I broke down on the LIE in November. AAA mistakenly said they couldn't pick up on the LIE, so Highway Patrol called a tow. Phil was the tow operator who came. No one has ever taken as good care of a car of mine. He wrapped each rim in a cloth before inserting the tie down straps so they wouldn't get scratched. He also wrapped the winch cable is his rain gear so it wouldn't damage the front air dam. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and expertise. I live exactly 2 minutes from where my car was sitting, and my husband was turning into the parking lot when they left which was 15 minutes before the hour. I got the text AFTER they left. I want to share a really disappointing experience I've had with Elite Towing. On Thursday, September 29th, I got into a car accident and unfortunately, they were the towing company that ended up being called (not by me). They picked up my car, but when I tried to find out where it was, they couldn't tell me for about two hours. It's now October 1st, and I've been calling them repeatedly as well as my insurance company (Geico) trying to get them to release my car for inspection. They have not done so after multiple calls from both me and Geico since September 25th 2025. This delay and lack of communication have been incredibly frustrating. I love this company. Please note when you get towed using your insurance company, the insurance company only covers a tow within a certain amount of miles from your incident (not where you live). My battery died and I requested a TOW TRUCK on my insurance app. I drive a BMW, when the battery dies the computer stops the connection between the starter and alternator until some magic code is entered. The initial technician thought they could give my a car a jump and destroyed my keyfob (cost for a replacement $270). Keep a pin in this. My husband came with my additional keyfob, the initial technician, yeah I cannot help you and would not call a tow truck. I called my insurance company (forget the app) and Elite was dispatched to my locations. Elite showed up within the timeframe and their technician looked me dead in the eye and said, you know I can't jump your battery. I had a little bit of a rowing fiasco where the place I was towed to told me 2 hours prior that I could bring my car there by 6 and they would work on it. Got thee at 4:30 and they acted like that phone never happened. Elite towing called me to see what was going on and heard the situation and were kind enough to call around to places in the area to find me somewhere that had my tire and that would work on it. Not what I expected from a towing company but what a wonderful experience. My daughter was in a serious accident and elite was called to the accident. From the professional driver to Mary in the office they made a stressful situation easier. I was confused about the process and each time I called Mary calmed me down and explained all the steps. She even remembered by daughter's injury and always asked how she was feeling. My daughter is doing a lot better. It's nice to know that there are still good people out there. I have been in two separate accidents where Elite was called. When the police ask if you want a tow truck called, SAY NO! They will call Elite, who will take your car to a random tow yard on their list (my car was driven 35 minutes away from my house, despite my accident occurring 5 minutes from my driveway). They will hold your car hostage, since they're only open 9-4 on weekdays (you'll have to take the day off work) and closed on weekends. They do not ask where you want your vehicle towed, if you get towed on a Friday, they won't let you get your vehicle until Monday and charge storage fees. They are the most corrupt tow company around, I'd sooner call a toddler to move my car. read more

The driver claims he saw my husband put something in the back of the truck when he was pulling up . That my husband must not have secured and locked it ( it has a twist locking latch it was lock or it does not close ) . On a cold Saturday night, while my son's car was parked, another vehicle went out of control and totaled it. The police called a tow company off the list and notified me. The tow-truck driver refused to tell me where the car was being taken and stated that I should call my insurance company on Monday, as they called and hired him. I replied that my insurance company did not call his company and I want to know where the van is being taken. He then told me to take a photo of the side of his truck, which only displayed a phone number. I had to get the police officer to make him tell me where the car was being taken. Promising pick up every 10 minutes claiming the driver was enroute. That was clearly not the case waited over 2 hours on a Sunday with zero traffic. I am so upset and disappointed with this company.
