We went during happy hour, which all day Sunday is happy hour. We sat down right away and service was great. Food was super cheap, burgers for $9, Brussels sprouts for $5 and Caesar for $3. A ton of food and super cheap, tasted good.

Broccoli cheese soup and 1/2 turkey sando.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekend...this is one of a handful of restaurants in the Bethany area. The food is here is slightly above average but not exceptional...and the menu prices are high. I had the lunch special of 1/2 sandwich and soup...soup was actually very good but the sandwich lacked any flavor sensation. It still ended up costing $15...which seems high for a cup of soup and 1/2 turkey sandwich. Drinks are good but also in the pricey side...not a bad spot but they seem to charge a bit more than they deliver.

Inside seating, not busy at all.

We had a reservation for a specific date and time. When we came in we were told that two ladies sat at our reserved spot. We were then given a table towards the back. Okay! Our group started to trickle in, and we had mentioned to the server that we will order then. We went ahead and ordered. The food came. Portions were small for the price you are paying for. A child's grilled cheese sandwich with a side of mandarin oranges came out to $9.00. A side of fries, which was really a small order came out to $8.00. When the waitress was asked she said it was $6.00. No big deal. The fish and chips I ordered was from the lunch menu. It was $15.00. My only complaint is the coleslaw was stale. The fish, and fries were good. Deducted points because the server didn't come to refill water. She also made it hard to split the bill. She said parties or table groups can only have one bill. Since not everyone had cash on hand. She made it difficult to pay with a card. She eventually split it into three checks, but you can tell she wasn't happy about it. Given they weren't busy at all. The server could have been nicer, and more accommodating. With the experience we had here, I wouldn't recommend this place, nor would I want to come back.

We've had the pleasure of dining and drinking at the Bethany Public House a handful of times and always have a great meal. Today was bo different. The Fish and Chips is excellent and my son loved his cheese burger. Service with a smile and very attentive servers. Sports on the multiple TVs is nice on the weekends.

Cute, good food and good service I especially enjoy their happy hour. The menu is extensive and each item has been great so far. I highly recommend this place for happy hour. They also have a great bar selection and lots of beer on tap. Atmosphere is fun for a larger group of friends or family:

I really wanted chicken wings and I had seen some posts about Bethany Pub House on Nextdoor, so it was on my mind. It has a private parking lot and is across the street from a parking garage. The waitress was good and attentive. The young man that brought our food acted like he didn't hear me ask for ranch. I say "acted" because based on his slow gait and slight pause at my question, indicates a good chance that he heard, and ignored me. The mozzarella sticks were nothing special, on par with Costco air fried mozzarella sticks. I got the Thai peanut wings. They were pretty horrible. Seriously thick sauce, so you just get a huge mouthful of sauce with a tiny bit of chicken. The waitress took it off my bill which was incredibly sweet of her to do. I can't say I recommend this place.

I'm giving it five stars, because to me it was perfect. Let me describe. The Bun 9/10 soft and fluffy, great flavor. The fixings 9/10 Strike sauce, lettuce, pickle, and if you choose American cheese. You could have caramelized, onions or bacon, added to it as well. The strike sauce is ketchup, mayo, mustard. Mixed perfectly. They have so many drinks to choose from. I decided to get the Mountain Dew pineapple apple so good. The service was excellent, friendly smiles, answered any questions that I had. Food came out, had a very fast reasonable time for quality to be met. This place is meant to have orders to go. It did seat around eight inside and had some seating outside available if you wanted to eat there. My overall experience 10 out of 10. I'll definitely be coming back. If you've been waiting to find or try a really good Smashburger, there's definitely no need to look any further. This little hidden gem is perfect to curb. You're cravings.

They were crispy but overly oily, and the creamy mayo-based sauce didn't pair well with them. This Appetizer took too long to come out. For the Ahi Poke Tuna - Glad I asked for the sauces on the side. Even with three sauce options, none really worked with the dish. One dark sauce tasted almost like molasses, overly sweet and not something you expect with poke. The chili sauce was also too sweet, while the soy-based sauce tasted excessively salty (fish sauce maybe added in it). I added malt vinegar myself just to balance the flavor. Also, it would be nice if the fish was seasoned with salt(or something) to alter the fishy flavor. The Fish & Chips was average at best. The batter was uneven, with some parts way too thick, though the fries were okay. Experience was not horrible, server was nice and ambiance inside is pretty. I just think the kitchen needs real work.

The service has been quite good. I'm a person who likes spicy food, but my ideal preference is food spiced well, giving it lots of flavor. Recently had the fish and chips: no clue what type of fish it was, but it tasted perfect. The batter on the fish wasn't too thick and it spiced perfectly. The fries were spiced well, the homemade tartar sauce with dill was excellent. I'm even a fan of the coleslaw: not too thick, fresh ingredients with a light sauce. Unexpectedly, had to order a Thirsty Lion meal from a delivery service: everything showed up packed perfectly, nothing missing. The attention to detail impressive, the fact that they included a wedge of lemon for the fish and even a sprig of something green for a garnish was a nice touch. If you've noticed that a lot of restaurants are starting to have a similar taste...you're not hallucinating...I call them SYSCO restaurants. It's an enormous cabin-style building, with high ceilings, large weathered beams, comfortable seating (upstairs, downstairs, outside and at a long wooden bar). There's a large fireplace, and a giant wood fired stove in the rear that they fire up on cold days. Check out their rare giant mushroom lamps and long list of eclectic objects on the walls or hanging from the rafters. The Rock Creek Tavern is a short drive north of Hillsboro, OR, on a quiet stretch of NW Old Cornelius Pass Road (a northwest offshoot of the much busier Cornelius Pass Road).
