Typical country diner vibe with strong, but mediocre diner-style coffee. Comprehensive menu, particularly with regard to breakfast choices, which are available all day. Perfunctory, yet polite staff to greet and seat you. Portions are decent, and, unlike the coffee, the food is quite tasty.

The service was awesome. We were there when they opened. The coffee was mediocre, but hot on a cold November morning. The triple berry pancake and bacon were delicious. The place needs some remodeling, but it has charm. Most of the booths seats were grungy looking and torn from continuous wear.

Rolled into town for business and was craving the German pancake here and man oh man it did not disappoint! I ordered the combo with eggs and bacon, and my husband ordered the hungry rancher and we shared everything. All the meats are delightful! Bacon is great, ham is one of the best, and sausage is nice. The eggs are cooked to perfection as ordered, and the hashbrowns were crispy and tasty. The biscuit is so dang soft and pillowy, to die for! And of course, my beloved German pancake with powdered sugar, butter, and lemon is the star of the show! It's majestic! Coffee was extra strong and we loved that. What a fantastic brunch we had here, thank you Elmer's!

Elmers is an Oregon diner chain. It is reliable, tasty and with good service. Their clientele tends towards the gray hair side, but that's okay by me because I am gray haired. My wife and I have eaten here often. Their Benedict's, crepes and breakfasts are delicious! They have a superb crabacado omelette and I also love their pancakes! Stop by for reliable, tasty and friendly diner food.

This is my second least favorite breakfast joint in town. It's always crowded and noisy. The food is bland and appears artificial in nature.

I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, asked for it on the rarer side since you never know with steak), and it came out perfect -- great char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Exactly how it should be. Also... don't skip the specials on the chalkboard there's always something worth trying. And the crepe berqueno is AMAZINGGG -- seriously out of this world. In my opinion, it's the best savory crepe ever. I always customize mine by adding egg and avocado and it never misses. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Him and his son Brandon take great care of their guests and make you feel like more than just a customer. Service can be a little slower at times, but honestly... give them grace. They're balancing a busy spot, connecting with locals, and creating a really welcoming vibe. It feels lived-in, not rushed -- and that's part of the charm. Nothing but love for this place. ‍

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back! Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. After lots of…read moreback and forth communication between our waiter and kitchen staff, I was informed that they use soy oil on the entire flat top so anything cooked there wouldn't be safe for me. Unfortunate to say the least as this is my first experience with that at a restaurant. I then asked if any salad would be safe for me. He went back to the kitchen again and returned to inform me that the kitchen said the Caesar Salad, with the exception of the croutons, would be soy free. When our food arrived, my salad had croutons on it. We waved down a different waiter who apologized and took it back right away for a replacement - she was lovely. When our original waiter came to check on us, he asked us if my salad "looked safe" and chuckled. Granted, all I was eating now was a bowl of lettuce, dressing, and cheese as it was my only option. I informed him the first salad had croutons on it, which his response was something along the lines of "Haha Oh, yeah I didn't write it down without croutons. My bad." As someone with an allergy, I didn't feel like I was safe to eat anything here. The waiters attitude was not only dismissive and disrespectful, but allergies not being taken seriously is dangerous and playing with someone's wellbeing. Hopefully they'll do better in the future so others with allergies can experience a safe and enjoyable meal. In the meantime, if you have any allergies you will find better service, safety, and food options elsewhere.
