She always does my nails but the one time I couldn't make it out to her I had to go to another salon and they messed up my nails badly! It had dirt and bumps on it. After lele fixed them they look better than ever. She trimmed them and cleaned them up. Also pedicures are awesome and relaxing. The ladies are so gentle and the hot stones feel great. I LOVE Elle Bella. I refuse to go to any other nail salon. And here's why: It's a SMALL place. Literally. There are only four pedicure chairs, two manicure stations and a facial room. There are usually only two people working at any given time - the owner, LeeLee, and one of her girls. But they're exceptionally skilled, meticulous, and use quality products. And whenever you visit, it's like visiting family. LeeLee speaks great English and is just a genuinely likable person. She's as sweet as can be, knows her industry; what works and what doesn't. She commonly refers to her regulars as her 'babies'. I always laugh when I stop by. This place is catching on, and that can be a problem at times. It gets busy, especially because it's so small. I have been a customer for over 2 years and I've got to say I LOVE IT HERE!! They recently moved to a new location! It's a few blocks away from the previous location. The place is better, bigger, brighter, and cleaner! The new place has parking in the back in case there is no street parking! But beware the street parking is only 2 hours! The owner Lele is the sweetest person you can meet. I personally call her my chinese mama and she calls me her korean baby! :D She takes her time every time I go to make sure the are perfect the way I want them. She gives suggestions too on how it can look better! She takes her time to train the workers too so they too can be as good as Lele. They clean and sanitize the tubs for the pedicures! One thing about the pedicures is that the prices includes a hot stone massage as well as a scrub! And if you have gotten pedicures done in other places its extra charge. Hana & Vernise usually handle our pedicures and they are GREAT. Very sweet and do a great job. My daughter always like a special decoration on her toe and they go the extra mile to assure she's happy. Very nice nail salon in La Crescenta. I have had very nice manicures and pedicures there. The service is friendly and they have massage chairs, which I love. The price is great for what you get - I love the leg massages that come with the pedicure! My only complaint is that it's often crowded, and even with an appointment, my friend and I had to wait last time (about 10-15 minutes) which was a pain as I had another engagement afterwards. Still, they went out of their way to make sure i had a good experience, even fixing my pedicure (without me asking) after I smudged my big toe on the way out the door. read more

I have been coming here for years!! Leelee does the best gel manicure!! She is so detailed and particular which is why I love coming here. I am a perfectionist and I appreciate when people are doing my nails to be the same way. She is never sloppy and won't let you leave until every nail is perfect. She also has a ton of colors from OPI, Essie etc. I always come for a gel manicure and pedicure which is $40 and it lasts me 3 weeks. Definitely worth it!!! I've been coming to this salon many times for over 2 years and I finally feel like I have the best judgement I could form. To start off, always try to book your appointment with Lily. She does the BEST gel nails, and knows exactly what she's doing! I always go to her when I'm in need of a gel mani. If you want a regular mani or pedi, try to book with her sister Gigi (or Chichi - forgive me I'm not positive of the spelling). She is so sweet & does a great job especially with the massage! One of the greatest part and bang for your buck of a pedicure is sitting on the massage chairs, and when they use hot rocks to massage your legs! On that note, I have knocked off 1 star because I do tend to spend a long time here (for example: an hour just for a regular pedicure), but I guess that's because of the included lotion & hot rock massage, and scrub? My friend waited about 40. Wish we could have stayed together more but still a great experience. Lele was very concerned about making sure we were happy with our experience. I almost gave up on getting gel nails until I met Lily. I have been to 7 nail shops around town. The women were either in personable or dirty. My gels would always break after 1 week. I saw one of my fashion bloggers online mention nail dip (lasts longer than gels) I called Elle Belle and Lily pleasantly answered the phone and told me she had a different technique and she promised my nails wouldn't break. I was skeptical, but it's true. She uses two UV lights and only does a few nails At a time. Her technique may take a little longer but it's worth it! No breakage until I'm grown out. She also gives you gloves to protect your skin under the UV light which is genius and a nice added touch. Lily and her crew and very personable and clean. I feel so sad to write this review because I have been here several times and Lele is so sweet but I just had such a bad experience with my most recent trip :( I went to Ella Bella for a few years when they first opened in the area but my school/work does not allow fake nails so I stopped going. Then they moved and I didn't know what happened to them (even though they were just down the street, oops!) I decided to stop by and try this place out again since I had good experiences when I went around 2 years ago. But I regret it so much :( my nails were so horrible. I even had to get them removed at my usual place and fixed. I had asked for fake tips with gel color on top. But my nails came out so crooked and the gel was uneven and it looked like there were globs on my fingers. There was so much glue all over my fingers too!!! I felt like I was being rushed the entire time I was getting them done. I tried to tell them that it was a little crooked or the shape wasn't right but they kept insisting it looked fine. Maybe there was a communication barrier- I kept trying to ask to fix certain things but I started to feel like I was annoying them. I was being so rushed that they never took the time to ask me if I liked them or not during the process, they just kept working so fast on them. When I stepped outside I saw just how bad they were. I took some pics and you can see how crooked and thick they are. I really feel bad for writing this review because Lele was always so nice to me but I'm just so disappointed :( I've never had nails done like this before. *Clap clap clap* Thanks Yelpers for another great recommendation! I rarely get manicures b/c it comes off so quickly but decided to get one on a whim before Hawaii. I walked in and noticed how small the place was. It was cozy but very clean. There were only two salon chairs and two nail stations. I was greeted very warmly by the owner (who spoke really good English *gasp*) and asked what service I needed. There were a few customers in the place, but I was lucky enough to get my manicure done right away. Let me just say... in all the years I've gotten manicures I've never had it stay on my fingers this long with NO chipping whatsoever. I got it done on a Thursday, and it lasted 10 days+! I would've kept it on longer, but my nail started growing and got white at the base of the nail bed. Literally, no chipping AND it stayed glossy and shiny throughout the entire time! Another plus is the owner seemed to know everyone's name who walked through and was so friendly and sweet. Definitely my kind of place. Highly recommend. read more

This is a GREAT story and I have to thank Yelp for getting me back to the best waxer in the area. I never yelped before, but decided this was worth it to give lele the review. I found Lele magically 3 years ago when I got my first brazilian. It was the least painful experience that a brazilian could be. She used this numbing solution which seemed to make things a lot better. She was really easy about the whole thing and got me out of there really quickly. Unfortunately after that first time, she left the salon for one In Burbank and I had lost her number and couldn't find her online! Until Yelp! thanks to debra above!! I went back a week ago and she was absolutely fabulous, again. She owns her own store and works really late. I called and told her my story and she booked me at 830pm that night... and stayed until 10pm. She has a tv in the room to distract you and engages well in conversation. Bottom line: most painfree waxer you can find, really nice, and very reasonable prices. read more

This nail salon offers a wide selection of gel nail polishes and is relatively inexpensive. They can do some nice designs as well. I've been here about five times and finally had to call it quits for the following reasons: 1. Gel application - they paint one fingernail at time, alternating hands. As you can guess, for three coats of polish, this takes forever and your hands are exposed to greater lengths of time under the UV light. Also, they have some fingertip-less gloves, but don't offer them regularly and frankly they look like they've never been washed. Maybe it would be worth it if the Gel at least stayed on, but it starts peeling after 1.5-2 weeks. 2. Gel Removal. One word: Dremel. They try to cut time by literally dremeling off the gel nail polish and trimming your cuticles with the dremel. Not only is this unsanitary, but they dremeled down too much and left divots in my nail beds, which was painful. I can understand using the dremel to buff the surface and then apply the remover with cotton balls and foil, but using it to completely remove the polish was unacceptable and ruined my nails. The employees are pretty nice and the place is cheap. However, for the above mentioned reasons I'll not be going back, unless it is for regular polish only . read more

Do Not Recommend this place at all - horrible service, sub-standard job on nails and owner is totally disorganized, can't remember her appointments; they claim no appointment necessary but if you try that, then they say " make an appointment". The nail job was unprofessional- had acryllics done and material all over cuticles, thick and not filed with tool correctly, tries to shortcut the job and do it quickly, length is not the same on all nails. Pedicure is also below average, lukewarm cold water, massage of foot is non existent and paint job is uneven. please pay attention to all the other yelpers posting 1 or 2 star ratings, they all have similar experiences. read more
