I love the aromatherapy oil...the citrus oil smells amazing, the owner goes above and beyond to clarify any miscommunications, which I really appreciated. I tried the cbd oil, but I didn't notice significant differences after...so I wouldn't recommend it...but other than that I totally recommend this spa and it's services! Great place to relax. Yes the membership is kinda pricey but if you come Tuesday or Wednesday it's worthwhile. The add-ons are great - from Himalayan salts , hot stones , CBD or aromatherapy. Honestly this place gets 6 out of 5 solely because of Ezzie . Truth be told shes the only reason i still have a membership. The front desk gals are awesome so quick and responsive. But Ezzie , let me tell ya ... she makes you feel beyond comfortable and gets the job done . Her guide dog "Woof Woof" is an absolute angel . I always book an hour ; but now I'm thinking 90 minutes cause it just goes so fast . I booked online for an appointment one evening & the place was packed! Dang, I thought, this place must be very good if there are this many people waiting for a massage. My massage therapist was Kathleen & she was amazing. Very gentle but firm on the knots in my shoulders, upper back & neck. She said I needed to stretch more & after my massage she gave me instructions on how to further loosen up my muscles. Wow. What great recommendations! Been coming here for about 3 years. Therapists come and go but I have my favorites. If you're reluctant to try a new person read the reviews. They're generally pretty accurate. Try to book at least a couple days in advance. You can check their website to see who's available before calling. Or you can book directly online. Rooms are quiet, nice vibe, clean, don't have to wear a mask if vaccinated. Staff is prompt answering phone, always courteous. Have spoken to several different front desk attendants over the years, they're always kind and happy to help. The price increased post lockdown so probably won't be able to come as often. I love getting a massage, but I hardly ever get one because of the hassle associated w/ locker rooms, showers, sauna..etc..etc. I loved that with elements I was in and out in an hour, and walked away relaxed and rejuvenated. Since they don't have the overhead of a fancy spa, they are able to keep the prices adorable for moms who are on a budget. With their wellness program, moms can save even more! Elements is a subscription based massage parlor--$70/month and you get one massage a month. Their customer service is very good; the people working the phones are very pleasant and they are flexible if you miss getting your massage one month (at least they were with me when I missed my last months massage--I did it the following month). My only real concern is that the massages are not good. My first masseuse started 10 minutes late--apologized and said she would run late to make up for it; and then finished 5 minutes early. The massage itself was pretty mediocre too. My second and last massage was pretty worthless. No pressure whatsoever and I was hoping it would end about half way through. There are a million massage parlors in Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, garden grove, etc. they are 50-60/hour max (or much cheaper) and many have great yelp reviews. read more

They are clean and professional, and very communicative with appointments and scheduling (via text too!). There are so many great therapists and treatments here -- Kat and Noriko (prenatal!) are my favorite. The Himalayan Salt stone add-on is worth it and the prices are very reasonable. I requested a massage for this afternoon at 2pm. I was contacted to reschedule for 1pm, which I agreed to. I then got another call to reschedule for 1:15pm with another therapist, which I agreed to. I now received another call cancelling my appointment because the therapists feel that it's best to wait 6 weeks after giving birth to receive a massage. They also added in that it would affect my breastfeeding ability due to fluid drainage. They didn't care to ask if my doctor cleared me, if I am still open for it, or even if I'm breastfeeding and am even affected by their statement. I already lost most of the baby weight and don't even look like I gave birth, and I feel alleviated from my childbirth pain. I've already been cleared for light exercises even. I wouldn't be offended if it was company policy, but it is not... simply their therapists opinion. This started out ok until I wanted to cancel my membership. They told me my account would be frozen until I wanted to start again, which I never did. Then they just start charging me $100 a month again until I called. I was told by "Kevin" the assistant manger that my membership would be canceled. They made me fill out a cancellation form and charged me another $100 the very next month. Then "Chip" told me they didn't have to refund me me anything.Don't fall victim to the membership plan, worse that cell phone companies I'll make sure to tell my friends how this franchise makes its money. read more

Don't sign up for the monthly package unless you have no plans of cancelling. They don't cancel you when you request it and you end up paying additional months payment that you shouldn't. On top of that you can't verbally cancel, you must email it, but when you email them they don't respond!!! Terrible service. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had a tough experience. I booked a massage on the phone, and was looking forward to it. I came early as requested, filled out my paperwork, met with the therapist, undressed and was waiting on the table for what seemed like a long time. The therapist, who was very kind, came in to let me know that because I had put that I have cancer on my forms, she "wasn't allowed to touch me and that the front desk wanted to speak to me." When I got to the front desk, I was simply asked if I wanted to rebook. No one asked what stage of cancer I have, or apologized for what had just happened, just told me that their policy was to cover health issues on the phone when booking (which so obviously did not happen in my case, or I would not have come to this appointment) and that only certain therapists can work with a client who has cancer (rather gruffly and with no understanding). Instead of helping me with my stress, I left and cried in my car, feeling like a pariah. read more

This is the second Elements location I have been to, and it is just as great as the one in Tempe. What I like about this location is that they do a lot of communication via text message. When I booked my appointment, I got a text with information about COVID-19 protocols. This was very helpful in preparing before my appointment. Also, as my masseuse had a cancellation, I was asked if I wanted to come in earlier. They even sent me a photo of the gratuity guide when I asked. So helpful! The staff is very nice and friendly. I have had two massages here so far, and each one was with a different masseuse. Both were great! They communicated with me during the massage very well. I love this massage place, they are very skillful in their massages. They will give the massage of your life. I was sore 2-3 days after a single hour of deep tissue massage. Although I moaned and groaned, it was only out of ecstasy. I am a masochist, and enjoy deep discomfort while getting a massage. So if you want your money's worth come here. My wife is a dainty little thing when it comes to massage and almost crumbled underneath the masseuse hands. Thankfully the masseuse asked my wife to make sure she was ok and the wife gladly took the opportunity to turn the pressure down. This was one of, if not the best massage I've had on the west coast. Since moving to California 5 years ago, I haven't found a massage therapist as good as my one in New Jersey where I grew up, but Emily at Elements was awesome. We had a thorough conversation prior to the massage about my problem areas so she knew where to work and where to avoid. She was very communicative about the pressure throughout the massage and adjusted for me as I wished. It was literally perfect. I often get cold no matter what but before the massage Emily asked if I wanted the table heat on (yes!) and they have a nice blanket on top so I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. They had nice, soft music playing in the background with candles and some sort of scent that really made the whole experience amazing. The girls at the front desk were very warm and welcoming when walking in. They greeted me immediately, got me set up with the paperwork and with a glass of water. However, I will say they were a little pushy at the end after my massage to join their wellness program. While I don't wish to sign up for a variety of personal reasons (which I didn't feel the need to disclose to them after being asked multiple times to sign up), I do see the value in the program if you are a frequent massage goer. Elements Massage was a vendor at my company Health Faire. I received a card for $40 off my first massage. After my second visit, I decided to become a member. I like that they only require a 30 day notice to stop service and that they have options for putting accounts on hold. I consider myself to be sound sensitive and it took a few visits for me to get used to the sound of the air conditioning and the music. Luckily, during each massage, I've been able to request that the music be lowered. I've been trying to see a different masseuse to know my option and check out the different styles. Heated tables have three settings: High, Med and Low. So speak up and be comfortable. I have seen Jessica, Noriko and Adrian so far. Jessica did some deep work for me on my upper back, as that is where I carry most of my stress. Noriko, I wish all others would learn to move and arrange the sheets as well as she does. Noriko spent some time on my head and scalp which I love and upper back work was excellent. Adrian, really worked my shoulders, yet amazingly the next day I wasn't as sore as I expected.
