In April, Elevate serviced and cleaned my HVAC system. During the visit, the technician repeatedly tried to sell me replacement equipment and additional services. The very next day, my emergency drain pan was filled with water. In all the years I owned this system, that had never happened. The problem was not the emergency pan itself. Multiple independent HVAC contractors confirmed that Elevate had cracked the condensate pan during their service. As a result, water continuously drained into the emergency pan every two to three days, eventually causing mold to develop inside the emergency pan. Since the latter part of May, I have contacted Elevate more than 30 to 40 times requesting that the General Manager or the owners return my calls. They never did. Instead of accepting responsibility, I was told the damage already existed and that they supposedly had before-and-after photos. The facts simply do not support that claim. Prior to Elevate's visit, my HVAC system had never overflowed into the emergency pan, and my previous HVAC contractor had maintained clean service records with no indication of this issue. Even more troubling, Elevate initially wanted approximately $2,000 to repair the condensate pan their technician had damaged, later reducing the amount to $1,000. A customer should never be expected to pay for damage caused by the company performing the work. As a business owner myself, I have delayed writing this review because I believe companies deserve the opportunity to make things right. I always take care of my own customers and understand that mistakes can happen. What matters is how a company responds. Unfortunately, this was not customer service. It was weeks of unanswered calls, shifting explanations, and no meaningful effort to resolve damage that multiple HVAC professionals concluded occurred during Elevate's service. I also requested reimbursement for the service contract and the work that resulted in this damage. I received no resolution and no accountability. My concern is not only the damage to my HVAC system but the complete lack of communication and responsibility afterward. Despite setting up a maintenance plan, I've experienced recurring issues, and they've consistently failed to resolve them. Instead, they've focused on charging for unnecessary services, often leaving me with costly invoices. Their communication is poor, and they seem unresponsive when issues arise. installed new HVAC after 11 year old was unreliable leaking and rusty. We are so glad we did it. It was completed so much nicer than the last one. We also bought the 10 year warranty on parts and labor. It's working great. It does not blow on you making you uncomfortable but rather cools evenly . They did a great job outside too replacing the copper and attachments recovered. We went with their dipped equipment that protects against rusting in our harsh climate. Cleanup was pretty good. Considering how everything has gone up in price I feel we did very good. Nothing is cheap today but we feel in comparison to 11 years ago we did not pay that much more plus we have the 10 years ago labor and parts warranty. I had a new AC unit installed 2 years ago by General AC. They sold to Elevate and I still had an annual service contract. My AC stopped working recently and they had just been out for the annual inspection. Apparently, some wires had shorted out. They gave me a bill for $450 to cut an inch of wire and re-attach it. I had this business change and upgrade my electrical panel at a cost of $6.5 k. I found out they left a bracket out the meter was removed and notified them. I contacted and spoke various people and managers and have yet to get someone out to fix the issue. Meanwhile started to face issues with the water system, Placate Home Services dispatched a plumbing and electrical team to do a diagnosis. The diagnostic findings was the out and the electrical cord needed to be replaced. $1095 total, it did not solve the issue. They came back and said it was the pressure switch. It was replaced $350.00. This did b not fix the issue. I called them back and mentioned to electrical and the plumbing management that I need for them to send out a more experiencing technician. I have agree to the prices because this was a rental unit and I could not the tenant not have water running. I also mentioned that I needed an itemized bill instead of an invoice with total. At this point I started getting the run around and that managers were in a meeting and they will get back to me. I sent pictures of the issue. No response from them at all. I had to get another company to come out. With 30 minutes they provided a recommendation with detail estimate. They resolved and fix the issue. I called Elevate Homes Services to let them no that they have no Sent sent any body out fix the meter bracket reinstallation issue and they had also charge me for a $45 dollar pressure switch $350.00. I had to report it to the Better Business Bureau. Lesson learn. I suggest not doing business with this company. read more

They charge very hefty inspection fee just to come to your home and look at the problem. But they do not apply that fee towards the cost of the repair. I can understand them taking that fee. If you have them come out tell you what's wrong and then don't wanna fix it But if you allow them to do the work that inspection fee should be part of the total cost of the job. I would never used them again for HVAC maintenance. Their staff are trained to find something wrong with your system everytime they come out. Their goal is to upsell you repair services for parts that may have several years of performance left. I believe they are an unethical business. I negotiated with Elevate on the purchase and installation of a new HVAC system. There were several red flags that led me to decide not to do business with them, including 1) very high price estimates tied to mysterious discounts and an unbelievable sales pitch for an "industry leading 10 year dealer's warranty"- Their final price after over $5,000 in discounts and credits were applied was still several thousand dollars more than other contractors were asking for the same thing. 2) The paperwork they wanted me to sign and support with a hefty deposit was characterized as an "estimate". It had "This is not a contract" and other language in the text that would have given me no legal recourse if Elevate violated the terms in the "estimate", 3) Their answers to my questions about their warranty included false statements about Florida state law. read more

I used elevate today because another carrier dealer in the area wasn't to my satisfaction for a repair. I didn't expect elevate to come out as fast as they did and I didn't expect them to be able to solve the problem as fast as they did. It was all under warranty. But the key thing with this company was complete transparency. Full explanation of each charge. Full explanation of the entire process for them to serve that warranty out for you. And just for information, I knew ahead of time the answers to all those questions. read more

We were part of Aleco but they are now part of Elevate. Elevate inspected our AC. We had follow-up questions about the inspection plus an estimate the inspector gave us for additional work. I called their office 3x in two weeks and was promised that a supervisor would call me back each time. The response? Crickets! Zero calls. Lousy customer service. My husband was being beyond fair and conservative in his review. Complain about it taking months to repair an ac unit (multiple trips to our home and different techs & they offer a partial refund on the $900 labor only bill...(after they saw his review of the company), they deposit refund in our account and bam next day it disappears. So yet again not really trusting their "word" Don't expect them to communicate with you what's happening with the repair...you will have to stay on them for answers because they won't communicate to you what, if anything is happening. It took months to repair our unit, they repeatedly blamed the manufacturer...even tho we kept getting mixed answers on the problem from the company. "Oh the other part is on the other truck" well that's interesting because in the same visit he also said we will have to order that part. They also offered a year maintenance ....I'm sure they won't stand by that either. They offered that trying to "change our minds about their company" I am not impressed. And considering they took the partial refund back for crap service why in the world would I ever consider trusting this company again? I had Elevate Home Services do a tune up and maintenance on my home AC unit on April 24. I was able to schedule the appointment and the Tech called and arrived on time. I can't remember his name but I was pleased that the work was done professionally and thoroughly. I am an Engineer by training and this tune up did more than I have had done on my AC in 10 years. He worked on the inside unit and cleaned, drained, measured all electrical parameters. He also did a thorough service and check on the outside unit. I had several questions and asked if I needed a "hard start" capability added. I described the problem which happened rarely and he said I did not really need that but call if anything happens again. He did not try and upsell any of the things that most companies do. He documented both in writing and in writing all the work he had done. In addition there was a coupon I could use and the cost of this visit was very reasonable. I wont hesitate to use Elevate again and I highly recommend. 5 Stars + read more

I am not sure if I would say they are great just yet. We had used Giffith AC for years and they sold out to this company. I have only had the A/C serviced so no real issue with that. The guy did show up on time after having to reschedule the first appointment due to a miss communication and a staff meeting. I will still call for repairs as long as I am happy with them. I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, but I reached out to the local office for help and got nowhere. I attempted to contact the corporate office, but it was not easy to locate once you are locked into the local office. This was our first interaction with Elevated home services. The company we had been using sold out and the owner retired. Elevated took over. They sent a nice notice and we set up a time for them to do our service. The technician was scheduled to be here between 8:00 and 10:00 A.M. When I did not hear anything by 11:00 A.M. I called the office. I was informed that they had a meeting for all technicians that morning and then they had an emergency job to do. "How come no one let us know", I asked. She said the technician would call thirty minutes before he came. I told her that I had been waiting all morning. She said go do what you want the tech will call thirty minutes before he comes. She seemed to think this was perfectly fine. This is not the way I am used to handle scheduled appointments. Chis the technician did not show up to after 1:00 P.M. He did a good job as far as I can see. Certainly not his fault but not a good way to be introduced to a new company. read more
