Horrible experience. There are much better Peruvian restaurants in Boca. Waitress pushed me to get a special that she insisted was so good. I told her I want healthy and it wasn't. I didn't ask for the price because most of the main dishes where around $19 so how much more could it be. Got my dish and it was 1 split tiny langoustino. It was spicy and not good. I got charged $60 for that rip off dish. They charged it as if they gave me lobster which they didn't. My husband's steak was not good. Service was terrible too. I would give them a 0 if I could. We do love Peruvian food and yes there are much better Peruvian's in Boca. Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant. Very disappointed. read more

We went with friends tonight for a nice dinner and we had a great experience. First of all our server, Matias was amazing, he went through the specials in detail and answered all of our questions with ease and acknowledgment. My friends were stunned by the quality and variety of the Peruvian food. My review is to just drive right on by this establishment. Especially if one has a date, or go eat there if you've come to despise your significant other. Hell, even their web page is incorrect showing an inquiry of the Coral Springs location, when we sat in the Boca location. I knew the night was not going to go smoothly when the wife ordered a coke, and the server Anthony. just plopped a can in front of her, and sprinted off. Didn't even take a second to at least open the can!!!!! Then 30 minutes go by, and he returns "apologizing for the delay in the kitchen, and our food will be out shortly." Our drinks were finished, and we ordered 2 water's with lemons. The water showed, but no lemons in them. Finally, my wifes meal arrives in 40 minutes, and I'm still waiting, and waiting.....and waiting. The wife finished, and I'm still waiting. The server comes out, and apologizes again, and winks at me as he says "The manager will take care of you." I could only reply; "This is terrible service, and we are locals living 2 miles down the road." He comes back out 10 minutes later, apologizes again, and says he will void the plate I ordered. It's not like I ordered some sort of special meal, it was literally the first item number 1 main dish!!! So I ended up spending $48.15 to watch my wife eat, as I sipped my plain old water. I could only think to myself; "It would have been worth it to just wait a little longer for a table, and stay with the great food and service of Casa Tequila around the corner." So it ended up being a Burger King Whopper & Cheese meal across the street, as my wife was discussing with her Russian/Ukrainian group on how bad this establishment really is. read more

We went for lunch today, cannot be happier. The ambiance is modern and nice. The service was excellent, Katiuska was our server, she took well care of us. She made good recommendations and was always looking wether we needed something else. The food was delicious. We had a jalea sunrise to start, it was good! I then ordered the tacu tacu with lomo saltado, I loved it. My husband had the arroz carretillero, he said it was spectacular. Our son had the milanesa de pollo, he liked it and ate it super fast, which is a good sign. For dessert we had the Quinua Creme Brulee, it was amazing. The fruit lemonades are a hit! I absolutely recommend it! Overall, the place is very good, you can feel the owner's taking care of it. We needed something with this high quality in West Boca. read more

My mom and I went here for lunch this past weekend and unfortunately had quite a mixed experience. I arrived 10 minutes early and was initially greeted in a rude tone by the hostess "What do you need?" she says. It was more how she said it than what was said. Anyhow, the waiter was very rude from the start and the overall vibe of the restaurant was very uncomfortable. It seemed like the staff was miserable. The food came out and the first two things we ordered were spectacular. The salmon tiradito with passion fruit sauce was AMAZING. The corvina ceviche was an 8/10 as well. However, we ordered a sushi roll that came out that was the enraña roll but it was far too sweet. We each ate 1 piece and told the server that we did not like it. His response was "Well, you already ate a piece. How do you expect me to take that back?" He eventually took it back after arguing with us and proceeded to fire off dirty looks the entire time and kept asking if we were finished so we would leave. The server's name was Oreste. Overall, I enjoyed the food a lot to the point where I may give the restaurant another shot. Cautiously. I hope they can get their act together with their staff because this restaurant has tremendous potential and is located in a strategically great part of town that is growing quickly. read more

Delicious! Great Service! Jose was excellent at accommodating my dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and soy free so it took a lot of patience for Jose and the kitchen staff to serve me but they were excellent. Friendly, accommodating and the 2 dishes I wound up w were delicious. I had the fresh catch Covina ceviche and the grilled octopus cooked special for me in olive oil without the house sauces. Jose said they are working out a gluten free menu to accommodate the many gluten free patrons and that is coming soon. Currently all of the sushi rolls have Panko but I plan to come back soon and find some gluten free sushi rolls. Hopefully some coconut aminos as soy substitute. The location is great and right next to Greenwise and Home Goods/Marshall's so this is a nice place to break from errands. The patio has nice shade, chairs are comfortable and music is lively. My wife and I went for dinner at a location in Lakeside Center this past Saturday night (Glades Road & Boca Rio Road). As we drove by our intended destination, we noticed a lot of people waiting to be seated. We eventually found a parking spot and noticed that a new restaurant had just opened a few doors down. We took the chance and discovered this GEM...Embarcadero 41. Very nice-looking establishment with an open atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Well-lit without too much noise. We were seated right away and greeted by our server within minutes. We started off with a Jalea Sunrise which was fantastic and plentiful. By this time the manager Fernando had already stopped by to see how we were doing. Fernando assisted my wife and I in choosing our entrees. I decided on the Lomo Saltado, and my wife had the Pescado Con Camrones En Salsa Oriental. Both dishes were Fantastic. Again, Fernando came by to chat with us when we were finished. He mentioned that they had just opened for service about 8 days ago. If E-41 continues to offer this service and tasty food, we will be back on a regular basis. We had a great experience. read more

One of the best meals I've had in a while. We came to happy hour and they had so many choices. Happy hour is 4-7 M-F. Sushi and appetizer deals. We had the ceviche de corvina and acevichado roll. They were outstanding. The flavor was spot on. I was ready to lick the plate. We then had the grilled octopus. I literally don't know how to describe it as it was amazing. It came with potatoes and Peruvian corn. We would have ordered more but we were so full. We will be back next week as we definitely need to explore this wonderful menu. read more

The pisco sours are also first-rate. The only negative side is the noise level. Last time we were there, the place was so loud that it really ruined the experience. Lomo saltado was salty and you couldn't eat it. The chaufa with mariscos was horrible, the taste just wasn't right. Pulpo asado was over salted.
