My issue wasn't the fact that your prices were only $70 less than a dealer, my issue is that you had hidden fees in your diagnostic. I was quoted $200 for the transmission diagnostic and once you were already in there and I'm already out $200, your guy calls me to tell me it's now gonna be over $500 to open the pan?! I wish you were upfront about that, I would have made a different decision. I was already pretty sure the transmission needed to be replaced or rebuilt, but your guy Kyle said they had to "rule it out" so it was necessary to open the pan. Kyle also told me before they began the diagnostic that you guys do rebuilt transmissions. But then after the diagnostic was done he tried to get me to buy a brand new one and I told him I wanted a rebuilt, he said they don't do that and that would have to look for one. That makes me mad because I was lied to in the beginning. During my conversations with Kyle when he kept trying to get me to spend more money on other services, he would say "we are an honest shop" I feel like if you really are an honest shop, you don't have to keep telling people that, very suspicious. Kyle kept miss quoting/informing us and had to call us back to tell us he was wrong in the way he phrased things and blamed that it was only his third day on the job. I don't believe that at all, there's no way it was only his third day. He was very good at the spiel/sales pitch. I'm just warning everyone out there to watch out for the hidden fees. At the end of the day, I paid $600 for a diagnostic... absolutely ridiculous. read more

I had Elite install a diesel motor, transmission and transfer case in my 2003 GMC 2500HD. Matt was my service advisor. He explained all costs clearly and gave a time-line for the repairs that was reasonable and accurate. As the mechanics delved into the project, small things came up. Matt clearly explained the issues and we were able to resolve them quickly. Once the work was complete, I picked up my truck and took it for a test drive. It handled as if I'd just driven it off the sales lot. Elite, from Matt, Dan and Stephen and all the others did a terrific job. The pricing was fair and my components are OEM with GMC's warranty. Having moved here from IL. about two years ago, one of the challenges was to find a GOOD!! auto repair shop. My car is not of the norm and requires a true master mechanic. After looking into many shops ( most were afraid to even look at my car ) I found "Elite Automotive" on Yelp. I called to inquire as to if they would be able to work ( confidently ) on my vehicle. Mark the service writer, ( after I described my vehicle and the problem I was having ) said..... Sure! When would you like to make an appointment? I then made an appointment and dropped my car off. Their's is a very busy shop and they won't able to get to my car that day but Mark called me, apologized and said it be in the shop first thing the next day and I would have a diagnosis and price to do the repairs by noon. He also assured me that my vehicle would be kept inside overnight. Mark was a man of his word and contacted me at 11:30 AM and explained what my issue was and how much it would be to repair. ( parts & labor ) I'm happy to say the price of the repair was ( to me ) very reasonable. I was very impressed overall ( for my first visit ) and will be returning with any issues and general maintenance that I have with both of my cars. read more

Our motorhome broke down while out of town over the weekend. My husband was unsure of whether we could still drive it or not. We tried called mechanics in the area we stopped, but then decided to contact Elite. It was a Saturday evening and didn't expect to hear anything until Monday, however, Rob called us on SUNDAY giving us the info we needed. My husband had some other questions on Monday so called to leave a message as it was after hours and Rob answered the phone! We have since had the motorhome towed to his location, had him fix it and are very pleased. They have been very accommodating and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them! read more

I took my motorhome to them to fix a front air suspension problem. Also to check if there was a problem with a brake line leaking. They had the coach for a number of days. They called and said the coach was fixed. I paid a $1900 bill. They had left oil and grease on the steering wheel, dash, door, carpet and the floor. They left the coach outside for the entire time that they had it with the door unlocked with my personal items inside. Took the coach home. The next morning the front suspension was just as before. The problem have not been fixed. The exhaust pipe had been damaged, the fiberglass at the exhaust pipe had been damaged and the mud flap was all but destroyed. I was able to straighten most of the bends out of the mud flap. Took the coach back and showed them part of the air leak problem. Gave the the part number and where to get the replacement air bags that I found to be leaking. They kept the coach for over another week. When I picked up the coach the exhaust system was still all bent up. Oil and grease on the steering wheel, dash, door and floor. Another $3200 bill. Took the coach home and the air suspension leak still not fixed completely. Took the coach back again and they tried to tighten a fitting that was thought to be leaking. They still would NOT acknowledge that they damaged the exhaust system, fiberglass and the mud flap. I even told them how they have bent up the exhaust system and their employees saw it happen when the shop manager was backing the coach into the shop. They still denied doing all the damage. Took the coach home again and the leak has still not been fixed. I have NO faith that they will ever be able to fix this problem. This issues requires someone that is willing to take some time to find the other spots that are leaking down overnight. They do have have the time to completely fix what they have been paid $5000 to repair. It cost me almost $800 to fix all the damaged parts in the exhaust system. I was told to not contact the office manager to try to get this resolved as the owner would contact me to work something out. I have been waiting for over three (3) months and have heard NOTHING from anyone. They don't seem to care about doing a complete and correct job after they have been paid! The warning to other high end motorhome owners is to stay away from Elite Automotive. They have no regard for customer property. Don't be surprised that there will be oil and grease all over the interior of your coach and that there will be damage done to it. They are not capable of fixing air suspension issues. So I was trying to save some money. My car was due for its 60k service. Subaru quoted me $1,251.00, I should've just went there. Anyways, when calling Elite Automotive, Mark seemed very candid and eager to help, so we came here. Dropped the car off around 10am and never received a call from Mark. We actually called after 4 hours (around 2pm) and we were told they were still looking at it. We just decide to leave and head to EA and finally we received a call from Mark. He says the estimate is $1,481.00. Just to get my car inspected by them was $180.00. After getting to the office and looking at everything, parts came to about $373.00, while labor was $1,027.00 approximately. I knew then I should have just went to Subaru. I said that out loud and the receptionist and Mark heard. Mark actually said they were nowhere near as pricey as Subaru (even the receptionist shook her head in agreement). The price for everything with Subaru came to $1,050.00 - I had a coupon and they helped me out by removing services I didn't need. I really regret ever taking my car to Elite Automotive). I'll be sticking with Subaru. Thanks. ____________________________________ The reply below is not correct. The paperwork I have from both EA and Subaru reflect this fact. Again, the dealership did way more and for less. At the end of the day there was a difference in total and I wasn't overcharged. The customer service at Subaru was also quite superior, they really helped me. To be clear, I didn't suggest services I didn't need be removed, my service manager did that for me. The owner is super nice and they are one of the few places in town to work on specialized vehicles but I've been in for two services and both times a day later one of my service lights has come on. This last time it was my oil light and I had an oil change! Checked my oil and it was LOW. WTF did they charge me for??? First time my car didn't have coolant or wiper fluid. Brought my truck in to have my blower motor replaced and they ended up fixing all of my electrical issues in the process. Turned out I had corrosion on the ground that they diagnosed(my radio deck didn't work right, my anti theft kept tripping leaving me SoL for 10 minutes which they didn't know about nor did I mention). This reviews for the front desk service I had this morning. I did not actually have the car serviced so I cannot speak to quality or cost. On Friday January 22nd I called looking for an estimate on repair on my Audi Q5 since I had a Coolant leak. Joe answered the phone and since it was on speaker Rob chimed in to identify himself and comment. I told them the issue, explained that I would be traveling to Idaho very soon and needed it resolved quickly. They were very nice and explained what would need to happen with a diagnostic they did themselves since they were not comfortable relying on what I received from the Audi dealership. I saw their logic and ask for an appointment to bring in the car. Robb said bring it at 8:00 a.m. He advised that if I somehow could not make it then to call the number and it would roll over to his cell phone over the weekend. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. and reconfirmed how long it would take for them to do the diagnostic. Joe again confirmed it would take about an hour and a 1/2 and he would know something around 9 or 9:30 a.m.. My husband and I said OK and then went off to have breakfast, returning at about 9:37. It's raining and we could see the car hadn't been moved at all. When I walked into ask what happened Joe told me that they hadn't gotten to the car yet, he didn't know when they were going to get to the car, but I was going to be one of the next ones in and when ever that happened it would take approximately an hour. I was upset. I Had an 8:00 a.m. appointment and it was going on 2 hours and no one had even looked at the car. Joe could not give me an answer about when they even would work look at the car And he didn't ask anyone for any type of time frame. I decided to take my key and leave because I couldn't wait around indefinitely And frankly I wasn't getting good customer service. Joe really didn't make any Attempt to find out any information, he just handed me my key and said good bye. I tried to contact Rob when I got home. I identified myself when Joe answered and he said Rob wasn't available. Another voice in the background said Rob had just gone camping and would be gone for awhile. Period. No "is there someone else who can help you?" No...nothing. So I decided to take my business elsewhere. Its unfortunate, but if this is the type of customer care that I was going to get starting out then I couldn't be comfortable bringing my car in for actual service and get the same nonchalant, lack of concern attitude. read more

The staff at Elite Automotive are honest, patient and kind. We were on a road trip and had car trouble on the way to Vegas from LA. After an awful experience at a Ford Dealer- they said they couldn't fix my car for 6 weeks, leaving us stranded. I called Elite Automotive at the end of the day in tears, and Rob said they would see my car first thing in the morning. We met the service manager Joe the following day and they checked out my car right away. It turned out to be an easy fix, a wrapper was stuck in the front grille! I didn't get the name of our mechanic, but he quickly found the problem and tested my car out to make sure we were good to go. Joe also knows a lot of good camping and hiking spots in Utah, where we were going! I wish these guys were in LA so I could take my cars to them for everything. Thank you so much. read more

I am a believer in these guys! We arrived at Lake Mead NV on a Saturday and discovered the AC in our RV wouldn't work. A quick review of the Google listings resulted in no one that would be able to come out until Monday. But we discovered these folks on Yelp. Made a call, got and answer and they said they would have someone out the next morning. Sure enough Derick showed up and after a review of the system he discovered the compressor was frozen and we'd have to get a new one but he wouldn't be able to get one until Monday at 8 and he could be here by 9 to install. He told me what the cost would be so we would not be shocked. He arrived this morning and we contacted our extended warranty company together. He got the ok within 15 minutes and he installed a new unit and we were up and running within 1 hour from the time he arrived. Pleasant, wore a mask for his and our protection and cleaned up after he was done. I think I covered it. They are THE Mobile RV repair folks to call should you need them in the greater Las Vegas, Lake Mead and surrounding areas. Thanks Derick, you saved our asses. Did I mention that the outside temps this weekend hovered around 99 degrees. I'd give you Six stars if I could. read more

I tell Rob what the problem is and he is the most upfront guy I've ever met and will tell me when he can get the parts in IF he doesn't have the specific part in the shop. One thing I have learned is to NEVER bring in my own parts and have them install them - 1) because it's bad business and 2) parts you order online are usually shit parts and won't last. I've trusted ROB for OVER 10 years and he is the ONLY one I will EVER take my cars to! If anyone on here gives this guy and his business a bad review - you probably didn't talk to Rob. They promised one thing and didn't follow it. Here's how it went. Go in for a quote with specific details on what needs to be fixed bc I'm a whole technician myself. They first ask me the question "did you bring set parts for my vehicle issues?" These items i purchased under my hard earned money, time and investigation for. If i came in to replace a part and not a diagnostic test then that should be my issue. Because that cost more than what I asked for. If i go this route I'm exempt off their list to be warranted for replacing set parts, which is ok if you're insured. Well my situation was that i needed my vehicle fixed as soon as possible bc i needed to go to work, uber is expensive nowadays plus not reliable when it comes down to ordering for commuting. So I chose to walk there n back. Before placing my car in their care they insured me that if i brought it in the morning bright and early by 8am, that I basically became first come first served ordeal and will get a follow up call in the afternoon for all requests to be finished by the end of the day. I had to call them an hr before closing to even hear an apology for no update whatsoever but after being put on the back burner after I called to just get a clear estimate on if i was receiving my car that night or not with the idea that they must've been working hard on the car. Come to find out the following week of Monday that they closed on weekends, so everything that i had set fourth got canceled n lost one of my jobs bc of the setback (not entirely on them shit just happened to where things needed to be attended to before i got on the road). If it wasn't for the fact that i needed some parts to fix my car myself I wouldn't have looked for their assistance. On top of my wait though, not only did I get disappointed with the communication, the information disclosure was equally unsatisfying. Found that they didn't even start on my car i was supposedly next, like the last time. So picked up my vehicle bought some tools n started working on it myself. Other than that , great family. Personality wise I'd do business with them if I'm not in need of the vehicle they gotta work on. If I am though, I personally wouldn't put my cards on the table bc of their consistency of not living up to their word. Other than that, great establishment. read more

My mom got some work done on her truck and they messed up the RPM readings on the ECU and it misfires terribly and it didn't do that at all prior to coming in. It was a sound truck and now its useless to us as we cant haul or pull our camper. I wouldn't recommend. read more
