She confirmed what we wanted and told us to undress. Finally under the covers and she is about to start then says "you know it's $120 right?". I'm like wait. I was told $120 for 2 hours. We're going half hour less, why does this cost the same? And why wait to tell us this when we're half naked under the covers about to start?! I explained that's not what we were told and she proceeded to act like we can't afford the difference. The $20 difference wouldn't have mattered if we were told upfront. I would've understood. Mistakes happen. But don't wait til we're half naked to tell me the issue or act like it's our fault. Normally I would've taken that and said go ahead but the way she talked to me was so demeaning I told her we were out. We walked out and the receptionist asked if we were ok. Umm No. I explained to her and she said well I told you to wait. Ma'am. Your masseuse called us. Maybe if it was a mistake on your guys' part. Start with accountability?? The knee jerk reaction was to blame us when we're only following their employee?? We get massages often and this is the first time I've ever walked out of a massage before it started. I walk in and there are two employees working on massages, the front desk woman was a very friendly older woman but seemed confused when I walked in. She called somebody -they spoke in Vietnamese and then the woman on the phone told me it was no problem that they would do my massage. We walked to the back where the private rooms are and there was a man laying on one of the clean beds on his phone, they got his attention, they continued speaking in Vietnamese and then he led me to my room. I said I needed to use the bathroom because I wanted to check and see if there was any red flags that this place might not be on the up and up. I walked to the bathroom and an older gentleman and the one female employee that was working was walking out to the lobby, he was glowing, literally all smiles, must've been a good massage. I use the restroom come back into my room and I'm told to undress, I didn't realize they were having an older gentleman do my massage, so I kept my pants on out of comfort. Bless this man's heart but he was no masseuse, he might as well have been rolling Tonka trucks up and down my back, he had half my butt cheeks hanging out because he was trying to get my lower back but it was awkward because he's a man. He kept massaging really rough and I would correct him and ask him to please go softly, he would for a minute or two and then go right back to being rough again. He just didn't know what he was doing. When he started working on my lower body I noticed that he was folding my legs in different positions so that he could work all the inner, outer, just every part of my thigh, my butt cheeks, everything. He wasn't groping me, but he wasn't hesitating in the least to give my glutes and my inner thighs just as much attention as everywhere Else. After everything was said and done, I came out to tip him, they spoke in Vietnamese a little more and then the woman said next time I should take my pants off so that he can really do a good deep massage. I'm thinking to myself, if I was just in underwear with all of the funky positions that he was putting my legs in, spreading them apart, butterfly position I mean you name it, there's absolutely zero way I would've been comfortable with that. So just note you might get a male masseuse, who clearly isn't a masseuse, and if you are stripped down to your underwear you better hope that you're solid to be sitting in butterfly position. If you know you know lol. Before I left another middle-aged man walked in, handed them cash and he asked for the only female masseuse that was there that day by name, she seemed fairly busy with the older gents. Edit: I wasn't gonna mention because I thought maybe I was just being paranoid but I left $10 because the massage was just not very good. I might normally leave $15 or $20 depending on the quality? The amount of effort and technique used, but there was absolutely no way this man was professionally trained. I definitely felt uncomfortable when I left $10 by the woman who was taking my tip for the gentleman. She actually asked me if that was all I was leaving lol. Last night, I went for massage. During the massage session, the therapist stops to answer phone call. She doesn't say anything to me and leaves the room. I lost five minutes from my session. On top of that, she massages only for 40 minutes. I looked at the time when she started and ended the massage. Plus she didn't apply enough pressure and used her elbows mostly. They definitely lost me as their customer.
