Randomly came across this place. Was confused if it was open or closed. Took a while for the employee to come out but she finally did. You get to sample the flavors as well. A bit sweet (for ice cream) but still good.

Solid ice cream spot! I love how their flavors and overall vibe are reminiscent of a local ice cream shop. This Boston-based chain has rotating seasonal flavors, and I tried the blueberry crumble and peach. I appreciate how the flavors taste natural. Would definitely come to tru their rotating flavors.

Amazing ice cream but the large canvas painting on the wall smells very strong and is very off putting. Toasted smoreo was delicious and a good blend of Oreo and s'mores. My friend complained that the Oreo chunks were too big but I liked it.

I was so excited to see they opened an LIC location, as a fan of their Brooklyn location. I love their unique rotating flavors and the hot fudge is among the best I've had as far as local ice creameries. They offer a few seats indoors and there are benches outside that are a bit harder to snag than the indoor seats. In addition to the ice cream offerings for humans they also have a doggie ice cream option which must be good because our pup barely looks up once she starts!

I have previously ordered individual ice cream servings (cups/cones) which have all been phenomenal but the cake prompted me to write a review. Ordered a birthday cake which could not have come out better. Chose grasshopper pie and chocolate Oreo with an Oreo layer. Classic white frosting and sprinkles. This cake was delicious. One of the best cakes I've ever had. The service could not have been friendlier and accommodating when designing the cake. Just allow for approximately 3 days. A great store with amazing ice cream and now my go to ice cream cake spot.

We've been here a few times, there are limited seats inside (not really any tables). I think it's more of a grab and go place. They have ice cream and smoothies! We tried the energizer smoothie (it tasted like strawberry and bananas) and it was pretty refreshing. You can also create your own smoothie. There was one person working on a Sat afternoon so when there are a couple people in line there can be a wait especially since the smoothies take some time to make as opposed to the ice cream. The smoothie was about $9 and 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup was about $6-7.

Tried the Bean town buzz which is coffee with delicious crunchy coffee beans, I liked it so much I found myself digging for beans around my cup. Chocolate moose was smooth chocolatey goodness can't go wrong. The only thing strange was the seating area, there were short chairs next to high table and tall stools next to a low window. That area could be made a little more welcoming, but they did have good AC which was nice during a heatwave. Prices weren't too crazy, I'll def be back for more!

So happy they opened in my neighborhood - great place to grab a scoop or two on your way to Gantry park. Love the peanut butter oreo and coffee ice cream (beantown buzz) on the Rice Krispie cone.

After seeing the "#1 in Boston" sign out front in LIC, we had to stop in just because we found that funny. And wow - am I glad we did! Hands down, the toasted s'moreo flavor is one of the best flavors I of ice cream I have ever had - all of the different elements shined through perfectly in harmony, and it was absolutely delicious. The other flavors were good as well, but the s'moreo is so good I don't know if I'd ever get anything else. Absolutely incredible and a must have!

But the taste is great, the portions are huge, and it's definitely worth it! Pistachio: The pistachio flavor is very strong, even a bit salty. Those who like it will love it, while those who don't might find it strange--for example, my dad thought it tasted like salted fish. No Sugar Added Hazelnut: The best of the bunch. The nutty and creamy aroma of hazelnuts is rich, and because no sugar is added, it's not too sweet. A pure yet exquisite flavor. Strawberry Mascarpone & Ricotta: Amazing! It tastes like strawberry cheesecake! The perfect amount of cheese, combined with the refreshing strawberry jam, is simply wonderful. Cranberry: A very simple fruit sorbet. Most people might find it too sour, but for someone like me who loves sour flavors and had just eaten in Thai restaurant like Tha Phraya, it was perfect. Refreshing, natural, and helps cut through the greasiness.

I settled on the pistachio creme brulee (one flavor). It was a creme brulee base with pistachios mixed in. The texture was a little more liquidy than what I expect from gelato. I liked their personalzed story. This wasn't a chain or franchise nor was it osned by a corporate conglomerate but a " Mom & Pop" shop. When I walked by, it was early in the morning and they weren't open but I planned to return. Yesterday, although it was an unusually cold and rainy afternoon in April and I was thinking, I would have preferred buying a hot cup of coffee, I hallened upon Lilo's and decided tonwalk inside. I was immediately impressed by their incredible selection of ice creams that are written in colorful chalk on the walls of their store! To my amazement, they buy homemade ice creams from all over the country and have, if possible the mighedt selection imaginable. They slso sell soft serve yogurt as well as ice cream and have a very impressive selection of " add ons" ( sprinkles, etc) . I was slso surprised by their selection of different cone options including gluten free and pretzel ! Since I was in the mood for coffee, Sonam, offered me two options, and J chose coffee with cookies. It was DELICIOUS! Having read some of the other reviews, especially some of the negative ones regarding their prices, I did not think that the cost was out of line since you canesdy spend over 10 dollars in domebof these high end ice cream shops. Of course, you could go to Mc Donald's and buy a cone for a dollar but you might not be eating anything that has milk or cream. ! I loved Lilo Creamery and while it's many blocks from where I live, I'll definitely be returning soon!

The original employee ended up apologizing for her coworker's behavior. Accidents can happen, but empathy and professionalism matter. After the hype faded out in the 2010s, I thought I'd never see another Pinkberry again. Imagine my surprise when I saw this place across the street from where I was dining with a couple of friends. It was inevitable that I'd make a beeline for it right after my dinner. As usual, I got the original tart with my favorite mix-ins: a scoop of melted chocolate crunch, cheesecake bites, mochi, strawberry, kiwi, and blueberries. The froyo wasn't as creamy as what I was used to, but it was still really good and satisfying to my craving. Similar to most Pinkberries, the shop itself was a bit small in space, so it's more fitting for a quick visit. Too bad I don't live in NYC, otherwise I'd definitely hit up this spot (and the other Pinkberry shops) a lot more often!

I ordered the dairy-free coconut, which is the only vegan flavor they offer. It tasted pretty good and had a nice creamy texture. I do find it to be expensive and I don't like how they serve it for you. You have the option to get with or without toppings for a standard price, but you're only limited to 4 toppings, and any additional topping is an upcharge. They put the toppings for you with a tiny scoop, so the price difference didn't seem worthwhile in my opinion. There was a line and multiple DoorDash orders going out, so the service was a bit slow, but not a crazy wait time. The shop was pretty small, but has the same frozen yogurt look as other places, with limited seating. Given that there is another frozen yogurt shop legit 2 stores away, I just wanted to provide a comparison. 16 Handles has more vegan options, but tastes more like soft serve ice cream compared to yogurt. It's cheaper, you can control the toppings to ice cream ratio, but it seems like there are usually kids/students around. Pinkberry only has 1 vegan option, tastes more like yogurt, but they're sparse with the toppings and it's more expensive. However, there wasn't any many kids, I assume due to the counter service rather than serving yourself the yogurt. They both provided similar experiences in terms of customer service. Both frozen yogurt shops, though entirely different experiences. I would return here if I wanted more of a yogurt flavor, but wouldn't bother with the toppings. This place, like 16 Handles, is not Ike neighboring upscale ice cream shops in UES. It's cozy, a 2010 yogurt shop vibe, and is solid for casual ice cream. I would return!

The strained yogurt is thick, similar to how you make it at home with press (thick, dry) not as smooth as labneh (which has a more tofu smooth like texture). It is thick, isn't sour, but also doesn't have a super rich in cream flavor. The toppings seem healthily made (canned/ from scratch granola) , but just seemed kind of empty for the price. They would do well with better packaging (smaller, maybe like gelato cups) and a better price point for customized options. It feels healthy and is a good snack. The froyo didn't really catch my eye or taste buds when I sampled. I also got a dubai chewy cookie which was a hit for the bite and surprisingly I was able to share it amongst quite a bit of people.
