Today was my first visit for cleaning and exam. Wait time was minimal. Staff was courteous and professional. All dental work is expensive but prices seemed in line with expectations and the dental " insurance" plan was pretty good. Not really insurance but discounted services. I had two extractions and implants with Elite Smiles, not my regular dentist, just for the implants. One went very well. The other, tooth #3, upper right rear, had issues due to proximity to the sinus cavity. The first implant failed due to insufficient bone graft so a second graft was done, implant and crown installed. In less than 6 months the implant had become loose so I went to my regular dentist and xray showed a very shallow bone graft with insufficient depth to hold the implant. I went back to Elite where they removed the loose implant and "patched" the hole so it could heal up. By the next day I had a perforated sinus which ,while not painful, was inconvenient and an infection risk. At this point I decided that I was done with Elite Smiles and went to a real oral surgeon who worked to heal the perforated sinus without surgery and we have a plan for a new implant when I have healed enough. I asked Elite for a refund but they refused as I did not give them a chance to correct the problem. A third try? I think not. read more

Two implants done by Elite Smiles in the front of my mouth are grey colored. I brought it to the attention of Dr. Freeman and they were "fixed" but are still grey and I now find it embarassing to smile. Have since gone to another dentist due to the lack of quality, and he pointed out on my xrays that one of the screws/posts are in crooked and not done well. Do not recommend Elite Smiles. read more

I visited Elite Smiles on 2-26-2020 taking advantage of a new patient promotion. ie Xrays, cleaning and dental examination. After an hour and a quarter, Dr. Steven Freeman came in, looked in my mouth for one minute, look at the Xrays and in three minutes described a treatment plan that included multiple extractions, crowns and a new partial plate costing thousands of dollars. He spent no time asking me for my goals and concerns. When I protested, he became visibly upset and did a poor job explaining his priorities and recommendations. He left and later came back into the examination room, told me he didn't think we were a good fit and escorted me out a back exit. After reading the reviews here about his poor dental work, I feel lucky not to have any further work done at Elite Smiles. You've been warned, if you want professionalism and quality care, don't go to Elite Smiles. read more

I am a retired man living on a fixed income. On May 29th, I went to Elite Smiles for the scheduled removal of one molar tooth (tooth 14). The tooth's removal was to be followed by another procedure to add an implant to my jaw after a three month recovery period. This was a major decision for me due to the financial burden. Prior to choosing Elite Smiles, other dental offices took two X-rays of tooth 14 and neighboring tooth 13. And before my May 29th surgery, Elite Smiles took X-rays of teeth 13 and 14. After the three month recovery period, Elite Smiles took another X-ray before the implant procedure. Elite Smiles then stated that this X-ray showed a major issue with tooth 13. Elite Smiles' diagnosis was that tooth 13 was "dead," and I now needed a root canal and crown for tooth 13 for an additional $2,500. I told Elite Smiles that I cannot afford this additional procedure to tooth 13. But this new hardship was met with no sympathy and no understanding by Elite Smiles. My wife and I went back to Elite Smiles wanting to understand how tooth 13 died when prior X-rays showed no issues with that tooth. We explained that the tooth had been in good condition for close to 60 years and that three X-rays over the last 6 months by three different dental offices never raised any concerns about the state of tooth 13. My understanding is that there needs to be an issue with a tooth's root for it to die. So naturally, I wondered if the extraction of tooth 14 contributed to the issue with tooth 13. I requested for Elite Smiles to review my concerns with the dental office's owner hoping to work toward a solution. Their response was a letter mailed to me telling me to find another dental office. I was a patient in need of understanding regarding what happened to my tooth. Instead of any sympathy or understanding, Elite Smiles did nothing and advised to find another dentist. I find this very disturbing since all three Elite Smile doctors that provided services and evaluations ultimately decided not to care for me, as a patient in need, and showed no sympathy nor understanding after they heard that I could not afford the additional costs. read more

Not impressed! Front desk clerk looked at me like I had two heads when i asked her a question , as did the back office clerk! Pediatric dentist was less than impressive and used scare tactics with me instead of addressing my concerns in regards to my kids cavities. Will not be returning! read more

I'm willing to pay for convenience, comfort, and especially highly trained and experienced people. Unfortunately these people are in it for the money. I brought my son in and was told he needed a few crowns and fillings which would be over 3k. I'm no stranger to the dentist chair so I knew the xrays I was looking at vs. what I was being told was not adding up... I took my son to a different pediatric dentist and the treatment plan was incredibly different, and included only NECESSARY treatments. The cost was also about 2.5k LESS. That is absurd and Elite should be ashamed for trying to take advantage of a patient like that. read more

No- unfortunately you have false advertising on your website!!!!!!!! Is there no dentist in this town working today? The folks at Elite Smiles continue to set high standards for dentistry. I managed to get an appointment right away and upon arrival, I was met with a smiling face and awesome customer service. My technician explained everything in great detail and managed to provide solutions for dental work that was performed at another practice. She even volunteered to call them to ensure she had a good understanding of what needed to be done. Dr Freeman was awesome as always. This is a wonderful practice and I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a new dentist or who has a dentist but would like a better dental experience. I would say dying would be better going near this dental office. They ruined my mouth and my life. Some big thick dumb redneck dental assistance forced a implant crown in my mouth. It took her 15 minutes. Anesthesia had to be as well because of the intense pain. When she was finished is very noticeable that my upper midline had shifted due to all the pressure from the terrible fit. The problem could of been easily solved by reducing the size of the crown. She insisted everything was fine and normal. I was basically in a state of shock. I should of called the police or went to the emergency room. Now after the damage was done, to try to get my midline back, the crown was redone, I had invisilign, and now braces. It's still not back yet. In addition, one of my implant crowns was not properly colored. Attempts, were made to get the color right. At the last visit, I was told they had done there work. Now I look like a redneck hillbilly with multicolored teeth. :-( read more

The dentist is great. He really knows what he's doing and actually explains it before he starts. I had my teeth cleaned first and they showed me on the X-rays and in the mirror the crack in my old fillings. I had never noticed them but once they were pointed out they were pretty obvious even to me. I was a little nervous but the whole experience was great. They did a crown all in one visit. My old dentist made me wear a temporary crown for 2 weeks and come back in a second time. This was do much better. I'm never going anywhere else. read more

We had been going to this dentist right when he moved to the new office. At first it was great beautiful office. They kept changing my dentist then the owner decided to concentrate on the business part. Went in for a extraction because it was a broken tooth. The dentist on one side said we could just extract it or implant. So they sent me across the hall to the specialist and my insurance will not cover a penny for a specialist. The cost 1600 just to extract it and then they said a bone graft, sinus lift etc. I decided to just have it pulled. That was only 100 dollars. The specialist assistant said oh no other dentist will touch it. I said that is funny the dentist on the other side said he would. They are out for as much money as possible. The horrible greed. I heard one lady ask why her bill was more than they told her and they said that the dentist had to work extra hard. OMG. I will never ever go here again. read more

Second Post - first one was removed. Imagine being a patient of a dentist office for 11 years with 5 people in your family all going to them over those 11 years. Against your better judgment, you choose to have a root canal performed by them instead of going to a professional endodontist (big mistake!). The root canal at this dentist's office does not go well. After three months of ongoing pain, you return to them only to have them inform you they aren't sure why you are in pain and they cannot fix the issue. They proceed to refer you to a professional endodontist! That professional endodontist tells you the root canal will have to be redone completely, and it will cost between $1300 to $1500, plus the $200 initial office visit they just charged you. With this information you go back to the original dentist who performed the first root canal, and they very generously offer to pay $775 towards the second root canal! Of course we can't use any insurance because we used up all of our dental insurance on the first procedure. So we are out of pocket a minimum of $725, and perhaps up to $925, to get this root canal redone because the dental office won't fully cover the cost for the rework of the service they performed incorrectly! I have seen Dr. Freeman at Elite Smiles previously and been pleased. Not this time. In November 2017 I went to have a procedure started for two implants. I had a bridge which was cut away I then needed one tooth pulled, Dr. Zambrano was the implant specialist I saw. Dr. Zambrano could not remove the root, it was beyond him, so they suggested I seed an endodontist to have the extraction. I was given names and told to make my appointment. So I did, saw the specialist had root pulled and $700.00 later I was root free. I was told it would be three months before they could begin the procedure due to healing. Seven months later not having heard I called the office and was given an appointment. No apology for never following up. In I believe July of 2018 Dr. Zambrano began and on November 15th I returned for the placement of the abutments, and was told two to three weeks for the crowns to arrive. On January 10th I called enquiring about the delay, was told they left a message December 7th. Never happened, no message on any device received. Again no apology for not following up. Today January 14th I received my two implants. November 2017 to January 2019, is quite a time span. I understand implants do not happen in 24 hours despite the advertisements on television, but I consider 15 months excessive. My other complaint while trifling I will air. Dr. Zambrano never comes around to the front of the chair so you can greet him face to face. If he has an aversion to such perhaps he should find another calling. Caveat emptor: Buyer Beware! Do your research and make sure you know what you're getting into with Steven Freeman. He tried to charge an additional $500 for the Invisalign ClinCheck video. This video comes with all Invisalign treatments, there is no way around it, ClinCheck is what Align Technology uses to communicate your treatment plan with the dentist. Freeman told me it was not included and the video would cost him an extra $500. When doing paperwork, his staff wrote down "Clear Correct" instead of Invisalign; Clear Correct is an imitation of Invisalign. I spoke with 4 other dentists and consulted another one online-- their message was unanimous and resounding: do not do business with this guy, he is either trying to make a quick $500 off of you or he was planning to use imitation trays on you, which has the potential to be dangerous. People, please be wary, please do your research, please ask around. It's very disappointing that you can't trust your dentists these days, but you have to protect yourselves. edit: Your fake reviews on Google aren't fooling anyone, Freeman. I hope people see right through them and right through you. In response to the review posted by "Kyle" (aka Elite Smiles) on Google: There was no deposit because I paid for the treatment in full (it was a $2,999 Groupon that required payment in full). An excuse that the technician gave me, when I confronted her (not sure where Steven was), was that there was a misunderstanding and he must have been referring to Six-month smiles or Clear Correct. In other words, it would cost $500 extra to get a video that shows you what your end result will look like if I chose to use either of the cheaper alternatives (even if that was accurate, that would still be highway robbery). The technician also told me she was wearing Clear Correct, then Freeman walked into the room and told me she was using Invisalign; when I confronted her about it, she said they use the names interchangeably (they are two very different products that differ in quality as well). Nonetheless, Steven was unquestionably referring to Invisalign because he even clarified that we were talking about ClinCheck (only used by Invisalign) and he stated that Invisalign does not automatically make these videos; "They have to be ordered separately and would cost you an extra $500, because they would charge me $500 for it. Do you still want it?" I was told by other dentists in the area that it was definitely a scam. I've told all of my friends and family... I'm just trying to get the word out so you don't get scammed, folks. read more

Best experience and so far three very successful procedures. Started with a teeth cleaning by their very gentle and excellent dental hygienist, Amy. Dr Freeman and his assistant worked on three crowns which are situated perfectly and look just like my original teeth. Feel great too! Highly recommended and worth every penny. read more

I went for an exam which was done not by the dentist but by the dental asst. The dentist sat with me for all of 5 minutes and only asked if I had any other questions the assistant didn't answer. First the 1850.00 is just the start. The crown is extra. 350.00 extra. But I did book the appointment to have the implant done. Unfortunately, the day I went -I got the 4 pages of all the problems that could go wrong and I felt very uncomfortable about it. The dental assistant laughed and thought it funny that I was so uncomfortable about it. She said they had given me these 4 pages before(which may be possible as I did not read everything they had given me on the first visit) I'm a 59 year old woman who doesn't need some 28 year old dental assistant laughing at my nervousness or fear. I DID NOT HAVE THE PROCEDURE. I felt frozen by the fact that there really didn't seem to be a caring of my fears. When I left and spent several days thinking on this - I felt I would rather spend the extra 200- 400.00 bucks going to my own dentist who has shown compassion with me as his entire office has, then go to this dentist who seemed not to give a crap by ever asking me 1 question as to WHO THE HECK I AM AND WHAT BROUGHT ME HERE.
