However, my alterations were finished quickly and I am amazed with the seamstress's work! My dress fits perfectly and the staff was so pleasant and professional throughout the whole process. The seamstress took the time to explain her work and what alterations needed to be done which I really appreciated. She put so much attention and care into her work and it shows in the final product. I will definitely be coming back for any alteration needs I have in the future.

Extremely disappointing experience I am extremely…read moredisappointed with the level of customer service at this laundromat. A customer arrived at 8:46 PM to pick up his clothes, even though the business hours clearly state that the laundromat is open until 9:00 PM. Despite arriving before closing time, he was refused service without being given a reasonable explanation. What was even more concerning was the employee's behavior toward me. Rather than handling the situation professionally or explaining the reason for refusing service, he became disrespectful and told me to "shut up you fu****." Customers should never be spoken to this way, especially when they are simply trying to receive the service advertised during the business's posted operating hours. There is a significant difference between having a policy and communicating that policy respectfully. If customers are expected to arrive before a certain time for clothing pickup, that information should be clearly posted. Refusing service 14 minutes before closing and then responding disrespectfully is unacceptable customer service. I strongly recommend that management review how customers are being treated and whether the posted hours accurately reflect the services actually being provided. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this laundromat. The issue was not simply the refusal of service--it was the complete lack of professionalism and respect shown to the customer. This is really unprofessional.

I waited a little over a year to have my wedding dress cleaned (which I learned is pretty early)…read moreThe bottom of my dress was so dirty!! I walked through town in it on my wedding day and was so nervous they wouldn't be able to get all the dirt and marks out. I called before going in and spoke with Angus who specializes in working with the bridal cleaning team. Angus is the best. When I came in he looked at the dress with me so we could both point out marks. He then walked me through their extensive process as well as timeline. The best part is they do not send out the dresses to be cleaned. Everything stays on site. They only send it off site if it is being preserved. I wasn't ready to do that just 10/10 and beyond experience. I also really appreciated them staying in constant contact with me through the process. I've now started taking my more delicate pieces and I have been just as happy I was with my dress.

Worst Dry Cleaning Experience Ever - Avoid Holly Cleaners at All Costs!…read more I've been a loyal customer at Holly Cleaners for many years, but after my latest nightmare of an experience, I'm done forever. I brought in my expensive jacket for cleaning and waited a ridiculous THREE WEEKS for it to be ready. When I finally picked it up, the jacket wasn't cleaned at all--it came back just as dirty as when I dropped it off! If I hadn't inspected it right there on the spot, I'm convinced they would've gaslighted me and called me a liar for complaining. I was not able to receive my jacket back until I paid them $73. That's $73 for keeping my coat for 3 weeks. What a deal! But the real kicker was the manager, Angus. This guy was beyond rude--arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or offering a refund, he had the audacity to suggest sending it out AGAIN to the same third-party service that botched it the first time. And get this: he actually expected me to THANK HIM for not charging me a second time! As if that's some grand gesture of goodwill. He tried to spin the whole mess as my fault for not understanding their shady outsourcing practices, but hello--it's THEIR responsibility to ensure the job gets done right, not mine! Holly Cleaners clearly doesn't value long-time customers or quality service. Save your time, money, and sanity--go anywhere else. Zero stars if I could give it!

I am a very short person and alterations are my life. If I were smart, I'd learn how to sew myself. But evidently I'm not that smart. Sam is rather pricey. My pants hemming costs $12-$15 each and I paid $125 each for 2 bridesmaid dresses to be hemmed, taken in on the sides, and have a strap shortened on one of them. YIKES, I know. But he's so efficient, fast, and convenient that I can't seem to bring myself to go elsewhere, especially given the fact that I usually need my alterations done quickly. He's a really nice guy too. One time, he had hemmed a couple of pairs of pants for me but when I got home I realized that I wanted them just a bit shorter. I went back and he fixed them for me without an extra charge. Sam's the man, and I took off 1 star only because I know other places charge much much less. But for me, his convenience and his work are worth it.

I came in simply to see if the zipper on my dress could be repaired. Instead of assessing the damage professionally, the owner decided to give me an unsolicited lecture on how to properly put on a dress-claiming the zipper was broken because I didn't pull it up "the right way." I tried to explain that I am a professional who has worn and handled countless gowns throughout my career. I am more than familiar with how to put on a dress. On top of that, he suggested putting a heavy-duty jacket-style zipper on a delicate, multi-layered ballroom gown worth thousands. That's absurd-imagine putting a chunky zipper on a lace wedding dress. He clearly didn't understand the type of garment I brought in. Just take a look at how the owner responds to customers who leave low ratings-rather than trying to resolve the issue, he gets defensive and blames the client. There's a clear pattern: if an alteration isn't done well, somehow it's always the customer's fault. Too short? Your fault. Uneven? Your fault. In my case, I brought in a dress with a broken zipper, and apparently, that was also my fault-because I didn't know how to zip it up properly. Ridiculous. I did not come in for a lesson-I came in for a repair. I found his attitude unnecessarily rude, patronizing, and completely unprofessional. I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, and I absolutely will not be returning and would NEVER recommend this business to anyone.
