Came here after a minute to see if the food still holds up. This is a mom and pop operation that has been here for years. Decided to get a cheesesteak and cheese fish subs with an order of fries with brown gravy. The ambiance is homey and comfortable. The staff of three (Ma, Pop, and another young lady) are pleasant. The cheesesteak was heavy, fresh, and good. The cheese fish was good with fish filets cut in half to fit in the sub. The fries were hot and fresh and with that side of brown gravy, awesome. They also have other sandwiches and subs and their breakfast options are good as well. There is plenty of off street parking in front if the place as well. All in all, a great place to grab a lunchtime sub or sandwich. read more

Our neighbor told us about this place and we've been trying to get there. We usually want subs for dinner, but they close before the dinner hour. We finally stopped on a Saturday after a day of washing our cars to pick up lunch. We decided on a cheesesteak sub with gravy fries. It stayed nice and hot on our trip back home. The fries were crunchy, gravy was beefy and the steak was very tender on the sub, not to mention there was a lot of it! The proprietors are the nicest ever! My daughter and I decided to try this place out today and as soon as we walked in, the ambience is primo, the lady behind the counter greeted us like we've been there million times before. Although she was wearing a mask, you know she's smiling at you. Very, very nice! The food was, how can I put this one...bruh! By far, the best cheesesteak outside of Philly. It actually has flavor and not overpowered by the condiments on the sandwich. Fries are fresh, clean and crispy...perfect! The gravy is to die for! If someone has to twist my arm to say something negative, it would be the moist (not soggy) bread, but that's because of the condiments, and this is just being too critical. Also, she gave me a fork for my cheesesteak, its been a while since someone put a utensil with a cheesesteak order, and you would definitely need it. Some sub shop around the area has been stingy with their meats lately. I get it, cost cutting and what not, but this place still does it right. I live in the area and never saw this place until recently. The reviews on yelp are pretty accurate for it. Great cheesesteak and nice owners! Oh it's cash only by the way!! It looks a little rundown from the outside and inside is basically a convenience store. I was greeted by one of the owners (assuming the couple owns this place) and she was very friendly. Always spoke with a smile on her face! I ordered a cheesesteak and fries to go. They have season on the side if you want to put it on Fries. The food was delicious!
