It's really impressive how this small place with the tiniest kitchen is able to put out such amazing food that rivals some of the best in the area. This little gem is St Pete's best kept culinary secret! Seating is exceptionally limited...literally 1 communal table and the chef's table (seats 6) which is actually the bar, where if you are lucky enough to score a reservation, is the best seat of all because you can interact with the kitchen and watch them in action. I almost didn't want to post this review, tempted to keep this one to myself!

This is by far one of the most amazing hidden gems in St Pete Bay Area! Super cozy only 12 people sitting at any given night. Chef is just super enthusiastic and creative! Ambiance cozy friendly hip! Food outstanding wine very good! Overall top tier!

Overall great experience. Loved the guided journey from the chef, explaining the thought he put into every dish. Cozy, intimate atmosphere.

Bin 6 South is a small and intimate restaurant. To me, it had a very home style feeling in decor, but also a little farm chic. They do have a bar which seats like 6 people and then a large table for family styled table for communal eating. We dined in and sat at the large table with other guests. Every single item we ordered on the menu was absolutely fantastic in flavor, plating, and execution. I would highly recommend this restaurant, you will not regret eating here. A lot of the menu items were gluten-free as well when I dined in.

A truly great resto :) From the chef down to their staff, it was a remarkable one. And they look very presentable. Neat and squeaky small resto :) They explained everything . Food wise so delicious, nomnom . And oh that edible flowers fresh from their garden :). You guys don't have to go to a fancy resto, this is a small resto yet very solemn--it a nice to have an intimate dinner date here. I know parking is tight but hey you can always find parking and you guys have to try their food. I do recommend this resto .

Service, 5 stars. The one server/hostess and the chef were incredibly friendly and outgoing. Food, 3 stars, at best. You walk into the place and it is tiny. So tiny that my friend and I first thought we accidentally walked into their storage unit. But nope, this is the restaurant. One table of 6, and a counter that seated 6 people is all the seating available. At lunch on a Saturday we were the only ones in there, and we sat at the counter. Since I was torn between 2 items, my friend suggested we split both of them, and order a side of bread. Thank goodness for the bread, because the miso butter it was served with was my favorite thing I ate. The two items we split were a crab appetizer and a pulled pork sandwich. The crab appetizer for $26 was tasty, but very small. I ordered the sauce on the side, and I'm glad I did, because while flavorful, it would have totally overpowered the flavor of the crabmeat. The sandwich took a surprisingly long time. We finished the app and kept waiting and waiting. When it was served, it was the sandwich with 2 pickles. For $22. At that price I would have thought a little side could have been provided. This was my least favorite thing. The pork had minimal flavor and was so finely chopped it was almost a pork salad. The bread it was served on broke immediately upon pick up, and had been grilled for so long it was overly dry and crumbly. Again, the people working there were so lovely, but the food experience was in no way, shape or form five stars. If you are into wine tastings, I would definitely check them out; I think this is where they shine. Otherwise, expect to pay $40 for lunch and leave hungry.

Excellent food and service Very unique selection of wine. Love trying new wines. My Caesar salad was topped with anchovies and cured egg yolk shavings. The lettuce is grown in their garden. Delicious creamy dressing. And topped with cubed potatoes. Definitely recommend this. My friend loved her crudo snapper with fresh edible flowers also from their garden. I ordered the Spanish red wine. I really enjoyed it, it paired great with my meal. Since my friend ordered fish, the brut she ordered was perfect. We also tried for vermouth wine for dessert. I recommend adding ice to it. Cant wait to go back and try more wines and some of the desserts. Our downstairs table had a nice view of the garden. They also have upstairs patio dining options.

This place was amazing! We made a reservation a day before, at the bar. This place is very small with only 6 seats at the bar and 6 seats at a table. The staff was inviting and welcoming. They have an extensive wine menu, by the glass, or bottle. The menu is unique and small. We ordered the bread, the lump crab and watermelon as well as the beet salad for appetizers. All were magnificent. The butter with the bread was miso butter, very interesting and delicious. The lump crab and watermelon was extremely refreshing and wonderful (it is a cold appetizer). Last but not least, that beet salad was killer, with a carrot puree, the kale chips and sauerkraut. The servers and cooks checked on us the whole meal. We got a great recommendation for an Albarino wine, that was wonderful and matched our choices. For entrees, we ordered the Spaetzle (the vegetarian dish), with a corn puree, garlic chips, zucchini and pearled onions. It was delicious. We also shared the skate, which is a white flaky local fish. It came with almonds on top and brown butter (which we skipped), it was magnificent and did not need the butter. Overall, this experience was magnificent. The server was also nice enough to give us a toast sparkling wine for my birthday.

We came here for the first time after waiting way too long, this is their last weekend open. It makes us sad that we can't return bc this would have been a staple! Small intimate environment with great personalized service. Go while you can!!!

Bin 6 was my favorite dining experience while visiting Tampa, Florida from New York. Although small and intimate, the restaurant packs a mighty punch in terms of service, food, and wine selections. There were 6 of us, and we took the only table in the restaurant (which seated 6!). Sarah, our server, was so sweet and joyful, and we enjoyed hearing her explanations of items, especially those that contained vegetables from their garden outside and upstairs. The menu wasn't super extensive, but everything on it was extremely good; nothing tasted subpar. My husband noted that he felt Bin 6 could be a Michelin restaurant or at least Michelin recommended, and that's saying a lot given that we've visited a few, including Jungsik in New York (3 starred Michelin). The lamb was sooo tender, and the duck super flavorful. I'm not a huge dessert person, but other members of my family are, and they devoured them. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Bin 6 and can't wait to visit again!

Last week, we decided to check out the new wine bar in St Pete, Bin 6 South. A buddy mentioned they had went and absolutely loved the place, so we had to check it out. Bin 6 South is located in a renovated house. It is a small spot, 330 sq. ft, one 6 top table, and 6 seats at the bar overlooking the chef & kitchen. They have a impressive wine selection and also have a selection of sake. We made reservations for the one large table and arrived at 6 pm. We were greeted and seated by Danielle. She took great care of us throughout the evening. I am a bit picky when it comes to wine, and she knew exactly what to select. We ordered a few bottles of wine and a few apps to start. We chose the bone marrow, roasted red pepper soup, bin board, honey charred eggplant, & snapper crudo. For our mains, we went with the lamb shank, duck confit glass noodles, and the salmon. Our apps came out and they all looked phenomenal. The roasted red pepper soup had a great richness and depth of flavor. The snapper crudo had a beautiful presentation and was very much enjoyed. The stracciatella cheese on the bin board was a table favorite. Honey roasted eggplant surprised me and the bone marrow was good. All the apps were on point. Our mains came out shortly after we finished our apps. Again, everything was well above average. The crispy duck skin with the glass noodles was a treat. The lamb shank served over couscous was excellent and the pickled veggies were the perfect contrast. I didn't get to try the salmon, but it seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed. After dinner, we decided we couldn't leave without trying some dessert. We went with a chocolate cake and lime custard. We also ordered some dessert wine, tokaji. The chocolate cake was served with a mix of berries and some iridescent chocolate. It looked as good as it tasted. The lime in the coconut dessert was my favorite. It was lime curd served under coconut meringue with a coconut crumble. I just couldn't get enough of it. Overall, we were very impressed with our visit to Bin 6 South. The food was absolutely incredible, the service was perfect, and the wine selection had me wanting more. This is a great new addition to St Pete and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Fantastic find, the best place in downtown St Pete that I have tried in many a moon. Fantastic selection of wine. Our party of four came on a Saturday for dinner and the food was amazing, literally the best food I've had in the Tampa area, especially St Pete in a long time despite all the new places that have opened up in the past year. It's way better than the Michelin star restaurant in Tampa that I tried a few months ago, not the Asian place or the Italian place, the other one. They have one communal table that seats six and six chairs at the bar that face the kitchen, and it's a small kitchen, I'm surprised at the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen which reminds me of my small apartment kitchen I had when I lived in NYC many years ago. The menu varies a little depending on when you go and is seasonal but generally several appetizers, 3 entrees, 3 desserts and a page of wines, although they have an extensive list that you can choose from as well. We had the bin board, olives and crudo, all great. Entrees included the gnocchi, venison saddle and trout from the Faroe Islands. The gnocchi was perfect, the venison I could not get enough of the trout was superb. We then tried each of the desserts which included lime in coconut - lime custard inside of coconut cream, almost like key lime pie without the crust, some chocolate 3 ways dish and some cake dish. It was all very good. Note, you have two hours to eat dinner we had reservations at 7 and around 9:15 they let us know that the 9pm guests were waiting outside, but they were very nice about it. They also serve lunch and brunch on the weekends and they have wine tastings on Monday nights. They also offer wine and dinner events every so often. Most definitely will be back.

LITERALLY OBSESSED!!!!!! I'm almost not wanting to post this because I want to come here everyday and have it all to myself haha ... but these guys deserve so much credit for what they've envisioned and then created. The staff and ownership is so relatable, conversational , passionate it was so refreshing .. we felt like old friends . They were so compassionate about their craft it was inspiring . They have an in house som. The curated by the glass and by the bottle list is incredible . The menu is like out of this world for food and changes often due to inspiration and what is fresh locally ... I mean the owners son catches the fish with his commercial boat. HOW COOL IS THAT!? They are also launching a local delivery service for their wine . Which is like the most convenient thing ever . Who doesn't want wine at their door ... The ambiance is freaking adorable AND THEY BUILT IT OUT WITH THEIR OWN HANDS!!! Overall absolutely incredible experience we even brought two bottles of wine home to enjoy . Hands down my fave new spot and will be a regular ... so if you're reading this Bin 6 South, expect me back!
