Portabella mushrooms ordered as an appetizer OMGGGG so delicious

Stopped in tonight for our Friday fish fry. Sorry I didn't take a pic. If you are stopping in and they have the Pretzel crusted whitefish served on a bed of fettuccine noodles I tell no lies! My grandson tried it and said this is the best fish fry ever! Two thumbs up! I kid you not this kid is one of the most Finicky kids that there is. For him to say he likes something it's a miracle. He wants to return and order an entire meal just for him and not share grandma's Kid tested grandma approved Bon appétit

I'm really surprised to see the rating so low of Ella's. We stumbled upon this place once and tried some of the apps. They were delicious! So we decided to trek on another backroad motorcycle ride to try something else and enjoy the fall colors. It was a 50 minute drive and worth it! We tried different apps and they were great! My husband boasted that these are now his top favorite wings. Crispy with charred/grilled sauce giving it amazing flavor. We will be back!

It's a pretty dark, steakhouse, vibe inside with old school Frank Sinatra-esque music in the background. The service level here was perfect, I love a place where the staff plays zone and if someone notices something then they cover it seamlessly. Nick was our server and took great care of us. we tried the following: Drinks - I had a dirty gin martini and my wife had a captain and diet (her go to) and both were perfectly mixed. Appetizers - We were really looking forward to the buratta appetizer, but it had just gone off menu, so we went with the goat cheese that replaced it, which was good (but I would cut down the number of sun-dried tomatoes by 1/3). My wife ordered the onion soup and really enjoyed it. Mains - My wife had the filet and said it was the best she has had in a long while. I am a sucker for lamb and wasn't feeling like a steak, so that is what I went with. Both were amazing and we both had mashed potatoes. Mine also came with carrots with a demi-glaze. Everything was delicious. Dessert - The restaurant was kind enough to serve my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday. It was amazing, but we were so full we could only manage a few bites. Will definitely be back!!

A long time favorite which we do not get to as often. Ir is known for being on the pricey side…read more We had had made a same day reservation on a Friday which I was happy to get. It was an early seating 5:00. We were guided through a fairly empty dining room to the upstairs room. There was one couple already seated in an otherwise empty room. We were seated immediately next to them..... we may as well have been sitting at their table. I not only thought this strange but actually a bit rude. But, I did not make an objection. The food at this restaurant is always good and the wild game selection along with the specials are usually the good bets. In the past the wine list was more cost friendly but still not bad. My only criticism of the menu is the rather limited appetizer selection. Our entrees were very good but overall the experience was stilted by the poor judgement of the hostess serving us.

Today we dined for the first time since the Llazar Konda Group reopened the Belfré in its group of…read morerestaurants, which includes KAVOS, The Beach House Bistro and La Tavola, all in the area. We were thrilled with the familiarity but also with the newness of the menu. As it was far too hot to eat al fresco, we were given a table on the first floor near the window. We had 5:00 reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Mason, was fun and efficient, but he also had to cover the bar so he was running. A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. I would like to know why, but I was too busy enjoying the dish. It is my birthday and so I was offered either a free cocktail or a dessert. I love a good treat so the flourless cake was my choice. It was a very nice birthday present. I really look forward to our next visit. The menu has lots of options I want to try.

Well, I do think it's worth mentioning they were top notch until the end and I hear there's a new chapter (possibly different, but with some of the same people involved) on the horizon. So, if when the new chapter arrives for the building where Belfre Kitchen thrived for so long, you wonder what came before and do these folks know what they're doing? They do. Belfre served up delicious food in a chic, warm, and welcoming atmosphere by servers who were kind and caring. Until we meet again, Belfre!

Per advice from my server, I had the ribs and soooo glad it did! They were perfect and tender with delicious and plenty of bbq sauce! Sweet potato fries were standard. Of the bookmarks I had within reasonable driving distance, Sideliners Pub & Grill intrigued me the most. I ended up ordering the three piece beer battered perch with potato pancakes for the side and wings for an appetizer with half Cajun dry rub and half Jamaican BBQ jerk sauce. I thought it was interesting that the jerk sauce was specifically labeled as "Jamaican BBQ jerk" and it ended up being an accurate description. It was more BBQ flavored than jerk flavored and had almost no heat to it like jerk normal does. The Cajun rub, on the other hand, had great heat and Cajun flavor. The jerk sauce wasn't bad, but my preference was the Cajun rub. In a picture I saw of the potato pancakes they looked like they were Italian breaded, similar to mozzarella sticks. Again, I was intrigued. Unfortunately, the pancakes didn't live up to my expectations. The breading didn't have much Italian seasoning and the pancakes were like mashed potatoes formed into disks rather than more common potato pancakes that are shredded potato flavored with onion. The pancakes were my least favorite part of the meal. The perch didn't taste like yellow lake perch and was probably something cheaper like pike perch. Even though I did like the beer batter, it wasn't exactly was I was hoping for when I ordered perch, but it wasn't bad.

Cute place and good menu with plenty of options…read more We stopped in Delafield for Father's day and it was great weather to sit out at their patio. We all ordered a mix of things but started with apps. The cheese curds were amazing. Didn't care much for the onion strings. It was a surprisingly cold day so opted for some French onion to start out. They use rye bread inside which wasn't my favorite. Probably won't order again. However, the chicken tenders and fries were great. Heard the salmon BLT was very good too. The shepherds pie had a lot of potatoes so not as much filling. The beers were cold though! Similar to Leffs, they don't have beer prices on their menu. Kind of hate that. Otherwise, the service was great, the restaurant ambiance and patio were great and most of the food was good.

I can only speak for the Mother's Day brunch; we went with 6 adults and a child, and for such a large buffet it flowed seamlessly and the food was constantly being replaced to keep it fresh. Large variety of food. Table service was fast and consistent and all of the servers had a positive attitude. Reasonable price per person and all-you-can-eat. Only complaint is that there is no changing table in the small 2-stall restroom. It seems like a small thing but it makes for needing to either lay our small child on a floor mat or going out to the car. Street parking only, but definitely manageble. My parents and their friends really enjoy coming here. Really looking forward to stopping by for lunch or dinner with a drink at the bar next time we're seeing them!
