Been to elevate numerous times and order standard hot mocha. Coffee is usually very good. Lunch time not so much. I looked and the beans used to grind for espresso were medium roast and my coffee had no depth and did not have espresso flavor. I have gotten their crepes before and were very good. Today I tried the ham and cheese breakfast croissant. Very disappointed. Croissant was burnt from the grill and also made it fall apart. But the worst was the very tough egg because it had been cooked like a crepe and was overdone. All the ham and cheese were folded up on one side of the sandwich like a crepe. Bad idea all around. I really wanted to sit down for lunch but the place was full of people. Half of them did not have food or a drink and were using the space for computer work. I understand this coffee house culture of hanging out and working but that will stop me from going back for lunch. My money will go elsewhere for numerous reasons. read more

This place was pretty decent. I think it is nice for the community, but there are several downs that give me reason for the 3 stars. This place is clean, but crammed. I went on a tuesday during the day at 1 pm and theywere very busy (good for them!) but, they took away some tables to put a bean roaster up front.... Which, doesnt seem very sanitary by the way and... I think it is pretty awkwardly placed. But, they did have a nice staff. One girl that served me gave me great answers and recommendations. I ended up getting a small iced drink with three espresso shots made as a chai.... i wanted to tip her but they took all my cash because it was 7 dollars for this little drink!! Thats so expensive.... I wanted to tip her but didnt have anythjng left over. It was already hard jutifying the purchase of a drink that expensive. So, I got the drink that she made to me and it was HOT. Thats right, in an iced cup, with super light ice and it was hot... however the espresso was smooth! I wanted to spend the day studying there but there werent any tables to sit at or outlets eve after hanging around on my phone for an hour. I know thats not their fault, but this experience was simply expensive and crowded. read more

The service is outstanding and the drinks are outstanding. Phoenix suburbians unite! We must support all the locally-owned non-chain businesses we can! If you don't want all chain restaurants in the suburbs, you have to support the family-owned places as much as you can. Skip Starbucks and go here. If you're in a hurry, check their website, they have text-based ordering where you can text your order in advance so they can have it ready for you. They can also tie your phone number to a pre-paid account so that you don't even have to have cash or credit ready. Very tech-savvy place. Highly recommend! read more

I have been here multiple times because of the atmosphere, which is hip but not disturbing at all if you need to get some work done or get some reading in. They have a lot of comfortable seating and plug points at almost every area in case your gadget runs out of battery as you work. The place is rustic and gives a good feel with the music just right and filled with people from different walks of life just enjoying their coffee, working or just catching up with friends. The food there is pricey and meh. I had a breakfast crepe and a savory one at two different occasions and they were mediocre at best. The coffees here are outstanding but the prices are sky rocketing! Almost $7 for a small medium(16oz-they have 4 sizes) regular cappuccino! I feel my money is better spent elsewhere when it comes to prices. And it's just not the coffees that are really expensive. But all in all I would definitely come here again as service is fast and it is a nice place to relax, lay back and enjoy some coffee whilst reading. read more

Really cool place to get coffee and something to eat. The coffee and crepes are excellent. The atmosphere is inviting and the chairs are comfortable. So perfect. The atmosphere is just spot on. I love going whether it's just to grab coffee and leave or if I am there studying or just want to chill. I love their Apple Harvest (?) salad. So delicious and beautifully prepared. Baristas are always very nice (especially Brianna!). Can't wait to hopefully become a regular and attend some of the live music events they put on every week!! read more

This place is great. I ordered a bagel, egg, cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich and it was very tasty. The atmosphere is very laid back and plenty of seating and place to do homework/work. The customer service is also awesome, the gal at the cashier was very inviting and friendly. The only reason that it's not 5 stars is because I like the at home feel of when you eat in and they give you mugs/glasses etc. I will definitely be back! read more

This is a fantastic coffee shop. There are tons of comfy couches and chairs, as well as tables to choose from. The live music on Friday and Saturday nights is great. The staff is very friendly and super accommodating. Plus, they have worked out a deal with Harkins to allow patrons to take their Elevate beverage into the theater! read more

So I have been going to this coffee spot for a few years now and I have always received great service. We'll except for the time it was really busy and was asked to leave the spot I was sitting in because they were going to be having a meeting in the space. I did jokingly ask who he was going to have move for me out in the general space since I'm moving for a meeting, but that just seemed uncomfortable for him lol. (More recently they have posted expected meetings on the entrance to the meeting space so that is appreciated). As a customer I enjoy a little sarcasm and pointing out goofs! Like the time I ordered then realized I didn't scan my rewards app then turned back for my cup and just about forgot to pay! The girl was quick with the jokes and pointed it out, I laughed. I moved on. I enjoyed my coffee. I have never met an unkind cashier or barista, although I sometimes wonder if they are short handed and it wears on them running back and forth from cash register to kitchen to food delivery. But they do a great job! On the length of time for coffee, it's almost immediately in my hand! Of course I drink black coffee so I don't think that counts ;). But those of you who are unhappy with the drink time, text ahead. It's a great option and pretty easy. Now I would like to see a little expansion into the vacant space next to Elevate (since many times I can't find a spot to sit except for a nice spot in the direct 120degree summer sun). I have brought this up with an answer that even the politicians could appreciate.... Since I have no idea where the answer actually started, ended and business conversation commenced. Touché sir touché. In short, being one who grew up in Seattle where coffee is on every corner, in every store, and homes. I enjoy this coffee shop and prefer it over all other places. They always make my wife's coffee great which allows me to go home with confidence. Sumatra is ok with me to make everyday if anyone from Elevate reads these ;) read more

I have only been a few times during the work day, but this place is great. Wonderful atmosphere, workers are incredibly friendly and helpful. Wasn't sure what to try and the lady asked what i liked to come up with an awesome drink! Hope to go back at night for some music sometime. Great place to do some work, to read, to hang out with friends or to meet. Speaking of meeting, you can book a room there to have meetings. I'm not sure how that works, but if you have a lot to get done without interruption go to the main room, otherwise you will have to move when a meeting is about to happen. I love the atmosphere. It's close to everything I do. While I am not a coffee drinker, I have had their grilled cheese (very good) and their veggie crepe (also very good). They have a good variety of beverages and snacks. They have a menu complete with breakfast items, sandwiches, and crepes. They also have live music at night, I believe on the weekends. They have a rewards points program in which you may win some fun prizes and they donate 10 cents from every latte to Water 4 Kids. I just love this place. The employees are friendly and it's a chill atmosphere with nice blend of music playing in the background. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Their cappuccino's are the best ever! Elevate isn't your chain coffee shop. Owned by locals, the environment is warm and invites you to sit at a communal table with your laptop, or chat with a friend in one of the comfy seating areas throughout the store. There's outdoor seating, as well, a meeting room, live music on Friday & Saturday night, and freshly prepared coffees, teas, and food. I haven't eaten there, but lots do, so I'm assuming the food is pretty good. read more

We love this coffee shop. We frequently visit, listen to live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and enjoy light food including delicious crepes. We bring our dogs who als enjoy the patio. Nice place, spacious, well decorated, and extremely friendly staff. The food is awesome as well. I just wish they had not removed the soda machine as I am not much of a coffee drinker. read more

Not just for 20-something hipsters worrying about their hair. We just took our 4 year old daughter out for breakfast and a show at this wonderful coffee shop. She and 30 of her kind (plus moms, dads and grands) enjoyed a full breakfast of turkey sausages, French toast sticks, fresh sliced green apples and a juice pouch. Plus a small goodie bag with some candy, stickers and fruit gummies. Then the Anthem Youth Theater cast of Peter Pan came in full costume and sang two numbers. In between songs and after the show the singers strolled the cafe, met the kids and posed for hundreds of pictures.. Awesome fun for just $7. I was happy to see the owner helped out one of his "regulars" who was behind me in a busy line. The guy was obviously in there often and was bemused by his little cafe being overrun by toddlers and all he wanted was a cuppa' Joe! The owner snuck him over to the side and the guy just left his $2 on the counter. The grandma in front of me and I both thought that was great. We didn't want the regulars to be put off by all the kids being welcomed. Great summer activity during the week in the AM before it's too hot. read more

I love this coffee shop, such great energy and the Chi Latte's are soo delicious!! Much better then the Star ...coffee The people that work there are kind and sweet. The only thing I recommend is to take down that commercial for that tech company on your TV, I think the person that purchased that advertisement on your TV in your shop is flashing devil symbols covertly. A typical "Illuminati" tactic to hex goodness. Elevate is connected with the Hope Church and they do a lot of humanitarian work. They give to helping provide water wells for 3rd world countries. They are good people. The devil and satan's people always try to hex goodness. Look up that tech commercial you have and see the symbolism of Bophet the satanic god and look up Illuminati symbols for Satanism. The devil worshipers own this country (see Mark Pasio on youtube) and they love to hex the workers of G-d like the good people at Elevate. read more
