There have been many times when I brought one of my kids in thinking they would need braces, only for him to tell me that treatment wasn't needed yet--or that we should wait another six months and see how things develop. I really appreciate that he always seems to have what is best for each individual child in mind and never makes me feel like he is pushing treatment that isn't necessary. Each of my kids has had a slightly different orthodontic journey. One needed an expander, while the others have not, which has really reinforced for me that this is not an office where they try to sell the same treatment to every child. Everything is very individualized based on what each child actually needs. On top of that, it is easy to make appointments, the hygienists are always super friendly, and the office staff is wonderful and easy to work with. During the final step of my alignment treatment, he assured me that any remaining teeth movement would occur with the retainers and told me not to worry. We are all very pleased!…read more We were a little late getting her to see an orthodontist - she was almost 14 - she had many stubborn baby teeth not ready to go. There were a very stubborn adult tooth in particular, stuck up in the top of her mouth, with no room to descend, an "impacted tooth," requiring surgery. Dr. Nehi suggested all the possible options for her plan, and we tried the least invasive methods. Eventually, for the tooth in the roof of her mouth, we decided to go with surgery. Many months after the surgery, when the tooth finally descended, it was entirely backward. It was interesting to see how he modified the course of her treatment and managed to turn it around the right way and all the other teeth came in line. Dr. Nehi has terrific bedside manner; he always treated my daughter with respect in regard to patient-doctor consultaion and choices, educating and explaining thoroughly what could be done next.  But then also, Dr. Nehi has a very unique and fun sense of play and optimism. We found him to be engaging and a good listener as well. We also enjoyed his assistants and the women working in front on scheduling. We would absolutely recommend this practice to family and friends.
