Grilled chicken panini pesto and Cesar salad with grilled chicken.

Cute diner along Route 40. Stopped in one late evening in early March with my husband. The menu is enormous as to be expected from a diner and the service was very friendly. My husband got the Cesar Salad with grilled chicken and it was enormous. I got the grilled chicken and pesto panini. Our entrees were sufficient but the star of the entire weal was our soup that came with the meal. I had the butternut squash soup and he had the split pea soup. The pricing was reasonable and the restrooms were clean. If I come back, I'd definitely get the soup again.

Consistent food on my weekly trip. I love the breakfast and it's so much it's enough for lunch. The staff is courteous and always remembers you. One of the few diners that have Italian sausage and fry it right. Thanks Thanks

Doesn't look appetizing spread on a big plate but it was really good. Need some baskets!

Stopped coming here quite a few years back. Had some rough meals. I THINK its a new owner. Setting is your typical NJ diner. Being in Elmer the clientele is interesting. Just some good ol' S Jersey country folk I got the Honey Dipped chicken. The pieces were very small. I couldn't tell what was the wing and what was the drumstick. It was plated on a regular size plate with small pieces if lettuce or something scattered as a garnish. Looked ridiculous. My little wing was dry but the rest was delicious. My crab soup was very good for a diner and had real crabmeat. Coleslaw had too much mayo and my corn was pale and mushy but I was full anyway. My wife got the chicken bruschetta special. She enjoyed it and the portion was huge. Had a nice size salad as well. Chocolate pudding and whip cream for desert as it came with her meal. Yum. Our server was very pleasant. Id gone 4 stars if the sides were good and the chicken bigger.

I ordered the classic cheesesteak, Boston clam chowder, and ice cream . My dad got the chicken grinder lunch special with sweet potato fries, the crab soup, and bread pudding. My dad is still talking about that lunch! He loved it. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I would definitely order those again with any meal! My dad's soup was a little thick for me. I didn't taste his grinder but he said it was good. I ordered my sandwich with extra lettuce and had to ask for more; it came right away. I only was able to eat half and ate the other half later. Delicious! My soup was tasty. I also got the chocolate and strawberry ice cream. Strawberry had lots of fruit in it. They didn't have any toppings. It was Yummy! Kay,our waitress, greeted me as soon as I arrived. I ordered coffee and she said it was brewing. She remembered it as soon as it was done. She took great care of us despite the crowd. Everything was delicious. The amount of food was enough for several more meals afterward. The menu reads like a small novel it is so big. This is a classic diner.

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago after many recommendations. Tinier place, but…read morecute! The decor was cool and eye catching. I placed my order online and only had to wait a few minutes when I was there. One thing I wasn't nuts about was seeing a bunch of fries already packed sitting under a heat lamp when I got there. A young gentleman was packing the to go orders who seemed a little flustered which made sense cause it seemed there was a rush happening, but wound up forgetting to give me the side of cheese sauce I ordered. I should have checked myself so it's a little on me, but I did make it a point to ask him if it was in the bag and he said yes. When I tried the fries at first, they were actually excellent. Perfectly warm, crispy, and salty however after sitting out only for about 5-10 minutes, they took on a texture of staleness which was disappointing but I suppose it's from already sitting out under the lamp. I feel like if they were made to order, they'd probably stay fresher a bit longer. I got the roast pork sandwich with provolone and roasted red peppers which was very good! The pork was seasoned well, a little peppery which I love. Roasted red peppers were good too! As much as I loved it, it was absolutely swimming in juice or oil from the peppers so it was extremely messy, but again, delicious! We also ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich called the hoagie which was great. They make a wonderful cutlet! I'd for sure come back, but maybe skip the fries next time.
