interrupted my massage, and began to tell me I needed to pay for my treatment. Couldn't this have waited until the end of my service? Did my service have to be so rudely interrupted? She didn't want to simply just tell me I had to pay, she also wanted to explain the situation cutting in to my treatment time. After my service, I paid and she continued to tell me how she thought I was someone else and laughed and smiled about it. Later, I find out the extent to which she was rude to my husband. He asked, "How much is the service?" She responded, "Have you been here before?" My husband replied, "Yes". She said, "Then why are you asking the price for?" Unbelievable. This isn't the type of place you go to and expect stellar customer service. However, this level of unprofessionalism was appalling. Elaine seems to always be quick to defend her masseuses, justifying they deserve at least a $20 tip because they are very professional. If they are so professional, PAY THEM MORE!! If you paid them an actual wage, they wouldn't be such beggars. You make it seem like tipping is mandatory, IT'S NOT! Tipping is completely optional and is a gesture of goodwill. Have your masseuses ever given a few extra minutes of massages as a gesture of goodwill? NOPE. They're just money hungry and short clients a few minutes then beg for tips. $5, $10, $15 tip. A tip is a tip and it's not required. Following/hovering around me makes me less likely to tip. Here is a tip for Elaine: Pay your masseuses a fair wage so they're not reliant on tips to live. A not so elegant experience at Elegance Spa... My friend highly recommended this place and so we called. Our appointments were taken at 9 by the extremely friendly and super helpful front desk lady. My massage started and it was a good massage. I've had worse and I've had better where I was practically drooling on my therapist from falling asleep. The price was $80 for 100 minutes, ok it's decently priced. So then it went downhill when we're giving the tip. My therapist Linda decided to butt in while my friend and I was figuring our tip. So 20%, which is an amazing tip percentage is $16 for our total. Linda decides to tell us without us asking her that $20 is how much people usually tip and that she's on over time. Annoyed my friend and I continue to talk but because it's now 10:45 we were ready to leave. Now we understand it's late. And we understand these women are paid by mostly tip but: A. It is not our fault the front desk had our appointment at 9. Thus, making Linda go on "overtime". Please take that up with the front desk. B. It is so impolite to enter a conversation you are clearly not part of. It left an absolute sour taste in my mouth and I seriously considered leaving without tipping her not even the $16 20% tip. Had a terrible experience! I had booked for the massage and when I reached there, they mentioned that they have given the slot to someone else, and I would need to wait for an hour to get a slot. They gave slot to someone else. I was given an hour later slot when I reached, I clearly didn't have additional time so I choose to leave. Had a very nice deep tissue massage here. Covid precautions weren't like super strict: but everyone had masks on, front door was open, sanitizer all around. I booked a 60 min session last minute and enjoyed it. My masseuse asked me 5 mins in if I wanted to extend to 90 mins for $25 more. On one hand I was very tight and probably needed the extra time. On the other hand I do not like getting up sold or hustled by the practitioner once the sessions already started. A legitimate massage that's budget friendly is hard to find. This is a fancier version of an Asian foot massage type joint. They don't do foot massage at all, however the ambiance is reminiscent of those types of places. They offer various styles of massage. I went for deep tissue and my masseuse was able to offer a lot of pressure. I like that they have 70 minute massages and their prices are very fair. They lost one star because no one picked up their phone when I tried calling several times. I had to drive and go in person to make my appointment and come back a few hours later. The location is a little tricky since you need to go through the doors near the back of the building and then up the stairs or elevator, but the massage is worth it! read more

I've heard decent things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. It's relatively easy to find (on the second floor) and was nice and clean compared to other asian massage places. My friend made a 2:30 PM appointment for 3 of us. They took my friends in first and I patiently waited in their small waiting area until they called me in. I see that there is no receptionist and it's already a hot mess since the masseuses are trickling in and out of the rooms to help manage the front desk. Not sure if this is a normal thing, but I work in the service industry too and I know it's sooo important to have a receptionist manage the office so that masseuses can focus on giving the client their massages. Someone comes in at 3PM for their massage appointment and he was immediately attended to and taken before me. WHAT? So the lady who was managing the front desk for a while ends up being my masseuse and 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, she finally takes me back- which should have been a red flag to just NOT get the massage. The massage itself was great! She checked in with me to make sure the pressure was perfect, which I appreciated. When I checked my watch, I realize that she had finished 10 whole minutes early! In massage time, that's precious minutes!! I was extremely irritated, but she had already left the room before I could say anything. I tried not to make a big fuss out of it too since my friends were already waiting for me and we had plans after the massage. I ended up handing my masseuse a stack of dollar bills (I had no other big bills lol), and she looked extremely disappointed and didn't even bother thanking me (It was still a 22% tip).
