We tackled some short hills nicely. How do you know you can take on these hills? Well there would be tire paths which means its been done before. I picked up a beast of a bike at the shop and headed out into the desert for a day. The only things I brought were some long socks, underwear, and T shirt. He had absolutely EVERYTHING you could need down to the camelback hydro backpack. There is terrain for all levels in the Tonto National Forrest, which is practically out his back door. I think the only thing I would do differently would be to bring someone with me. I was a little nervous about wrecking or getting lost out there, but neither came close to happening. Maybe it was for the best that I was a little conservative anyway. The scenery and wildlife were stunning and I'm still moved by the experience. He explained everything and what to expect. I booked the three-hour rental, which is recommended for beginners. We drove to the address in Wickenburg, AZ that Doug provided and Doug was already there waiting for us. After a quick intro, my husband, son, and my son's friend hopped in Doug's truck. Doug instructed me to pick them up in the same spot three hours later. I explored downtown Wickenburg and got breakfast while waiting for the guys. Almost three hours later, I received a text that they were heading back to the meet-up spot. The guys had a blast. They let me know that Doug went over the rules and safety precautions before they got started. He stayed with them the entire time and guided them through the trails. Taking the New Rider Course was one of the best experiences I've had. Before this class, I had…read morenever ridden a motorcycle or even controlled one. Walking in on the first day you meet your instructors, meet the bike, and before you know it, you're riding a motorcycle. As a first-time rider, it can be scary. I actually had to take the course twice, but that wasn't because of the instructors, it was because I needed more confidence. Both times, the instructors were incredible. Natalie and Mark were patient, supportive, and never made me feel discouraged. I truly can't thank them enough. What also surprised me was how welcoming everyone at Harley was on the 2nd day they give you a tour around the shop. Jerry would pop in every now and then crack a joke, and Jazmine from service was always available to answer questions and help with anything motorcycle-related. The course is structured really well. Day 1 is all about getting comfortable with the bike. Day 2 is where your confidence and riding skills really start to grow. By Day 3, you're graduating and realizing how far you've come in just a few days. At graduation, they have you ring the bell, which is a really cool moment. They also introduce you to the Harley community, including events, advanced rider courses, and bike rentals. Even if you're not buying a bike, they're happy to answer questions, help you find parts, or point you in the right direction. Overall, this course gave me the skills and confidence to achieve a lifelong goal. If you're nervous about riding or thinking about getting started, I highly recommend it.

We rode in to Sedona from the Grand Canyon on an Eaglerider bike we picked up in Scottsdale. There…read moreis not much on the north rim, so waking to a flat tire was not a great start to the day but Luck was on our side. it was a holiday so the only gas station was closed, but the owner just happened to swing by so opened up to give us air. After filling the tire, we were off to the next station for air, and the next, and the next...you get the picture. When we arrived in Sedona luck was with us again. We met Mike at Eaglerider Sedona and our troubles were over. Mike had one tire in his shop and it just happened to be the one we needed! His mechanic Chris, repaired the tire and did a complete check on the bike Giving us confidence the rest of our ride would be trouble free. What did we learn? If you want to rent a Harley do it in Sedona! The care and attention they pay to their bikes, making them safe and keeping them in great condition, along with there exceptional customer service ( thanks Mike for the discount rate info on the Marriott and thanks Steve and Chris for the great ride ideas). They are far superior to Scottsdale where we left with a low tire that turned in to a flat. Thank you Mike, Chris, and Steve for making our trip end on a high note rather then a "flat" one! Want to mention how awesome my experience was with Daria in service…read more Brought in my bike after being in a hit and run and although damage was superficial she has technicians go through the bike thoroughly, and made sure to give me a ton of options regardless of bringing it in to Buddy Stubbs for the repair and made sure to go the extra mile. Also being able to prioritize and squeeze me in the schedule quickly for insurance was very much appreciated. I just want to mention that this continues to be my experience at this dealership regardless of the department. Every staff member I have interacted with here from my experience wants to make sure you have the best experience possible and enjoy your bike and the community and this is the main reason this is the Harley dealership I choose to go to when I need OEM / OEM service, or buying a new bike.
