I visited Losanti last weekend for a friend's birthday dinner, and we had such a good time. First off, the restaurant is beautiful. It's dimly lit, so it has this really chic, cozy vibe that's perfect for date nights, girls' nights, birthdays, or honestly any special occasion. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away in what felt like a little semi private dining room. It overlooked both the street and the rest of the restaurant, and it was honestly a great spot, especially if you're the type that likes to take pictures before you eat. Now let's get into this food because we ordered...a lot. We started with the focaccia, and it was so soft, fluffy, and cheesy. Definitely enough for the three of us to share. We also ordered cocktails. One friend got a French 75, I had a martini, and I can't remember what my other friend ordered, but everybody seemed happy. For our mains, we basically shared everything. We got the chicken parm, the salmon, and the truffle pasta with the meatball. That truffle pasta? Whew. Absolutely my favorite bite of the night. The sauce was thick and creamy without feeling too heavy, and that meatball was huge and just melted in your mouth. We also ordered the mac and cheese, which I loved. It was made with white cheeses and had so much flavor. I don't know exactly what herbs they used, but whatever they did worked. The Brussels sprouts with pancetta were another standout. They were super crispy, and the pancetta and sauce gave them this little hint of sweetness that balanced everything out really well. We also tried the Little Gem salad, and I loved the citrus from the grapefruit. It made the whole salad feel really fresh. By the time dessert rolled around, we were full but somehow we still found room. We shared the butter cake and gelato, and both were delicious. They even put a candle in the dessert for my friend's birthday and had a cute little birthday sign on the table, which was a nice touch. The service was also fantastic. I believe our server's name was Olivia, and she was great. She gave solid recommendations, kept the food and drinks coming all night, and just had a really friendly personality. She definitely helped make the experience even better. The only hiccup all night was that our room was a little warm. We mentioned it, and the staff immediately brought in two fans, which honestly fixed the problem pretty quickly. Also, shout out to whoever the boss babe was in that crisp suit because she was giving Richie from The Bear in the best way. She came in, handled everything without missing a beat, and made sure we were comfortable. Overall, I cannot stress enough how much fun we had. The food was genuinely delicious, the portions were great for sharing, the service was excellent, and the whole experience felt special from beginning to end. I've heard their happy hour is really good too, so I'll definitely be back to check that out.

5 stars. We will definitely be back. Good service, great food, and a really nice restaurant. We parked in the Gravity garage and had no issues. The margarita was great, the focaccia was soft and delicious, and my filet was cooked perfectly medium well. The mashed potatoes and truffle mac and cheese were amazing. The elote corn was just okay for me, but my friend loved it. Don't skip dessert. The butter cake was SO good. Warm, moist, and served with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. The decor is beautiful too. Even the restroom was stunning. Overall a great experience.

Losanti was worth a visit but what is so hard about a steakhouse in Columbus is the comparables - Butcher & Rose, Jeff Ruby's, Avenue, Hyde Park, The Top and The Barn, etc). Given that, it was worth the try. Parking was interesting and definitely a drive from the Northeast where we live. The decor was dark, intimate and felt underwhelming for a steakhouse. The tables and chairs gave me Wayfair vibes and not necessarily elevated luxury. It did its job given the overall vibe. Let's get to the real good stuff. The service was excellent - from the host, the server to those who interacted with us throughout the night. The cocktails were elevated but, whoever crafted the listed drinks really liked Gin. Gin is less overpowering than most alcohol options and pairs well with most flavors so I understand. I would like to see more variety with use of Vodka, Tequila, Bourbon along with Gin. I stuck to wine this evening given my love for Tequila and lack of cocktail variety. Don't get me wrong, they did have a full bar and assuming they could make anything you wanted. My husband did get the Jalisco and, dang, that was a stiff drink! Flavors were amazing. The wine list was decent and plenty of variety that assuming pairs well with the menu. The food menu is limited and so is the dessert menu. I am perfectly okay with that given restaurants usually execute better that way. I appreciated they had fish and chicken options along with the steaks. We met our dear friends for an extention of a birthday celebration and steak wasn't a desire for a few people this evening. Thats okay because they both had other options to choose from. We started with the foccacia and the cocktail shrimp. The foccacia is a must order! The slight sweetness of the baked tomato sauce on top with the cheese and softness of the bread, just hit. I asked for olive oil and balsamic mixed on the side. Thank you to our server who knew exactly what I wanted. The shrimp cocktail was disappointing. It gave us, let me run to Kroger to grab a shrimp cocktail tray, vibe. They were small. I don't remember what the cocktail sauce tasted like because I was not excited. There were 7 so at least it made up for it. I expected larger shrimp for the ice tray it was presented in. My husband had the lobster pasta dish that was spicey and bland. Hard to explain because the tomato cream sauce just didn't pair well with the delicate lobster. Without the heat of the spice it would have been a hard pass. I got the 6 oz filet cooked medium. They executed that perfectly. A nice medium center with a crust on the outside and buttery soft chew. I threw the truffle butter on top and squeezed some of the roasted garlic to make a paste, spectacular! Good cut and great execution. To wrap up the night we got the butter cake. Our server got the gesture we were there celebrating a birthday. He brought the cake out with a lit candle and we never asked. The sweetest! The cake was soo good and huge. Buttery, slightly dense and sweet with an amazing crispy crust. The caramel Gelato on top sealed the deal. Outstanding! A mixed review for my mixed feelings. Overall a great evening but I am not raving to come back given other alternatives in the city.

We had a reservation on a Wednesday evening at Losanti, and it wasn't too busy aside from a few work dinners, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. We started with the focaccia topped with roasted tomato, basil, and parmesan--such a great way to kick things off. My friend and I also split the Little Gem salad with avocado, candied walnuts, grapefruit, fennel, and champagne vinaigrette. It was the perfect size to share and super refreshing. The restaurant itself is adorable--perfect for a date night or a girls night. This visit felt more like a quick dinner to try somewhere new, but I'd definitely come back for a more elevated, sit-down experience. For our main, we split the rigatoni bolognese with parmesan, and unfortunately it wasn't my favorite--the sauce just didn't do it for me. Next time, I'd love to try the gnocchi with truffle, pancetta, and sage or go for the steak frites. We also ordered the charred broccolini, which was good but didn't totally wow me. I'm curious to try the Brussels sprouts or the elote-style corn next time instead. Dessert was hands down the highlight--absolutely amazing. Honestly, I could see myself coming back just for dessert and drinks because both were that good.

Second time here, love this place. First time we went traditional Italian. I had the chicken Parm and my daughter had the Bolognese. Both are very good. We finished with the butter cake, which was outstanding. Second time in had steak, the fillet and the ribeye. Our server talked me into the Port wine butter, which was a very good idea. Never would've got that without the suggestion, but it made the steak one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the mac & cheese, which was just crazy good as well as the French onion soup which was delicious.

5/5 My wife and I had an amazing experience at Losanti and definitely see why it gets so much hype. We started with the mussels, which were a great way to kick things off. For entrées, I had the 14 oz ribeye and she had the 7 oz filet mignon; both were cooked perfectly and absolutely worth it. For drinks, she ordered the espresso martini (which recently won #1 at Columbus Espresso Martini Fest earlier this month), and I had the Mezcal Last Word. Both cocktails were excellent and complemented the meal really well. Overall, the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere made for a fantastic experience. It's definitely not an everyday dinner spot price-wise, but it's absolutely worth the money. Perfect for a special occasion, date night, or anytime you want a genuinely great dining experience.

So glad to have made my first visit to Losanti! While waiting for my reservation I enjoyed the Happy Hour menu at the bar. The decor and staff were fantastic! After too much snacking before dinner, I opted for a salad once seated. But everything from start to finish was delicious! I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Losanti. First, I love the ambiance, lighting, the decor, and the seating was stylish but very comfortable as well. The hospitality was incredible. Every server was so kind (our main one was Ryan, he was wonderful) and they provided an over-the-top experience. Even the gentleman bringing out the food took his time to get us excited about each dish and they all seemed to really enjoy their job. Onto the drinks, delicious!! I had the Lillet Rose and it was perfectly sweet. My husband had the Old Fashioned and he said it was one of the best he's had. Now onto our food, we had the shrimp cocktail and it was great and the cocktail sauce had a nice kick to it. For the main meal, our steaks were cooked exactly how we asked, the food was hot, and every bite was amazing! Big of the truffle butter! Our sides were the mashed potatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms. Lastly, we got the butter cake and I had an espresso martini. The martini was strong and so delicious and the butter cake is so good and it was huge! I'm not even a big sweets person and I couldn't stop eating it! We will definitely come again and we're looking forward to trying more on the menu next time!

Stopped in for an early birthday dinner a few days ago. For parking there is a garage but it was a bit of a walk to get to the actual entrance. Or maybe we went the wrong way not sure. Service was great. Our server was knowledgeable and prompt. We made it in for happy hour so we tried the meatball. It was very good! And the grilled pesto bread that came with it was perfect. I got the steak frites as my main. It was basically a plate of fries with a side of steak steak was decent. I did like the chimichurri on it. The chicken parm was also tasty but again a bit of a smaller portion for the price. Overall I'd definitely be back in but would try different items on the menu.

We tried the new restaurant. I'll start with the good, the beef tartare has so much flavor and the bread is soft. The kale caesar is huge and also amazing. The ribeye was one of the best we've had at steakhouses with the char and salt. The pasta isn't worth ordering again, the flavor of the sauce had a sweetness to it. The focaccia was a miss.. tastes like a sweet bread rather than typical focaccia flavor. The butter cake is to die for!!! Best we've ever had. Drinks were good as well. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. The ambience is part of my reason for one less star. Location is everything, outside you could see either a graffiti wall or a street with large poles in the way. The inside is beautiful for the space they have.

Great fine dining experience at Losanti! We came for happy hour (even on the weekends!) which is 4-6pm, discounted drinks, apps, and the Losanti burger. Everything came out fresh and fast, however I do take a star down based on the portion sizes, specifically the shrimp cocktail. For $10, serving five shrimp in a large ice bucket seemed a little cheap, especially for such an upscale restaurant. The service was excellent, with our waiters checking on us throughout the visit, and the manager also stopped by to talk to us. The standout was the butter cake for dessert!! Trust me, just get it- gooey, piping hot, buttery, sweet, and topped with ice cream, I would come back for this dessert alone. Overall, very nice experience, but would like to see a more robust happy hour, especially after a new opening!

My husband and I decided to check out Losanti completely on a whim. We checked OpenTable for reservations and nothing was available, but since they just opened about two weeks ago we figured we'd take our chances with a walk-in. When we got there it was immediately clear this place was BUSY. But the vibes were great from the start. It was super windy and one of the women (I'm assuming a manager) was standing by the door holding it open for everyone and greeting people with a smile, which was such a nice touch. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they squeezed us in with no wait and never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I was also in athletic wear and felt a little underdressed at first, but the staff truly didn't make us feel out of place. Before I even talk about the food, I have to highlight the service because it was AMAZING. Our waiter Connor was so personable and patient and gave great drink recommendations that really hit the spot. The timing of everything was perfect. Drinks, apps, and mains came out exactly when they should. Not rushed, not slow. Silverware was replaced right away, our water glasses were never empty, and anytime the table got a little messy it was already cleaned. Now the food. Oh my god. I thought I had the best Italian food I'd ever had last week... but nope. Losanti wins. The vodka pasta was to die for. The pasta is homemade and cooked perfectly al dente. The truffle mac? Chileeeee... it was GOOD. The focaccia bread and masala mushrooms were also incredible. As a vegetarian I'm used to having limited options, but here there were actually several things I wanted to try. I'll definitely be coming back to work through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend. Service: 10000/10 Food: 10/10 Vibes: 10/10

Our waiter, Sam, and his assistant, Brandon, very promptly arrived and introduced themselves. They brought amazing rye & sourdough bread in a basket with 2 choices of butter. Hosted a work event here and it went very well. Major thanks to Ben and Evin who were phenomenal…read moreand patient with our group of 20. Food was delicious and they catered to a few different dietary restrictions, including vegan. Thanks for the great evening.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. The decor is upscale and gives that classic steakhouse feel,…read moreand I liked that there was both bar seating and a more formal dining area. It definitely sets the tone for a nice night out. Also this location is very different from Polaris. The service was okay...not terrible, but not as attentive or memorable as I expected for a steakhouse of this reputation. As for the food... this is where it fell short for me. I've been wanting to try it for a while because I've heard so many good things, so I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't cooked the way I prefer, the brussel sprouts weren't enjoyable, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant, which was disappointing for a place known for steak. The one standout for me was the meatballs, they were actually really good and had great flavor. Overall, for a birthday dinner and for the reputation it has, our party left a bit disappointed. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it just didn't match the expectations we had going in.

I went here for my birthday and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was worth it…read more I ordered the steak, my boyfriend got the lobster ravioli, and we added salmon to the mix because why not go all in on a birthday dinner. Every single plate was hitting. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked, seasoned well, and actually had flavor all the way through. The lobster ravioli was rich but not heavy, and the salmon was flaky and done right, not dry at all. What really made it though was the service. They were attentive without hovering, kept the drinks coming, and made it feel like a special night without being extra about it. For a birthday dinner, that matters. If you're going, don't go playing small. Order what you actually want. It's one of those places where you lean into the experience and enjoy it. Solid food, great service, and a good spot for something worth celebrating.

My take on the restaurant…read more Brussels Sprouts: 10/10 - as good as it gets! I couldn't imagine better brussels sprouts it was crispy but also soft in the center so you didn't have to fight your way through eating them even good restaurants. I have good flavor and good sauce for brussels sprouts aren't as soft as these ones. This was great. Lamb chops: 6.5/10 - very sweet small lamb chops! Cooked well and had good flavor I just wasn't personally blown away. The Clover Club: 9/10 - knew exactly what I wanted. Had Monkey 47 which is the BEST gin for this drink. Wasn't the best one I've had but pretty close for it not being on the menu. Filet: 7/10 - a little Gamey but it was cooked well as it should be. Didnt have anything unique about it just was don't like a filet should be done. The carrot was cooked to perfection which brought her review up. The fried potato was also amazing best part of the whole dish, especially with whatever spread they put on it. The fillet was not the highlight the carrot and the potato were. Sea Bass: 1/10 - genuinely did not taste good very gamey very fishy took two bites didn't eat it. The soup it came in was a little sour not a good flavor would not recommend. Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 - we are sushi snobs so take this with a grain of salt. It could totally be something that you love, but I hate when somebody brings out a piece of Nigiri or sashimi and it's warm. This dish has potential the flavors around it were very fresh but the hamachi was room temperature when it should be ice cold and the flavors felt like an after thought. Menu: 4/10 - nothing to write home about when it comes to the options. A very corporate get what you expect type restaurant. They aren't doing anything revolutionary here Atmosphere: 7/10 - definitely a nice spot. It's very clean bathrooms are intimate and also very clean again. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time. Majority of people will give us an eight out of 10 rating. My girlfriends take on the restaurant Brussels Sprouts: 9/10 Lamb chops: 8/10 The Clover Club: 8/10 Filet: 6.5/10 Sea Bass: 1/10 Hamachi Crudo: 2/10 Menu: 4/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Price: 3/10
