I love the venue, all good, but the HIFI Pizza experience for dinner was a horrible! At first, I thought: great, you order online from your table, easy peasy. After waiting and waiting, and the show coming up, I went to the counter to ask about our dinner. The staff (who were completely overwhelmed) said I don't know what happened to your order. Then left me. I thought: well, that's not an appropriate answer. So when someone popped out again, I said he needs to tell me what's going on. So then, they investigated and discovered my order was canceled because they ran out of our style of pizza. I didn't get a text, an email, and I wasn't called out by the staff who had my order number. Having not eaten, and the show about to start, I asked if he could just make us any kind of pizza? He said I'd have to order from scratch again. I told him that was ridiculous! I'd been waiting an hour already. He just walked away and said they were too busy. So I ordered again. While waiting, people were standing there confused about their order, no one was at front of house to help, or answer questions. And when a staff member did pop out, they were clearly overwhelmed and not nice. I should have at least received a free pizza or something! So disappointed. They need a front of house manager and to not run out of food, especially when you're planning to eat there and need food to endure the three hours you're spending at a concert that means a lot to you.

I have hired seasoned taco caterers before and was disappointed thus I was searching for a new one. Chef Alberto caught my eye on Yelp, I liked his story about starting his own business while going to school. He answered all my questions upfront regarding his catering experiences, his food safety certification and what services he offered. I liked his taco menu with ala carte add on options, thus I was able to add on 25 bacon wrapped hotdogs for the kids and two jugs of delicious strawberry lemonade and watermelon water. It's nerve wrecking selecting the right caterer because the food is the main focus at all parties. You can't just run out and whip up hot full service meals for 50 adults last minute if the caterer drops the ball. Chef Alberto promised to arrive 2 hours prior to service time. On the morning of the party, he texted me 2 hours & 15 minutes before service time that he was already at the venue and setting up. Not only was he on time, but he was early! Talk about a huge weight off my shoulders. The food (3 meats, salsas, all the fixings, beans, rice, hot tortillas) was delicious, guests were going back for seconds and thirds! The set up and presentation was beautiful and very professional. He provided all the napkins, utensils, plates and cups but I chose to use our party supplies since ours colorfully matched the decorations. LOL! :O) We even had some leftovers to take home!
