Copper River has become a frequented spot for us for happy hour. Their service at the bar is always friendly and attentive. They updated a few items on their HH menu and I really like the wagyu sliders and chicken tenders. They have more creative options than most happy hours and their drinks are delicious too!

We were staying in the area and wanted to try a place we hadn't been so we checked out Copper River. We went around 2:30 on a Monday so it wasn't that busy. We had the scratch made corn fritters for an appetizer which were tasty. My husband had the Chicken Pot Pie, he said it was pretty good. My son had the bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My daughter and I had the Cheeseburger. I got mashed potatoes for my side and they were delicious. We tried the Hot Scratch Made Donuts which were very good. Our waiter was great, kept refilling our drinks without being asked. The staff were all friendly. The place is clean and nice. The plants outside were pretty but one of them needed some water. If you find yourself in town and looking for some good food that has something for everyone, this is the place.

We had a great meal on a Friday afternoon. The service was impeccable. Derek was very helpful and took our order swiftly. The food came up quickly and was as ordered. I got the veggie bowl with salmon it was fantastic. I would definitely order this again. The bar area was quite lively and loud as the after work crowd had assembled to celebrate the weekend. All in all a good time. I would definitely go again.

A group of us swung in for dinner. The service was really good, they were quick getting our order into we could take advantage of the happy hour specials. And the specials were great! We got some of the corn fritters, fries, and I tried the burger. It was way better than I was expecting. The toppings were fresh, the meat was juicy and well seasoned. The fries were beautifully cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning. Great service, great food!

One of our 2 favorite places in Hillsboro! Always great. My go to's are, Miso Salmon, pb&j burger, spicy mac and cheese, cali roll, fish tacos, and the lobster fettuccine. The new brunch menu on weekends is awesome too!

    Happy hour after the move!

We discovered Copper River restaurant as we drove into Hillsboro. We decided to try it for a happy hour and we are absolutely thrilled to have found a new favorite place! We ordered several of the happy hour special items plus a porter, a stout and a hefeweizen. We ate the wagyu sliders, the California roll, the chicken tenders, the steak bites, the pear and Gorgonzola salad, and the spinach dip. All of the items were tasty, looked freshly prepared and served promptly, and artistically plated. Standouts for us were the steak bites, the California roll, and the spinach dip. Service was great! The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Good ambiance. Will definitely return to Copper River restaurant! Thank you for the excellent experience!

My fish medallion I bit 1/2 of it sorry I did not take a picture before hand I was hungry

Well, it's good Friday and we cannot eat beef or chicken so we decided to eat some fish and chips here. About $20 ,My order came out and I could say it was more like fish medallions three of them almost the size of McDonald's, chicken, nugget and just a little thinner than that that the fries are a little limp not crispy overall it taste OK was supposed to be a beer batter but they lacked that as well. The fish was fried a little too much kind of dry inside I bit into one and the hard fried batter found the soft spot on my gums and it hurt .other than that. The place was very clean, wait staff friendly and attentive i hope my review helps and thanks for your time.

We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered a pour of Weller along with a bacon Old Fashioned for me. The Weller, of course, speaks for itself, but the bacon Old Fashioned was the real standout. The bacon-washed flavor came through beautifully without being overpowering, and since it featured one of my favorite whiskeys, it was an instant win. The candied bacon garnish was literally the cherry on top.We also ordered a generous plate of onion rings, which came out freshly fried and perfectly crunchy. Service was solid, and the pricing felt like a steal ,especially considering the quality of the drinks.

We had the Mozzarella Cheese sticks to start with, and they were scrumptious. We also enjoyed the Underwood Pinot Noir. Our daughter had a beautiful Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado Wrap with Tator Tots. (The tots were phenomenal) I had a craving for the Chicken Fried Steak. It was very good, but the gravy was a but pasty...possibly too much flour. It was still quite good. I had the french fries instead of the mashed potatoes and vegetables. They were perfectly seasoned and crisp and hot. Again, Tabatha made the evening. She is so positive and friendly and is always smiling. We will be back sooner than we have been.

They all feature a long list of draft beers, a full bar, and great friendly service. They brew their own beer and distill a number of spirits. Their Rock Creek Tavern is a gem. It's an enormous cabin-style building, with high ceilings, large weathered beams, comfortable seating (upstairs, downstairs, outside and at a long wooden bar). There's a large fireplace, and a giant wood fired stove in the rear that they fire up on cold days. Check out their rare giant mushroom lamps and long list of eclectic objects on the walls or hanging from the rafters. The Rock Creek Tavern is a short drive north of Hillsboro, OR, on a quiet stretch of NW Old Cornelius Pass Road (a northwest offshoot of the much busier Cornelius Pass Road). This is my opinion -- I'm merely a local customer and a big fan.

He explained the IPA's for my wife and I was convinced that I would also enjoy the Italian Pilsner by his recommendation that was on tap. They were perfect. The music was also an excellent match for great food and service. The food was also excellent. As Trent told us, "people may like the beer, but it is the food that they will come back for" So true. We started with the Southern Fried Pickles...oh my...so good. And the accompanying sauces of BBQ and Ranch had flavor and were perfect for dipping. My wife had a cup of Beer Cheese Soup and a House Salad. The soup was great, but still not as good as Stanford's served in the day. The accompanying Pretzel Roll was so good. She was also enamored with the dressing for the salad. The Chef even came out to explain the ingredients to her. I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich with French Fries. This was a sandwich I would not normally order, but the 3 cheeses, bacon and tomato made it so tasty. We will definitely be back as I have already told a few friends how good ABV is.

You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it made a big difference in our night. The only downside was another bartender (might've been a manager, idk?) who was being super rude and aggressive not just to the staff, but also to a few customers. We could hear the way she was talking to people, and it was honestly uncomfortable and kind of brought the mood down. She could have been having a bad day and I get that, but if this is a regular thing I would look into it. Felt bad for our bartender for having to deal with that energy. Kelson, if you're reading this YOU ROCK. Seriously. Keep doing your thing because your attitude and energy are what make people want to come back.
