We went during happy hour, which all day Sunday is happy hour. We sat down right away and service was great. Food was super cheap, burgers for $9, Brussels sprouts for $5 and Caesar for $3. A ton of food and super cheap, tasted good.

Broccoli cheese soup and 1/2 turkey sando.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekend...this is one of a handful of restaurants in the Bethany area. The food is here is slightly above average but not exceptional...and the menu prices are high. I had the lunch special of 1/2 sandwich and soup...soup was actually very good but the sandwich lacked any flavor sensation. It still ended up costing $15...which seems high for a cup of soup and 1/2 turkey sandwich. Drinks are good but also in the pricey side...not a bad spot but they seem to charge a bit more than they deliver.

Inside seating, not busy at all.

We had a reservation for a specific date and time. When we came in we were told that two ladies sat at our reserved spot. We were then given a table towards the back. Okay! Our group started to trickle in, and we had mentioned to the server that we will order then. We went ahead and ordered. The food came. Portions were small for the price you are paying for. A child's grilled cheese sandwich with a side of mandarin oranges came out to $9.00. A side of fries, which was really a small order came out to $8.00. When the waitress was asked she said it was $6.00. No big deal. The fish and chips I ordered was from the lunch menu. It was $15.00. My only complaint is the coleslaw was stale. The fish, and fries were good. Deducted points because the server didn't come to refill water. She also made it hard to split the bill. She said parties or table groups can only have one bill. Since not everyone had cash on hand. She made it difficult to pay with a card. She eventually split it into three checks, but you can tell she wasn't happy about it. Given they weren't busy at all. The server could have been nicer, and more accommodating. With the experience we had here, I wouldn't recommend this place, nor would I want to come back.

We've had the pleasure of dining and drinking at the Bethany Public House a handful of times and always have a great meal. Today was bo different. The Fish and Chips is excellent and my son loved his cheese burger. Service with a smile and very attentive servers. Sports on the multiple TVs is nice on the weekends.

Cute, good food and good service I especially enjoy their happy hour. The menu is extensive and each item has been great so far. I highly recommend this place for happy hour. They also have a great bar selection and lots of beer on tap. Atmosphere is fun for a larger group of friends or family:

I really wanted chicken wings and I had seen some posts about Bethany Pub House on Nextdoor, so it was on my mind. It has a private parking lot and is across the street from a parking garage. The waitress was good and attentive. The young man that brought our food acted like he didn't hear me ask for ranch. I say "acted" because based on his slow gait and slight pause at my question, indicates a good chance that he heard, and ignored me. The mozzarella sticks were nothing special, on par with Costco air fried mozzarella sticks. I got the Thai peanut wings. They were pretty horrible. Seriously thick sauce, so you just get a huge mouthful of sauce with a tiny bit of chicken. The waitress took it off my bill which was incredibly sweet of her to do. I can't say I recommend this place.

We started with the family-size Smokey Roque salad. Everything tasted fresh, and the blue cheese dressing was flavorful without being overpowering. The homemade bread arrived warm and delicious with just a touch of salt, I could have eaten the entire loaf! For our entrées, we ordered the Spicy Sausage Rigatoni, Pork Ragu, Al Tartufo, and the pork chop which was the special for the day (forgot the name). I chose the Vongole, and it was out of this world! Pasta with clams is one of my favorite dishes, so I thought I knew what to expect, but this version was so much more flavorful. The herbs added wonderful flavor, while the hint of lemon enhanced the dish without overpowering it. Every clam was open, so none went to waste. When my plate arrived, was sure I would have leftovers to take home but I enjoyed it so much that I ate every bite including the pasta!! The restaurant's website says they use "fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from local, sustainable, and organic farms," and they absolutely live up to that promise!! The reception area may seem small when you first walk in, but don't let that fool you. We sat in the dining area on the left, but the other side has a bar, additional tables, a small private dining room that seats about a dozen people, and another larger dining space. The restaurant feels cozy and inviting while still offering plenty of room. Alex, our server, was wonderful. When he learned that my brother and sister-in-law live nearby and had visited before, he took the time to note their names. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel even more personal! We walked about 15 minutes to the restaurant. It was a fun way to begin and end the evening, and no one had to drive after enjoying wine and margaritas! Bethany's Table is worth supporting not only because it's a neighborhood bistro, but because they do an excellent job!! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is beautifully prepared, and the fresh, locally sourced ingredients truly shine!! We'll definitely be back, sooner rather than later!!

For 4 people with 4 burgers (comes with salad and 3 pot stickers) and 4 sodas -- it was just over $100. This seems like a lot for a "fast food" type restaurant. The food was good, not great. I got the jalapeño popper burger, I guess I misread as I thought the jalapeño and cream cheese was inside. It was not, there was a large bacon wrapped jalapeño not he top. Otherwise a plain burger. Miss opportunity I thought. The Skippy burger was good -- but some bacon and a spicy sriracha or something would make it better, and less sweet. Chicken burger was good. Don't remember the 4th burger (sorry). I also wish they offered a different green -- they only have arugula which I do not enjoy -- so the salad did nothing for me. Pot stickers were great! Would try again if ever in the area.

The beer that Steve and I had was the Muddy Valley Oatmeal Stout. Now, I also tried their beer a lighter beer type at their McMinnville location and it was just okay... but this Oatmeal Stout I liked quite a bit more. So I suggest focusing in their dark beers. The flavor highlights in this beer are sweetness and Oatmeal. It is also smooth and creamy in body. For a Stout it isn't a very heavy beer and is on the light bodied side which sometimes you come across a Stout that is like that but it isn't something I'd call commonplace.

The Rock Creek Tavern is a short drive north of Hillsboro, OR, on a quiet stretch of NW Old Cornelius Pass Road (a northwest offshoot of the much busier Cornelius Pass Road). This is my opinion -- I'm merely a local customer and a big fan.
