The food was, as usual, absolutely amazing. The elote chicken wings were delicious and an amazing combination of flavors. The Patatas Bravas were delicious, preserved Schrimp had an amazing sweet and savory was to them. Empanadas were great for a change up, but the absolute show stunner as always was the Fried Shishitos that we specifically came here for. They've only gotten better since the first iterations. The Tomato jam was a winner when the roulette hit and I got a shishito that was pure fire, there always one it seems but damn were they good. Service was on point with the bartenders hiking it up, I believe Jacob was our point guard but it's a team game here in service. The Espresso Martini needs to be tried by all!! I booked a culinary experience for my hubby and I. I find it difficult to eat out a certain places due to a life threatening shellfish allergy. No problems whatsoever ever here. I booked a wine pairing and cooking class with Chef Brother Luck. Being a sommelier and a foodie, as well as being an amazing home chef I am extremely picky. The wine picked to pair with the food was perfect. The food demonstration was easy to follow, and exceptional. The food I can't say enough, one of the best meals I have eaten in a very very long time. The staff all very attentive, the sonm on duty went above and beyond recognizing that both my hubby and I enjoy the finer things in life and let us taste different whiskey and white port that was divine. The overall vibe and decor were really cool. I love how there were tv's but no sports the art was great, just a fun place to eat. read more

We had three small plates (ribs, pork "puffy" tacos, and shrimp) along with the paella for two. The ribs were a bit dry but still flavorful. The shrimp were well cooked but lacked enough sauce. The tacos were juicy but bland--no heat, and the pickled onions lacked acidity. The paella was the best dish by far. They skimp on the drinks. I had a local IPA served in what was probably an 8-ounce glass, and my wife had a cocktail in a small glass mostly filled with ice. I don't mind paying for pricey small plates if the food is equally elevated, but that just wasn't the case here. read more

Stopped by here on a food/cocktail tour, so admittedly our stay was short. However, they left an impression! The tempura shishito peppers really packed a punch where flavor was concerned. Omg, so so good! The menu is limited but I appreciate that. Every single item has been carefully thought out and the attention to detail is present in every bite. The meats are flavorful and I love that they use blue corn tortillas. The flavor profiles are layered and so fulfilling. The restaurant itself is trendy and beautifully decorated, with lots of great art and several "selfie" spots. The service was fantastic, the chef himself brought out our dishes. Orders were taken promptly and the food arrived quickly as well. Highly recommend this place for small-medium size parties. There is also a lovely bar with tons of cocktail options. read more

First time visiting and we had a splendid time. The food is excellent and the service is really good. Short of 5 stars for me as some of the dishes weren't perfect. The octopus dish was pretty tough and we learnt that's pretty rare and due to the octopus that they got that week. They offered us to get something else so we got the garlic shrimp instead which was exceptional. The albondigas was flavorful, esp the sauce but the meatballs themselves were quite tough. Not sure if it's how it usually is but still a good dish. The paella was super tasty and I loved the crispiness of the pork belly. The portion is big, can feed around 4. The sweet potato tapas were amazing!! Loved the caramelization and crispiness of the potatoes and the sauce is a good complement. The churros were good too though I wished there was more filling. It tasted a bit different than other churros I've had. It's quite airy but still good nonetheless. Also the tapas portion is bigger than typical tapas so I was happy with that given the higher price point. I asked for a mocktail being a tee totaler and they made something up for me which I really enjoyed. Overall I'd recommend visiting, great place for a dinner out with friends, date night etc! read more

Outstanding Latin food with craft cocktails and fantastic service. Came here with my daughter who just moved to Colorado Springs. Man, was this a pleasant surprise! I've eaten all over the world and found this restaurant well among the tops for tapas (or anything, for that matter). It was just THAT good. Had their Siesta Experience ($65) with wine pairing ($35) and it was a great sampling of 10 dishes. Absolutely all of them were perfect. (Note: the 'opener' is a vegetarian pepper plate that is sweet and spicy!) Clear favorites were their tenderloin and pork paella. Fantastic veggie dish was the sweet potato plate (second dish). And don't start me on the two desert plates! Chef made a mandarin blueberry and marshmallow cream something that was out-of-this-world! Full disclosure: I am dairy and gluten intolerant and this place NAILED it. They had to really work to meet my needs, and boy, did they! Well done, my new friends. This was the best food we had in our trip to Colorado Springs. While in the middle of our meal, Brother Luck showed up and personally greeted everyone in the restaurant. We spent some time chatting and he was incredibly friendly and laid back. What sets this place apart is his attention to detail. The drinks are great. Our bartender was nice.. The menu was really cool. That atmosphere is very relaxing. I'm super excited now that they started having jazz musicians on certain nights. I am happy this new establishment is right downtown. I would say it's more classy upscale. I'm not sure what it's missing, but it's missing that something that you can't quite put your finger on it. But they were open a few months when I went. I'm definitely gonna go back a few more times. read more

Best tacos I've ever had! I was hoping to try the shrimp tamale but they were out of those so I opted for the carnitas tacos and they were beyond delicious. The menu is small but intriguing and there were 3 specials. My daughter had one of the specials which was the pozole ramen which was very good, but she had hoped there would be more ramen influence in addition to the ramen noodles. The ambience is cozy and cool and there are TVs for watching sports events. They also have a nice outdoor space for when the weather is warmer. The service and drinks were outstanding! Ordered five tapas off the main menu and everything was so dryyyy that all the flavors were dulled and we were eating for the calories rather than the enjoyment. Did not feel worth the price. Hopefully we caught the kitchen on an off night as all of these other reviews are so positive, but I don't think we'll return for anything more than drinks at the bar. read more

I can't say enough about this place. We walked in as a party of eight on a Thursday night, and were told they didn't have space to accommodate us. We asked if there's another place within walking distance since we had already parked. With only a slight delay, the host, and our eventual server, Ryan, set up a table for us in the back room. He proceeded to be our bartender and server, and provided excellent, professional, and unhurried quality service for exceptional cocktails and food. We will definitely go back! We went for our 42nd anniversary and it was awesome! The service was amazing, although they need crackers and small forks for crab legs. They said they were going to be getting them.
