Super yummy sandos here at Eloise, simply delicious and elegant. Really well done and shout out to everyone working here , such a lovely little place to grab a damn good bite to eat. Me and my beautiful wife got two black sesame hojicha lattes with our egg salad sandwiches & boy was that the move

A tiny spot with big flavors and quick service. I went for the special wagyu sammie a little while back and it was phenomenal.

Instagram reels influenced me, sue me! These sandwiches are worth the $20. The strawberry matcha special sealed the deal. You know a matcha is good when I get it instead of a coffee. I got the chicken salad with potato stix - WOW! The bread is so soft and fluffy, the chicken salad was not to mayo-y, and the potato stix added a perfect crunch. My bestie got the fried chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal too. The BLT was unfortunately sold out, so go early!!! Really cute spot to meet for a quick lunch on a work from home day.

Super tasty! Love the tender pork with the crispy tonkatsu crust. The milk bread is also amazing, very soft and fluffy. Some more bonus sauce (on the side, so bread doesn't get soggy) would've really been phenomenal. Overall really enjoyed this sandwich and looking forward to coming back and trying others.

Had to try out these trendy-looking sandwiches! And I will say they were pretty good! We went on a Saturday, and there was of course a line that took about 20 minutes. Once we got the sandwiches, they were presented with the inside out, which made for a great food photo op! I will say though, my sandwich flavor-wise was a little underwhelming. I got the chicken Caesar, and I wish there was more dressing or it had a stronger flavor. My husband got the pork and I think he was much happier with it. Idk- for the wait, not sure I'd go back really soon, but it's nice to have somewhere with elevated sandwiches on Tennyson!

You've heard the hype, and you can trust that it's worth it! Wow. I struggle to write more than those three letters because every aspect of this experience exceeded my expectations. We arrived just 30 minutes after opening and the line had already climbed half the block, but thankfully it dwindled quickly; a sign of some well-dialed SOPs from their staff. The menu at the counter stayed updated with what they had available, which I appreciated as the options vary based on ingredient availability. I am happy to report that regardless of what you end up with, you will be not only properly satiated, but also delighted by the incredible performance between two slices of Japanese milk bread. Know that I don't say this lightly: these were by far my favorite bites so far this year, and know they'll be tough to beat. I will 200% be back to try the rest of the menu. I'm not even an egg salad person, but if I had to choose again, I know that option is top of my list. I will be back this weekend!

Great sandos and soft milk bread. We ordered the pork katsu and egg salad sando. The pork katsu was crispy and paired really well with the cucumber, though the vinaigrette flavor from the cabbage salad didn't sit too well with me personally. The egg salad sando was my favorite!! Super creamy and flavorful, and the soy marinated egg was such a nice touch. Everything tasted fresh and the milk bread was perfectly soft. Would definitely come back to try other sandos!

Eloise was high on my list to try and when a friend suggested checking out their new pop-up Konbini around the corner, I figured it was a good opportunity to try both. Eloise got busy early, with a line to the door when we went over around 11. It's a small place but there are about 3-4 tables, and we were able to snag one. It took a while to come out, but it made sense since it was so busy. The French dip sandwich was so good, I loved how they toasted the bread on the outside and the broth was yummy, the spicy pork was just OK, I felt the bread should also have been toasted to bring the sandwich together, because with the cabbage slaw, the cold part of the sandwich really overpowers the hot pork.

Three heads are better than one, and Eloise is the three-headed brainchild of Good Bread, Oliver, and Lula's. It's been open about three weeks now and worked through some of the kinks, but there's still a few details to get massaged out. As others note, you should get there prior to 1PM if possible, as there's a high likelihood that they'll sellout after this. Check their Insta page to keep tabs on things. Eloise's interior is a cozy hearth of an assembly line, with five tables squeezed in for dining in. I anticipate they didn't expect a sandwich shop to have so many dine-in guests since this system relies solely on timing and good fortune - once you order, the cashier will give you the option of waiting around for a table to open and come find you. No snagging a table while the rest of your party orders. The menu is compact and focused, the better to showcase their products and keep people moving. They do switch up their menu with a mix of vegetarian and meat shokupan (sandwiches) options, as well as a dessert option that was inexplicably marked up to $20 (from an original $10??). The other thing that raised my eyebrows were the caviar options on comfort food like hot dogs and eggs - a cheeky hi-lo option for those looking to elevate their lunch. We started off with a drink that we were (fortunately) able to wait with outside given unseasonably warm January weather. I liked my black sesame hojicha latte, but the vanilla matcha latte was pretty thin with very little vanilla flavor. Of the Chicken Katsu and BLT (pork belly) sandos, the BLT was the favorite by a long shot with its combination of crispy chicharrones and iceberg lettuce. The chicken was decidedly average, with a tart tonkatsu sauce that could have used more umami to punch through. The bread is soft and puffy in that enjoyable brioche way, and the perfect vessel to shovel more of the fresh ingredients to your mouth.

Eloise has been on my since they opened, and after finally making my way there a couple weekends ago, I'm very glad I did. They specialize in brioche and shokupan sandwiches, which basically means everything is soft, rich, and unapologetically comforting. Exactly what I want in a sandwich and honestly what I'm aiming for in life too. The menu changes, which makes it exciting and also slightly dangerous because now I have an excuse to keep going back. Everything felt thoughtful and well executed, and the bread is really the star here. It's pillowy, buttery, and makes every bite better. If you're into sandwiches that lean into comfort without feeling lazy or boring, Eloise is absolutely worth a visit.

This is the perfect spot for a sandwich shop in Tennyson. We tried the chicken katsu and egg salad sandwiches. The presentation on them, even being to go is incredible. I have never eaten an egg salad sandwich before and this being the first set the bar high. Great flavors, the bread is so soft, and they are a good size for the price. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. The inside is cute and small. There may be a line out the door depending on day and time but we went on a Friday afternoon and there was no line and our to go came out super quick.

    1. My food was great 2. My drip coffee was hot and served it a cute mug with no handle 3. Service was superb. LIVES UP TO THE HYPE Okay I tried this spot based on other's who'd been and encouraged me to go. I ordered to go and enjoyed a quick cup of java while I waited. The Eloise staff is not only friendly but kind. GO Small Business!! My sandwiches traveled great on my 1 hour commute - so I'd say get extra to go if you come in for lunch. I purchased an egg salad and a turkey cobb. Also tried the dessert sandwich. ‼Honest review - the egg salad was yummy on the special homemade white bread. I'll be honest - not a "foody" so personally I didn't need the additional salty egg in the center. But I'd still give it a 5 I got the turkey for my husband and he said with his mouth full "YUM!" But my real favorite was the dessert sandwich concept. Who knew? Strawberries chocolate and ??? I'm guessing marscipone? Wowza! My true blue thought? #eatdessertfirst (To the owner - you got a great thing going!! Why not invest in some decor? Make your space as pretty as your sandwiches.)

This new spot on Tennyson Street is worth the wait for their grand opening. Their sesame hojitcha latte and chicken katsu shokupan sandwich were simply incredible. Unfortunately, they were out of porchetta when I arrived, so they improvised with chicken katsu. Get there early, as the line starts right when they open and the seating is limited. They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.

Sure you should. So I had the time to drive 20+ minutes from work to get to the northside to try out the Little Wolf's burger bar located inside the establishment and called the "Flip & Howl Burger Kitchen." (Don't ask me why.) I made the drive mainly because I'd asked AI where some of the best burgers were in Denver area and one of the answers (when I asked for "quality ingredients") was "Little Wolf/Flip & Howl Burger Kitchen." Made the drive for the Durango-sourced Colorado Wagyu beef/cheese burger that cost just a bit more than $10 a pop. Rating right up at almost a perfect 5 stars, the drive was worth it. And what made it so great? Not just the burger, but because as soon as I walked in the proprietor's first words were, "Want an ice cream cone on us?" While I thought it must have been because of my stylish aplomb and in-command presence . . . turns out everyone gets the same offer. (What a great marketing idea:). Took my burger, which by the way, tasted great, but of course ate my soft ice cream teaser cone first. Turned out to be a fine idea. End result? When you're looking for a great place for a blue-collar burger at an extremely reasonable price be sure to make the drive to the northside to give Little Wolf's a bite.
