I have been to this place twice. It is above average, and they do a pretty decent job. The first time I went, I read all the reviews on YELP and gave it a try. I was actually happy with my experience. I got a spa pedicure, it was in my price range, and it took only about an hour. I didn't have to wait, and my pedicure lasted about 2 weeks. At least the nail polish stayed on. This last time I was here, this past week, I had to wait about 45 min. to get into a chair. Also, it was packed and many people were waiting. Now I didn't have an appointment, so waiting was not a problem. Then, finally, when I got in a chair, I waiting another half an hour until someone started my pedicure. And then that took another hour. So after about 2 and a half hours, I finally got my mani pedi. I think next time I am going to aim for an appointment. They do pretty decent work, and I do plan on going back. One good experience, one not so great. I guess third time is a charm. :) read more

I haven't tried their pedicures yet, but my pink and white powder acrylics always turn out beautiful. I'm pretty particular about my nails, and the older gentleman (I can't recall his name) always does exactly what I want. I always get in right away with no appointment, but sometimes, the service itself can take a little longer than expected. If you're in a hurry, they will be mindful of your time though. Prices are pretty standard to other salons, and a light cured gel topcoat is included. I'm happy to have found a great nail salon in the area! read more

Oh boy where do I start. 1)First of all they are next to a bar, so if people are smoking on patio you will smell it, which I did and walked out with a sore throat. 2) the sweet young nail technician was super nice, but had a runny nose, and when I saw she wasn't going to wipe her dripping nose I suggested she blow her nose so it didn't fall on my hands! She got up blew her nose and didn't wash her hands! This was in the center of the flu outbreak 3) Dip color was done I think by someone for the first time, 3 days later they were chipping, I went back, they fixed it, but color didn't last another 2 days before it started to chip again...$40 manicure lasted 3 days :( 4) the place is dirty, the nail filing residue is all over, it's like they don't sweep or dust 5) I live in the area, so sad that I can't find a great nail place close by read more

Went here with my sister yesterday. We both got mani/pedis and I love how my manicure turned out. Wish I could say the same for my pedicure. Lynn did our pedicures and cut my cuticles way too short, cutting the inside of my toe where the nail bed is. It was pretty painful while she was "trimming" cuticles and today there is puss coming out of that corner of my toe. Never going back and I would advise staying away if you're looking for a relaxing pedicure. Not to mention everything was filthy. read more

He was super sweet and attentive to my requests. And Louis......man... best spa pedicure of my life! He was super gentle with the trimming and cuticle cutting! Took his time with the massaging with each treatment of the sea salt scrub, cooking mask and lotion! I almost fell asleep!! And my toes came out super cute! And he's super sweet too:). I went here because the power went out at Diva's nail and it was the worst idea I ever had! I went in and asked for a pink and white acrylic ombré fill, and the lady at the front directed me to an old man at the back who said he could do it, he couldn't! He did one hand and insisted he keep going and I had to yell for help multiple times to get someone to make him stop. He wouldn't let go of my hand and he wouldn't stop using the drill. Another lady said she would fix it but then proceeded to help to other ladies. Finally she had another lady sand off what the old man did but by then I had to go to work. So over an hour, about an hour 20 and I had nothing to show for it but ugly nails that I ended up cutting off so they wouldn't snap off along with my real nail so I could work. Long story short even the ladies who were getting there nails done said that place wasn't very good and shared their horror stories about that place and asked me for the number and name of the lady I use at Diva's. read more

After a manicure here I ended up in urgent care with an infection in my cuticles. Stay away. Far, far away.

Based on the reviews on Yelp, decided to try this place. I was hopeful that this was going to turn out well since so many people had suggested this place...but it is honestly the WORST experience of my life when it comes to pedicures. It started off okay...I noted it was a decently-clean place..not a lot of polish colors, but I was able to find one I liked in the limited selection...I sat down and had one older lady on my hands (I don't know her name but she appears to be the oldest lady there) and the older guy on my feet (not the one wearing long-sleeves and slacks)...They stuck my hands in very warm water (ok..I can handle warm), but then they told me to put my feet in the water and I swear I could only last 10 seconds before I had to pull my feet out!!! It was almost SCALDING!! I told them it was too hot and then the lady said something to the guy, he changed the faucet to cold (I think), but then they both started pushing my feet in when it was still HOT! I kept telling them "it's still too hot" and they kept a constant pressure on my legs that I kept the soles of my feet in. Finally it was tolerable (but still really hot) and they started... The lady looks at my fingers and says "hmph...I soo no cut-down for your nails"...and I politely tell her "no..I have to keep them short for work" and she mumbles something to the guy and she starts on my cuticles. First off, I was testing colors on my fingers prior to the start and I had some color on my left thumb and some on my fingers. Previous experience has shown me that the people to do my nails NOTICE this and remove all traces of color without me asking (since it's pretty obvious there's color). The lady continued and did not pay any mind to the "dirt-like" appearance of my thumb. I have to give her kudos for taking her time and not cutting me like the last time I got a manicure. I tried to relax and let them do their thing, so I didn't notice that she didn't take the color off my thumb until she was done and working on the person to come in...when finished, I think "no big deal" but see the pic and you'll know what I mean... The man is working on my feet...let me preface by saying I have a semi-ingrown toenail on my big toe that has given me issues in the past...normally, it works out and they can get it out without problems...apparently this is not one of them...So the guy gets to my big toenail and I KNOW this can go both ways...he starts cutting and I'm starting to relax because nothing has hurt...yet...he starts saying something to the lady working on my hands, and then he tells me "it's deep!"...I acknowledge this with a "yeah" and a laugh...then the familiar cutting and pulling starts...and lasts...and lasts...I'm exhaling so that I don't clench up and jerk away, but I finally cry out "it hurts!" and then the lady snaps at the guy and he keeps saying "almost done"...he keeps yanking and peeling my toenail and it feels like someone is scraping under my toenail with a hot poker! I look again after a couple of minutes of him trying to soak it in cuticle cream and still peeling away it it...it is DRIPPING BLOOD! I nearly freak out, but I'm a nurse so I keep my calm...I tell him "IT HURTS" and he finally yanks the damn thing off my toe...but when I look down, he puts the cut nail and cuticle on my foot...and it's all bloody! He hasn't even gotten to my other foot yet! He keeps pressing my toe and then he puts my foot back in the dirty water! Oh NOH!...This happened to me last time at Envy nails and it got infected! He also kept pressing on my toe to get it to stop bleeding. He was saying that it was "very deep" and yadda-yadda, but made it sound like it was my toe's fault. By this time, I've resigned to the fact I'm going to have to deal with a possible infected toe so I just let him finish since there's nothing else I could do. Luckily, the other foot went without issue and I was finally done. He sprayed my feet with quick dry and had me get out of the chair and sit over in the waiting area. He turned and started working on the lady who was waiting right next to me. I waited for about 5 minutes and I couldn't wait any longer. I stood up and started trying to get eye contact. Finally, a lady doing acrylics stood up and yelled out "how much?" and the guy responded, but didn't even turn around. I paid for the mani-pedi and I even left them a $5 tip (I always tip...I had family in the food-service industry and ALWAYS tip...though I shouldn't have...) even though I shouldn't have. The lady asked me if I wanted a wax...HELL NO! I'm not spending one more cent there!!! When I walked out, the guy didn't even turn around or say "thank you" or "sorry" or anything...I'm posting pics of my thumb and toe just so you know... I WILL NEVER, EVER go here or suggest this place...I normally go to Studio 600 and only see Kendra...This is what I get for trying to safe gas and time... read more

Oh yeahhh!!!! I went here yesterday and I had the best time!!!!!! I made an appointment and they were very greeting and nice!!!!! They can do almost every nail design in every color you could ever imagine!!!! This is totally my new favorite nail salon! The lady that did my pedicure was named Judy and she did the best job ever! PLUS she spoke really good English and barely talked to anyone else besides me!!!! My mom got her nails done and they put a gel coating on top, her nails are perfect and gorgeous!!!! I just came back to Elegant's nails the second time around and their service was still outstanding! The men and women who work here are all very friendly. The quality of work they do is by far one of the best I've experienced in a while, very clean and professional. They are very gentle and make sure that everything you're getting is what you want. It's not the most elaborate nail salon but their service surely make up for their furnishings. Their nail gel colors are definitely worth it and have lasted for 2-3 weeks! I called around to different nail salons in the area to compare prices and I yelped them to read the reviews. I was iffy on coming to this one but it was the closest to me. They sat me down as soon as I walked in and the guy that did my nails was super friendly and nice. He was also super gentle with me. I got a full set and he cut my cuticles for me. I told him that I wanted my nails thin and they came out perfect! He also did this cute design for me. The rest of the people in there were pretty friendly too, they also weren't in a rush. Lynn is amazing! I always get compliments on my nails at least 3 times a day...and it is because of Lynn! I am very picky when it comes to my beauty regimen and with Lynn, she knows exactly what to do and fixes things I didn't even know were wrong!! I live about 20 miles away from this salon...but I don't care....I would travel further if Lynn moved - she's worth it!! She also does waxing and keeps you entertained while she's working on you!
