Arrived on an overcast Friday late morning. They were pretty busy but plenty of tables available and a bit on the noisy side. Service at the table was quick and friendly. I ordered the potato cake breakfast with scrambled eggs and my date ordered the Mr Elmer's omelet. Our food came out of the kitchen is a reasonable amount of time and was hot. Food: the hashbrowns tasted a bit on the "old oily" side, which is unfortunately common IMO at restaurants. The biscuit left her with an oily hand. Everything else was great including her omelet and my potato cakes. We ended up taking home leftovers.

Met family here for breakfast. There were 7 in our group, and they accommodated us fairly quickly. It wasn't too busy since we came in on a Thursday around 9am. Service was quick and friendly. No complaints with the food. I always get the german pancake combo breakfast and share it. It's plenty for two people. It's so yummy with the butter, powdered sugar, and lemon slices! The combo comes with 2 eggs and either bacon, sausage, or ham. The restaurant estaurant was clean. Would recommend.

I'm so happy this restaurant is still here. I hope they can stay for many more years. When I want good, fluffy, pancakes this is my go to place. The service is always fast, efficient, and friendly. I've never had an order completely wrong here. The food is always served hot, well seasoned, and tasty! Yes, the decor is a little outdated but I think it adds to the awesomeness of this place. I hope they keep the tables forever! This is our breakfast place so we haven't tried a whole lot of other items on the menu. It's now on my radar to do that so I will update when I try something other than breakfast. Go here. Order some delicious food. Leave full and happy.

I love Elmers in general. It has always been a solid place with great food and customer service. Today was a turning point. It was an early dinner about 4;30. When I entered only 2 tables occupied. The employees were all on the overflow side of the restaurant visiting. One gal got up and seated me with a menu. I ordered an ice tea, cobb salad and fries. My ice tea came quickly and was good. It took awhile but I received my salad and fries. First look at the salad it was covered with egg, extra extra tomatoes, bacon and avocado. The blue cheese crumbles and olives were missing. I couldn't see the lettuce. I took one bite and knew something was wrong. Once I removed the toppings I found 2 lettuce cores, specs of bread crumbs, specs of cantelope and rotten lettuce. It literally looked like it was pulled out of a garbage can or salad scraps off of a peoples plates. This salad usually has a nice fresh grilled sliced chicken breast on top and this one had some white translucent mystery fake meat on posing as chicken. I was blown away! Afraid of what I just ingested. This is BS! I showed the waitress but she didn't take it to the kitchen to show them she just put it in the bin and told me she would take it off my bill. This was a $16 salad! NOTE: This place needs to be inspected because I'm sure there are many secrets in the kitchen and with the people working here.

I give it a 4. During Covid times so staff were wearing masks. Party or 2 adults & 2 children. Food was decent. Price was average close to $40. Time to order from eating wasn't bad at all and they seemed busy during the lunch hour. Our server Ruth was so polite to us & the kiddos. She offered bibs for the littles & even chatted up with them. Overall good service, decent food. Would we return, yes. Thanks Elmers

    This looks DELICIOUS!

The customer service needs an overhaul, the water tasted moldy, but the food is amazing. Oh well, let's eat.

French toast had that nice crispness on the outside and it was nice and soft inside. Perfect ratio of starters sauce and strawberries to French toast The server was friendly and personable. Our server was friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy he seemed! As for the food, it was just okay overall. I ordered the pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, along with scrambled eggs, and got an order of biscuits and gravy to go. The pancakes were decent, although a little thicker than I personally prefer, and the scrambled eggs were alright. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were the biggest disappointment. The biscuits were pretty dry, and the gravy could definitely use more seasoning and flavor. Since it has sausage in it, I expected a little more flavor, but the sausage actually had an almost pepperoni-like taste to me. On the plus side, it wasn't overly greasy. Overall, I'd give Sunny's Diner 3 stars. Nothing was necessarily bad, but the food didn't really stand out to me either. I would be willing to come back, but next time I'd probably skip breakfast and try one of their lunch items instead!

Took a seat at the bar and was greeted promptly. Looked over the menu and decided on the smoked angels envy old fashioned. It was happy hour so I got the half wedge salad. Was not a traditional wedge but was really good. For my main I got the lomo saltado, mole rubbed steak tips with onions, peppers, French fries over rice. Was a wild mix of stuff. Steak pieces were pretty small but full of flavor and the sauce over the whole thing was delicious. Was worried the fries would be soggy but the sauce made them better. Sopped up the sauce with the rice and fries. Amazing. Asked for a margarita to go with the meal, seemed appropriate. Sat at the bar so service was good, kept water full and checked in repeatedly Was a great time and great food

It's a beautiful restaurant, we had a large party seated by the window, and our server was SO fun. Everyone was incredibly sweet, and the service was perfect. It was also close to my birthday, and they ended up singing to me twice because our server didn't know the first time! They even brought me a complimentary cake, so it made for such a fun memory. Food-wise, the burrata needed a little more balsamic, but the empanadas were a 10/10, the sauces were amazing, and I loved the fried grit fritters and bread. The drinks were also SO good. Our entire group became obsessed with the Coco No Loco and kept ordering them all night! Unfortunately, my steak was where they lost the star. It was SO tough and honestly difficult to chew. The flavor was also spicier than I expected, but that part is on me! I think they may have just had an off night with the steak, because everything else was incredible. I'd absolutely come back, I'd just order something other than steak next time. 4/5!
