Picked this salon because of high reviews and close to my hotel at the beach. I had not had my nails done IN YEARS and was no longer aware of the lingo or what was available. I've been going to elegant nail spa for over a month now. A week after getting an acrylic fill, all of my gel polish started ripping off, and my nails started lifting. Came with no appointment for 3 pedicures. They offered something to drink even for my 2 small children that were not getting any services. Their service was of great quality, their most basic pedicure doesn't include gel so a bit of an upgrade. I normally don't give rating but what happen to my hands and feet this week i have to write a review and shared my bad experiences. I normally get my nails done by a gentleman name Brandon, he was so good and the best nail Technician that has ever done my nails. I learn from some of the Technician in the shop that the owner Andy let Brandon go because he did obey the owner cleaning rule. And would deduct $20 perday every day if Technician dont do there job. Looks like to me the owner Andy is running some illegal Labor Law Regulation. I am a Labor attorney and iknow most nail technician work on commission. They get 1099 and not W-2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told Brandon was no longer working at Elegant Nails Spa so they gave me to a yound woman who just have a baby. I think her name is Yvonne. she con me in getting a herbal pedicure and and a nails done[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. She rush her services with me, I paid over $100 and it's not worth it. I am so disappointed, polish on my toes was sloppy and my hands looks so bad. Look like an amateur did it. Regardless i am going to find out where Brandon work and will tell all my friend and client to see Brandon at his new place if he still doing nails. I've gotten the NuSkin as well as the organic herbal pedicures, both with gel polish. Both have been incredibly relaxing but I would recommend the herbal- the aromatherapy takes relaxation to another level. I have also gotten a full set, fill and eyebrow wax here. All have been top-notch. Service has always been prompt, friendly, and the technicians really know their stuff. Every time I leave I feel ten times more pampered and relaxed! Skin around nails all cut up/red from cuts. Service here continues to get worse and worse. They rush through your appt, you dont get to look at all the colors because they want you go to the seat asap. I've been cut several times because they are rushing!!! I can't even believe it. By Thursday the nails had already begun to chip, and by Friday (today) there are already huge chunks of polish that have peeled off. I asked if they did nail art and showed the tech a photo of a floral design I'd found on Pinterest. She said she could do it. Her execution was a 3/10. I have been to the Redmill location many many times and love it, this one opened closer to my house and I have tried twice. Both times i've left bleeding, with pain in my cuticles and thick nails. This time I brought it to their attention only to have the nail tech grab my hands, wipe my blood with their hand (EW), and then tell me it's not cut I just have sensitive skin. The nail tech kept grabbing and rubbing the cuticles and it hurt! They gave us I believe $15 off but i'm in pain. I also asked for a Dip manicure and didn't get a manicure just the dip process. It is what it is just maybe consider going to the redmill location. My nail snapped once and they stayed past close to fix it for free, hilltop wouldn't even acknowledge that I was literally bleeding. read more

ATM on-site so if you're caught without cash now you're paying an atm fee on top of it. I've been to this nail salon multiple times over the last 2 years, more times than I should have though to be honest. The only reason I've continued to come for so long is because they were 5 minutes from my house and they gave us complimentary drinks and since it is a newer location it is pretty clean to be honest and I love the massage chairs. When it comes to service though... that's where the ball is dropped... I don't have a nail tech that i repetitively go to at this location because they have all been extremely disappointing... rude, sloppy nail work, and low patience with the customer. If you want a nice relaxing atmosphere this is a great place with the massage chairs and drinks, just don't expect anything impressive in terms of mail execution. They've made me bleed, they've made 2 of my friends bleed when they cut our cuticles and clean the nail bed, and if you get acrylics they'll be uneven or crooked 9/10 times. Even regular polish or gel they seem to mess up. Hopefully they get better nail techs and then this place would be great. There is a taller gentleman who works there, unfortunately I forgot his name, but he was the only competent nail tech they had and actually made my nails look beautiful. Super nice guy and converses great and recommended Netflix shows to me that I did end up loving. Bring Mimi back too, she was also great but they fired her or she quit but she's gone. read more

this is 100% a chop shop. after one visit here i will never return, nor will i recommend this salon to anyone else. i came in just to get my acrylics off. this isn't my usual salon but i chose to give them a chance and i deeply regret it. the man who took my nails off used the wrong tool to clip the nail extensions. the pieces were flying through the room, even hitting his colleague next to him. he then jammed his own nail in between my natural nails and the extensions and proceeded to pop my acrylics off by shoving a nail tip in the gap he made and pushing into my nail bed. this whole process was extremely painful and traumatic for my nails, they are so damaged after leaving the shop. i'd been growing my nails for 3 full months and was so excited about my new growth, but the man was so brutal with my nails so much that the layers were breaking and peeling off. he asked me if i wanted him to cut my nails (which shouldn't have been a question with the state he left my nails in), i said yes and he filed them and left me walking out of the shop with uneven, brittle, and damaged nails. read more

I have been here several times and each time is slightly different. Today I had two different nail techs due to overlapping appointments. The nail tech Paul was very detail oriented and it was by far the best pedicure I've had at this location. The nail tech Mimi was very critical about who had done my nails last and cued questions in a way that would draw responses to make her coworkers look bad. She also cut me three different times and blamed it on me having small hands and "sensitive" skin and continued to buff with the block even though it was raw. I didn't have long nails when I went in, but I definitely have over filed super short now. Overall, it's not my favorite salon, it's close, but it's not consistent in quality . read more

the techs are very nice but the quality of the work has gotten worse every time i've come. the gel x manicure I just got (which was excruciatingly painful due to their gel/ UV system) is falling apart after 3 days, and they left so much glue gunk underneath the nails, which looks and feels gross. they really have rushed my appointments and have cut my skin a number of times. they don't even have you wash your hands before the polish, and then massage lotion onto your hands covered in gritty acrylic dust-- so gross. I have had some good experiences before and have gone so many times but i think i need to find a new salon. I don't recommend it. read more

very unprofessional. my daughter and I went in for 2 pedicures and she got a full set done. The place is beautiful and clean but I was not happy with the service. I picked the Pearl pedicure which was supposed to include an "8 Min massage"!. The 8 min massage was only 4.5 mins and the hot stones massage was 1 stone and he answered a phone call while working on me. The "massage" was just his THUMB pressing into my calf's and shins. Did not rub feet at all. The work on my toes was sub par because they still looked dry as if there wasn't anything done. Typically when prepping for pedicure you have a few minutes soaking. For starters, I felt very welcomed and relaxed. Then, I'm not sure if this is a normal timeframe, but didn't realize it would take 3 1/2 hours for a gel pedicure and dip powder manicure. They charged me $15 for soaking off the gel polish that I had on prior, without my knowledge. They asked me if I wanted it soaked off and I said yes, not knowing it was extra charge. For the basic pedicure and dip powder manicure, it was $95 without tip. I thought that was a bit too overpriced for my nails to be already chipping and breaking in less than one week.
