When we walked in we were seated immediately. It took a bit to see a server but it just gave us time to look at the menu, we weren't in a rush. Our server took our drink order and shortly after our food order. He was very attentive throughout our time at Elmer's which was really appreciated. The food was very yummy! The portions seem larger than some breakfast places which meant we got to take home leftovers! When we visited Elmer's it was the transition between breakfast and lunch so some people were there when we arrived but most left, so it was a very chill and quiet breakfast experience.

Fantastic service and very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and it's cooked to order, while that may take a few extra minutes it's certainly worth the wait.

First breakfast in Beaverton before we hit the popup vinyl record sale down the road - it's a chain so we knew it would be consistently decent food and fairly quick. I was excited to see Dutch Baby on the menu and immediately knew I needed to try it. It comes with eggs and choice of meat. I went with Lingonberry butter as my topping. I think the room was cold because my Lingonberry butter had butter clumps that never melted. Service was quick and attentive with the place packed to the gills. Pancakes were great and the chicken sausage was not too dry. Dependable and just what we needed to start our day

Very welcoming and warn diner. Nice location, good amount of space, and good food. Decent coffee. Very nice and attentive service. Great chili vibe. I dined there twice in a week, and both times, my food was nice, especially for the price. I wish they used less sauce. They followed my request for less cheese. I will go back quite often.

I would move to Portland just for Elmer's Kitchen! The food is very fresh and delicious. I want to order one of everything on the menu! I ordered cinnamon roll pancakes and OMG, just mouthwatering, I am OBSESSED. My friend, who is a local, ordered the strawberry crepes; which I tried. Again, delicious. The vibes are very chill and give off a nice local small-business feeling. It is much better than any chain like Dennys or iHop! Elmer's Kitchen is a must-try when in the area.

Great food as always!!!! Rancher's Breakfast with Strawberry crepes!

As always food is great and so is the service! Our server Dora was the sweetest! I can't believe my picky eater 9 year old finished his entire plate, this rarely happens! But what I'd like to mention today is how the staff accommodated a person with a rollator walker. Truly outstanding! The elderly gentleman had one of those bulky rollers so they decided they will be removing a "standing floor divider" so he and his party can take the nearest tables so he doesn't have to maneuver his walker all the way to the back of the restaurant, they then asked if he would like them to store his walker away while they ate. That was such a nice gesture! That's why I love coming here! Everyone is just so kind and friendly!!!

I don't know why I sometimes forget that Elmer's Kitchen has some pretty solid brunch options, but definitely come here if you're in the mood for classic American comfort food. Not only do they offer lunch and dinner options, but they serve breakfast all day. I've only been here for brunch and would usually order the Lingonberry Crepes (aka Swedish Pancakes) or the Classic German Pancake (aka Dutch Baby), both are always wonderful. However, this time around I wanted to indulge in their Crabacado omelette and the Husby had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. It was definitely a hearty breakfast. I loved the chunks of dungeness crab in my omelette. The hash browns were average, wish they were a little more crispier. Other than that, they also have good coffee and servers were really friendly.

Recent visit was not so great. The place seemed clean, the menu selection for breakfast pretty good. We ordered a traditional egg plate and the potato cake plate. The potato cakes were just way too salty for me. If not for the salt they really would've had good flavor. Much to the same tune, the hash browns on my husbands plate were excessively salty too. And not distributed excessive salt but like clumps of salt, so much so my husband gave up and stopped eating them. All other items on our plates were seasoned well and the biscuit was quite good. (I also ordered my egg over hard and received medium, runny.) Our server wasn't overly friendly but seemed capable...but then he left for break. As our food came to the table he alerted us that it was break time but that 3 others would tend to us. No one else approached us at all during the break, not even for a coffee check. Unfortunately not the best breakfast experience.

Still my favorite breakfast "chain" restaurant in the Pacific Northwest! If you find yourself in Washington or Oregon give them a try!

Inside is clean, bright but impersonal and generic. Maybe they just haven't had the time to put their stamp on it yet. The upsides - there is table service now and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I've ordered their Country Fried Steak with scrambled eggs multiple times now. Still a very good steak and sausage gravy. Either the steak breading of the sausage gravy was maybe a touch more salty than usual. The eggs were disappointing- scrambled eggs should be fluffy due to constantly stirring over low heat in a pan - and previously they always had been. This time they were a overcooked dense, dry puck, It was as if the egg mixture was poured out on the flattop, left and flipped once. Still eatable with hot sauce. Over all - they did hit a ball, but definitely no home run. It's unlikely that I'll be back.

My breakfast partner had the veggie hash which was enjoyed very much. I had the Truckstop breakfast with 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes, veggie sausage (comes with your choice of protein), and a cat's head biscuit (that's what we called giant biscuits in the South). The cook prepared the scrambled eggs perfectly - I order eggs "scrambled, soft" but don't always come out that way, but they were expertly on target here. The breakfast potatoes were glorious- a generous serving of perfectly seasoned, fluffy soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, two pieces of tasty vegan sausage, and the biscuit had been sliced and heated on the stove and came with butter and what I suspect might have been housemade berry jam. I am fussy about pancakes and didn't see anyone else with them on their plates (as I rubbernecked around the room to see what people were eating) but I think I'll try one next time, now that I know what an exceptionally good job they did with everything on this first visit. There is only neighborhood street parking, FYI. There's only a handful of tables inside (and a couple outside) but the space is nice and cozy. They have both plants and art on the walls for sale. Their menu offers a number of options for both drinks and food. I had a mango mimosa (one of the best mimosas I've had in some time) to drink, and a pancake and the vegetable hash to eat. The pancake was wonderful. The hash was a great mix of veggies and the most perfect poached eggs on top. It was served with a small spring mix salad. My complaint with all the food was that it was just ok. While prepared well, it all lacked flavor. Nothing seasoned or stood out as a great dish. The service was fantastic. A small staff, but they all were doing everything and I believe everyone touched our table throughout our dining experience. I'd go back, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list to revisit.

But one bite in and it was clear it hadn't been warmed. When I mentioned it wasn't fresh, the staff defended it saying it was made the night before. Exactly my point -- if it was made the night before, warm it up. Even Starbucks does that. It was dense, cold, and not enjoyable at all. The coffee I ordered extra hot, and it wasn't. Within a few sips it was already lukewarm. That's a basic request that should be easy to get right. The atmosphere is okay visually, but it's packed with laptop workers and there's barely any space to sit and relax. People treat this place like a co-working space and give you stares if your kid makes any noise. It's a coffee shop, not a library or an office. And the tip screen before you even taste anything? Hard pass on that concept. I carry cash and I tip based on actual experience -- that's how it should work. Service was polite but dismissive when there was a real complaint. Probably won't be back.

The Mocha ($6.50 for 16oz) is way too sugary for my taste, but still tastes good, consider getting water to wash it down. The pastries are brought in daily and made by Jenn. And we tried only the Croissant ($6) and the Spinach & Ricotta Lattice Pastry ($7) but these were much better than the freshly made Avocado Toast ($9.50), even though the avocado was ripe and the toast was good, however it was missing salt or whatever seasoning to make it as good as the other pastries. SERVICE Super fast and super friendly . One thing is having a decoration that calls for inclusion, but having a team that represents it, that's gold.
