Service: Gel Manicure For starters, I must admit I have annoying OCD. I look at every detail. I always look to make sure my nails don't look grainy, clumpy, are fully painted (sometime sides get over looked and not painted), and I always request my nails squared, so I like them straight. As I got my service, I requested some nails to get retouched.( nail polish on sides, straight, and even) she looked annoyed at the end so I just settled. Wish I could give this place five stars for the pedicure that I got and to the attentive person who provided the pedicure, but the poorly done manicure by the other staff made it so that I will not come back. I got gel for my natural nails, and the process was rushed and messily done. Not only was the finish look blotchy with too much gel at the tips and streaky with air bubbles all over, the glitter gel was cured onto my skin. When I asked the manicurist if she can clean off the gel cured on my fingertips and sides, she said all I needed to do was wash it off with water and then went back to her next client. There were so much cured gel underneath my fingertips that it felt like my nails were superglued to my skin. Popped in here to get a quick manicure when I was in the area. Luckily it's a big shop so there was plenty of staff and I was seated right away. They wanted $20 just for a basic manicure (overpriced- I typically pay $12 at places) so I opted for the upgraded $30 gel manicure instead, which is usually the going price these days at nail salons. I was short on time but I was able to get a great gel manicure here in 20 minutes that didn't sacrifice on quality. The place is clean and modern with what appears to be upgraded massage chairs for pedicures. They also tack on an annoying fifty cent surcharge if you use a card to pay (which is not disclosed anywhere). I'm interested to try out their pedicure if I end up in this area again. read more

I count and time the days/weeks I can see Thi to get my gels done because she's that good. I have been to many nail salon places here in EG, just like I'm sure many of you trying to find the best nail lady/tech, and for me Thi is my go- to nail gal. She's not only one of the owners, but she authentically does a good job and is sweet, a good conversationalist, and her gel mani lasts a long time. More than anyone I've tried here in EG. Last time I had a gel mani, it was more than 2 weeks I got my "Snow White" gel nails by the amazing Thi and they were JUST beginning to peel. Most places I went in the past, they start peeling after week one, even if they use the exact same gel polish. I usually use DND or Gelish. Most of the time I get my nails done spur of the moment and she is usually booked so if you want to see her, its imperative you book her. I have her personal #, so this is how I usually do it. Lately, it's just been a few days ahead of time and yes, she is worth the wait. The length the gels last is all about the nail person, not the product. Even though I use Gelish here, dont mean it lasts as long if I use Gelish elsewhere. The prices are decent, $25 for gel however, she just told me they moved a hop, skip away to a new location, so their prices may or may not have changed. The pix she sent of their new spot look lovely. Some bar stools,checker tile, monochrome blacks and whites and greys. I am looking forward to hanging out in her new nail salon. read more

My sister and I went to this shop 3 times. Our first appointment was at 10:00am for full sets of acrylics for both of us. We arrived early and went in since the lights were on. We were welcomed and seated right away. We were very happy with how they came out. They were not too thick and really looked nice. The second appointment 3 weeks later was for fills. We arrived early for our appointment and ended up having to wait! How is it you open at 10:00am and we come in within 5 minutes early and you are already working on others! We were not too happy with this appointment, not only did we have to wait, but after we left we could see several flaws in the work we each had done. We had a third appointment 3 weeks later. Once again we arrived over 5 minutes before 10:00am. This time we had a longer wait! So being seated a half an hour late at 10:30am wasn't bad enough. My sister was being worked on and was getting nicked several times, I had just gotten my nail old nail polish removed and a walk-in came on in the shop. She said she needed to have 1 finger dipped. Vivian who worked on me stopped working on me, went and looked at her nails and proceeded to work on her. She ended up doing ALL of this woman's nails! Someone else came to me a half an hour after Vivian began the other woman, didn't even file my nails at all, did the fill and rushed polishing them. After Vivian had walked away and started working on this walk-in, I turned to my sister and told her I was through, I would not come back here again! You have customers who make appointments for a reason, they schedule their time so they can get things done in a timely manner. It is totally disrespectful to walk away from your client for a "Walk-ins Welcome" customer, even if she claimed she needed a nail fixed and then opts for all of them. When you set up appointments, keep them! Don't take advantage of your current client for a walk-in, they can wait since they didn't have an appointment. I would not recommend this shop to anyone! We are at a different Nail Salon now and we absolutely love them! We are going for our 4th visit and have no complaints what-so-ever. We have found our go-to place!! read more

Show the ladies couples of designs that my gf wanted. Either they don't have the material or someone that can't or do acrylic. Then if you don't have the workers that can then don't offer it. Very displeased with my visit today. Set an appointment for 9:30 am and didn't even start until 10. My toe nails were filed very short and uneven and my nails are not any better. Overall spent about 3 hours in there and still rushed when doing my nails (She stopped a lot to answer the phone and get things they kept forgetting, tried to take their time but still was not very good). My nails turned out far from what I wanted, and came out worse than when I went in and I got it done for a wedding. Then they said they couldn't take card and had to go next door to the atm (that didn't work) then she let me use my card and charged me extra for it. Definitely will not be going back. 2 stars only bc my Pedi was 5 stars.. my Fill was a 3 Star and my eyelash extensions are a 0. My pedi was amazing! The lady who did it was amazing as well. When I first sat down my massage chair didn't work.. a few of their machines are broken. So the lady who was doing a pedi for someone next to me said she would move me to another chair so I could be more comfortable. AMAZING! Bc who wants a pedi without a little massage from the spa chairs... she was the one who also did my pedi and 5 stars all around. I forgot her name but she has a young son. My fill came out decent. Make sure if you want to cut your nails down your very specific how much. She just cut the first one without asking if that length was okay.. which was super short so the rest of my nails are just as short. Same as my nails.... why??? And she didn't ask me what shape I wanted, before I realized I needed to say something my nails came out square kinda duck shaped. And I always go for the coffin style.. no biggie but not my thing. Eyelash extensions for $70 while I was there they looked fine. I didn't overly inspect them while I was there, came home. They looked a little clumpy so I brushed them.. and thought I would let it set.. but woke up with lash extensions looking like I need a full already. They are suppose to be applied as close to the natural lash line as possible. I look like I have clumpy mascara on. DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASHES. She also put 2-3 lash extensions on about 8 or my real lashes. This is very damaging. I don't even want to go back there to have her take them off because if she applied them this way. I doubt she would be able to take them off correctly without damaging my natural lashes. This experience would def make the first time person not ever want to waste their money on this.. but trust me if you go to a place that knows how to do lashes. I'm confused why their reviews are going down. Reading them people are saying they are understaffed but most places don't over staff their employees on a Monday afternoon. I always call ahead and get in, they always work with me to fit me in, the ladies are awesome. Place is clean, they have all of the colors in both gel and regular polish. Tons of the powder (I've never tried that). I love T, she's so sweet. They use fresh tools for each client, removing them from sanitation packet. Walked in and everyone was friendly but I left really upset with my results. I wanted long stiletto nails. I needed a fill my nails were already long and almond shape. She took of the top gel and shaved down my pinky nail really short and coffin like . I told her right away that's not the shape or size I wanted. She said okay and did the same to all my other nails.
