HuSker Auto is a shitty place; they are completely incompetent. They recommended extra work on my truck but never fixed the actual problem I brought it in for. Now the truck is in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I'm furious because they had done great work in the past--that's why I decided to take it there and trusted them blindly; I left it with them based on my previous good experiences. They charged me $1,976. It was a huge amount, but I didn't mind paying it because I was almost 100% sure the truck would be in perfect condition. Now the truck won't even start; the service is absolute garbage. I called in frustration to ask what was going on--explaining that my truck wouldn't start and I was stranded on the highway shoulder--and the moron in the office played the victim, saying, "If you're angry, I can be angry too." The best place in town to go to for your car's mechanical needs! My husband and I love going to Jason and his team. We've been coming here for years. Every experience has always been a positive one, and we only trust him with our vehicles. I've never felt like he was trying to scam me out of money (as most garages do since I'm ignorant to the mechanics of cars). Every interaction has been quick and efficient. Just last night I had to have my car towed after hours, and Joe promptly called at 8 am when they opened. I've came here a few times now. Before now, never had an issue. Until now, a few days ago I got an oil change and the receptionist informed me I needed new brakes and rotors. Which was weird because my brakes weren't even squeaky or showed signs of needing to be replaced and I knew my rotors were fine because the car is practically brand new. The diagnostic test is only free if they fix what's wrong on the car.... So with all the "problems" I had it would cost me $346 and he said that might not even fix my problem... It was even more unprofessional when he was joking telling a mechanic about taking the Beamer out for lunch. What was even worse he was smoking around cars with car hoods up... Idk about that but isn't there a ton of flammable items in a garage full of cars.... If you come across this place and you need something done don't come in. I just left and I feel as if they did something to my car... I couldn't see because I wasn't allowed to watch my OWN car get a diagnostic check... Best place in town for Ford 6.0. The new owner (Jason) knows everything there is to know about these trucks. I had a full cab off bulletproofing including complete lower reseal, studs, egr and oil coolers and all the other related 6.0 fixes done. My granddaughter and I got stranded at Primm as we all know was pretty much in the middle of nowhere the tow truck driver took us to Husker Automotive. Tom the owner was great, he diagnosed that we needed a new battery, ordered it, had it rushed over and got it installed and us back on the road in 20 minutes on one of the hottest days of the year. Unfortunately I had another issue with my car the same day and at one minute to 5 on a Friday the owner Tom answered the phone told me to have the car towed there, to put my keys in the drop slot & he came in at 7 a. M. The next morning (Saturday) to diagnose the problem. When I hadn't called him in a few hours to let him know I had dropped the keys off he called me back to make sure everything was okay. My sister took her car there where she was charged $200 for a diagnosis she had already obtained at a local AutoZone; of which she informed them from the beginning. The $200 was based on manual labor and a smoke test to find a leak, non of which she understood or needed since the reason she went there was to change a failing part. For people who don't understand auto mechanics, I do not recommend this establishment due to the precedent. My own opinion is that she was taken advantage of because of her lack of knowledge. The shop is clean, organized, and comfortable. I own a 2003 Lancer Evolution so I was a little skeptical about taking it to a repair shop vs a performance shop.
