After wearing the brakes on my Audi Q7 down to the metal, Alex was able to fit me in with less than a day's notice. I'm a "Dealer Only" kind of guy when it comes to service. However, my brakes were BAD and supporting local businesses has been a passion for me in 2025. So I looked up options and found Elite Motors OC. After a pleasant exchange, I left the car with Alex and got a ride home to await the bad news. The good news is there was no bad news! Alex called and quoted a very fair price for complete replacement of both front and rear brakes with OEM parts. He also noticed that I was due for service and text me to let me know he could add that to the work being done, once again cheaper than dealer, AND still have the car ready for me on the SAME DAY. Great experience! The only reason this isn't a five star rating, is because we did not discuss parts. I'm not a car guy, but I do like to know my options. However, this is a very small gripe considering how likable Alex is, how much better his prices were and how fast he got my work done. I may have found my new Audi Guy! read more

This dude is shady as fuckkkkk. I brought my car in to get the oil gasket fixed and Freon added to my car. He then proceeds to break my radiator, then charges me to fix it even tho he gave absolutely no warning that there was even a remote possibility of it breaking or that it could be an issue. A simple google search will show that he is absolutely on the hook for something he broke: then gives me my car back in completely shot condition and over heating 3 times in a row: the car never worked again. The car was in perfect running condition when I brought it in. And it never worked again. So after 3000 dollars in whatever he did to it. I still had to buy a new car. I basically paid him 3000 dollars to ruin a perfectly good running car. Then on top of all of this. He tried to accuse me of somehow concocting an elaborate criminal scheme to somehow trick him into breaking my radiator and trying to get free work or something LOL. When I don't know the first thing about cars which is why I was there in the first place... This guy is a complete crook and the absolute epitome of the reason we all hate mechanics. Avoid at all costs. The place up the street by Carl's Jr is great and trustworthy and doesn't burn people like this clown. He still owes me 3000 dollars and if it was actually worth the hassle I would have taken him to small claims. Piece of shit. Reply: nope. It was you. I still have the text thread on my phone of you accusing me of somehow concocting a master scheme to somehow trick you into breaking my radiator while trying to fix something unrelated. Nice try tho. Alex recently replaced my cracked lowers on my front suspension and my car feels more solid with better handling than before. Despite what's going on with with KA, Alex is still there to fix your car. I spoke with Karma America today and their not sure of anything with the Karma. After searching for a local BMW expert, I took my 335i here to get brakes replaced back on 6/24/14. Ended up getting the rear brakes & rotors replaced as it pointed out my rotors were getting a prominent lip on them. The shop is off of Aliso Creek Rd & Liberty where a lot of other car services are offered. After turning in at the light, make an immediate right and go straight back running parallel to Aliso Creek Rd where you'll find it. Parking is right out front. Was met by Alex, the owner, who came off friendly & professional. He's been working on BMW's for 20+ years as a technician at various BMW dealerships, has all of the Bavarian Technic software, tools & know-how to help diagnose and fix issues on our sensitive automobiles. The shop was immaculate. Alex just had the floors redone. Practically felt like you could eat off them. He also had an X5 loaner. I think it was temporary as it was going to be sold, but Alex also offered to drive you home & pick you up if you lived nearby in case you couldn't stay around the shop. There were a few cosmetic items I asked Alex about, which he said he could order and have them in within a couple days. He even offered to drive out to my home and install them there so I didn't have to bring the car in again. Excellent service, highly recommend. read more

I took my car in for new brakes and Alex warned me that I would probably need to replace the rotors. Where do I start? Let's put it this way. I have 2 Fisker's which both where services by Alex Pop. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars my cars always after hours or days after pick up had bigger problems. I later heard that he was no longer official authorized mechanic because he was selling parts that he got free from karma when he was given those parts to help suffering owners like us. I heard from sources from his previous work that he was let go from Stirling bmw for fraud and karma also terminated all communication with him due to fraud. Alex is awesome!. I called on a Friday morning when my check engine light came on. Of course I was a little freaked out and strangely my BMW maintenance warranty had expired the previous day (so I was also a little pissed). Alex said bring it by that day so we could at least see what was wrong with it. Despite being really busy he was not only able to diagnose my car but fix it right away. This was a huge relief as I am moving out of state next week. The cost was extremely reasonable. If I was staying in the area I would definitely go back.
