Had an appointment with Le this morning! This place is very hidden in old Elk Grove, but it's a really cute compact space. My friend told me about this place and how they do really good hard gel sets so that's what I initially came in for. I told Le I wanted hard gel so she asked me to show her a picture of what I wanted (pink ombré). Not knowing exactly what hard gel is, I let her continue to do her job. Mid session I asked if this was hard gel and she said no she could only do pink ombré with powder. I was a little confused but I let her go on anyways. Le really took her time to shape my nails and made sure they were perfect and I really appreciated it. Even though I didn't get the hard gel, I can't really complain because she did a great job on my nails. Next time I hope to try out hard gel! read more

This shop is pretty hidden but worth it when you find it. There are signs directing you into the area though. This shop is kept very clean and are very accommodating. I don't believe they take walk in clients so it may be best to call ahead for the best time to be seen. Both technicians are amazing and are very diligent in their techniques. Nail technicians are hard to come by because I've been to a few dozen of them myself and I will definitely be coming back here! read more

My first time getting fake nails and i love them! I came in thinking of something else but Kelly helped steered me towards what would be best for me. I got a mani pedi, her mom did my pedi and she was so gentle (I've had a pedi once and the lady was so rough! ). Ill definently be coming back when i plan to do my nails again (or get them off). My nails are one of my biggest insecurities. Theyre stubby and manly and i would be so envious of other girls who had "normal" nails. I've been searching far and wide for a place that does hard gel! It's like an overlay and then gel polish goes on top, instead of doing acrylic. KELLY is my go to nail gal! My nails are always done to my liking. She's super quick and knows what she is doing. I always leave satisfied as I trust kelly with my nails. On the other hand LE is superb when it comes to threading/waxing. She has been threading my face for quite some time now. I'm super happy that she is now closer to me. On the plus side she too does mani,pedi and artificial nails! This place is very clean and that's always a plus when getting your nails and toes done. I got acrylics done for the first time and I'm glad Kelly was the one who did it! My nails are absolutely perfect! I got my appointment via yelp message and was able to book the time I wanted. She also responded to my message in a timely manner to book an appointment the next morning. Usually at other nail salons my cuticles bleed and it hurt, but Kelly was so gentle and the experience wasn't painful at all! She also carries the holographic chrome powder and it's an extra $5. This place is a jewel hidden in a corner in Old Elk Grove. But you'll be glad you came. First time I walked into this place, it had such a nice atmosphere. Very clean with calm and relaxing music. Came to get Gel nails done and Kelly is awesome! She is what you call a perfectionist. Very outgoing and easy to talk to. Been a client for years and she always knows what I like. And while I have seen her work, she is very quick and accurate. Also cooperative and listens to her clients. They also do eyebrow threading and waxing here. Omg! I had Le do my eyebrows and I love them soOo much! She would wax and then thread. It doesn't get cleaner than that. It looks very natural. Ever since I had a bad experience at Eyebrow threading by Preet (see my other review) where she left a bald spot under my eyebrows, it took months to grow back and I had a hard time trusting anyone again. But Le did such a wonderful job, It didn't hurt and she cleaned and reshaped my eyebrows back. I don't think I am going to trust anybody else but her. Thanks ladies! read more

Still believe that Kelly is the best in town!! Nails are always expertly done and they last!! (I usually go 3-4 weeks between fills and have NEVER had lifting!) This salon is hidden in a plaza, but not too hard to find. Requested an appointment & they had a spot available an hour from my request. Score! Le did a great job on my nails. She was meticulous & made sure I was happy with the shape & length. Minus 1 star because she nicked me hella times, but my full set came out amaze! I couldn't decide on what color I wanted. The young woman who did my friends nails was a sweetheart and did a great job. The woman I had was rude and did an awful job on my nails. I came here based off of the good reviews. I wasn't going to even leave a review since I love to support small businesses but every time I look at my wedding pictures and my nails look horrible. They are lifting, thick, and shaped awful. Straight up UGLY. I cringe every time I look any pictures with my hands. The lady who did my nails has outdated techniques and can't draw modern designs. I had shown her a picture before she began working on my nails, she said she could do it no problem then when it came time she tried to draw the lace design and couldn't so she kept trying to do a 90s style Hawaiian flower on my Nails. She was visibly angry when I told her that I didn't want the design she had drawn. I was very patient with her. If she would have said no to begin with, I would have asked for something different. My friends experience was nice but considering that I was the bride I thought I would have had a good time. I was so upset with my experience here. read more
