Sprite not eating vomiting when I brought her in on Sunday really didn't know if she was gonna make it but here she is on the mend
Suzanne O.

Sprite on the mend from parvo in the hospital. She is on a chicken & rice diet for a week.

Spiders and webs in every corner. Uncleaned rooms

!! DO NOT COME HERE!! My dog was having ear issues and clearly uncomfortable, so we needed to get him seen ASAP. Our regular vet was closed, so we called around and were told this place had about a 3-hour wait. Fine. We got there at 9:00 PM expecting that. It is now 4:00 AM. We sat there for 7 HOURS and were NEVER seen. We literally had to leave because we have work in the morning. What's actually insane is that not a single person checked on us the entire time. No updates, no "hey we're running behind," nothing. Just completely ignored while sitting there all night with a dog in pain. When we finally asked for an update, the front desk worker, Emily (long brown hair), was rude, condescending, and had a nasty attitude. She told us we "weren't a priority" and that because other pets kept coming in, we were continuously getting pushed back. So basically, we were just expected to sit there indefinitely with zero communication. And honestly, the place didn't even feel clean. There were spiders and webs in the corners, which just made the whole experience feel even worse. I understand emergency vets get busy, but 7 hours with zero communication, rude staff, being told you're not a priority, and never even being seen is completely unacceptable. I would never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Epic Vets Hospital On November 5, 2025, our world shifted. It became one of the hardest nights we've had to live through, a night that now sits beside the deepest losses our family has known. We were eating dinner when our sweet 11 year old Maddie suddenly went into what looked like a seizure or a stroke. Her little body went stiff, her eyes began bouncing, her tongue and face tightened, and she lost control of her bladder. In that moment, fear took over. We rushed her to the emergency vet praying for a miracle. For about twenty minutes she seemed to be doing better and we had hope. But once she was taken to the back, everything changed. Your team quietly entered the room and asked us to step into a private space. That's when we heard the words no pet parent ever wants to hear: "Maddie didn't make it." Our hearts broke in ways we never could have prepared for. Maddie wasn't just a dog she was our first and only family dog, our third child, the one who taught our kids about unconditional love. She had been with us since she was a tiny puppy and lived every chapter of our lives right beside us. Losing her feels like losing a piece of our home. Through all of this heartbreak, your compassion mattered more than you may ever know. The kindness, tenderness, and respect you showed Maddie and us during the most terrifying and painful moments of our lives will stay with our family forever. You didn't treat her like "just another case." You treated her like a beloved soul. And you treated us like grieving parents, not clients. From the gentle way you spoke to us, to the care you gave Maddie in her final moments, to the softness in your voices when delivering the news. Thank you for trying. Thank you for acting quickly. Thank you for treating Maddie with dignity. Thank you for treating us with patience and compassion. Thank you for sitting with us in our grief, even for a moment. We are devastated and our home feels impossibly quiet now. The absence of her little face, her joy, her warmth is a hole we don't know how to fill. But knowing she was in caring hands brings us a small measure of peace. We wanted to take a moment to offer our deepest gratitude to the team at Epic Veterinary Hospital for your support during the most devastating night of our lives. Thank you for helping us through the hardest goodbye we've ever had to say. With heartfelt appreciation, The Weaver Family

The stinger that incompetent saaiman vet called "blurry"
Charm M.

Update: We're now at our regular vet in Vista because our poor baby's eyes and mouth started swelling up. I'm absolutely furious that this was misdiagnosed -- it's heartbreaking that we had to go through this after being brushed off earlier. And guess what, it was an allergic reaction to the bee sting. You'd think that vet would leave his ego at home and listen to the pet parents. We took our dog to Epic Vet after he was stung by a bee and began vomiting -- which our regular vet recommended us to go to the nearest ER. I even showed Dr. Saiman a photo of the stinger I removed, but he brushed it off, saying the picture was "blurry" and repeatedly claiming, "we don't know what caused it." He kept referring to the sting as a "superficial abrasion," which made me feel like he wasn't listening or taking the situation seriously at all. He spent like 2 minutes tops with us in the room. His attitude came across as arrogant and dismissive, like he thought he was above explaining things to concerned pet owners. Instead of compassion or clear communication, we got indifference. He recommended Cerenia and wipes, but the whole visit felt rushed and condescending. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is the second bad vet experience we've had since moving to Temecula -- and I had hoped Epic Vet would finally be different. Unfortunately, it wasn't. For a place called Epic Vet, the experience was anything but. If you want a vet who genuinely listens, takes your concerns seriously, and treats your pet with care -- look elsewhere.

They got us checked in quickly, kept me informed every step of the way, answered every question I had, and were patient throughout the entire process. My girl has severe anxiety and was in a lot of pain, but everyone treated her so gently and made her feel as comfortable as possible. They also took the initiative to quickly obtain her complex medical history and made sure she received the appropriate care without delay. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly goes above and beyond for both their patients and their owners. They exceeded every expectation I had, and I am so grateful for the exceptional care they provided. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl. I will absolutely return to this hospital if we ever have another emergency or need prompt medical attention. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

How is that 24 hr care? I didn't have time to wait around on a Monday morning when I should be going to work. Finally I called VCA and the woman I spoke to over the phone was very friendly and said I could come in right away. They're really easy to see off the freeway and there's plenty of parking. Customer service was great from the moment I got there. The doctor explained treatment options well and addressed any concerns I had. I would definitely recommend this place if you ever need medical treatment for your pet.

Our two dawgs have been patients here for years (and even at the previous facility with Dr…read more Drelich), and they're always wonderful, but today was over the top. We brought our elderly dawg in to discuss end-of-life options for him at his advanced age and sudden health slide, and it was decided quickly that today would be the day to put him down and save him from his suffering and ongoing (soon to increase) health issues. Explaining the process was expected -- the rest of the visit and what came after was not and is WHY this place deserves more positive reviews. Not only were they caring and cleared a space for us to sit and say our goodbyes with zero pressure or rush of any kind, they could not have been more caring towards my son, the actual owner of the dawg, Beef. The visit was sad and we said our goodbyes and such, but their kindness and multiple offers of comfort was beautiful -- everything from offering us water, to giving us all the time in the world without even having made an appointment. We left our Beefy there with them to return to us, having chosen a box for cremation. What we received back was beyond anything I expected -- not only was the box shined up and beautiful, but they had included a copy of an explanation of Rainbow Bridge, a tiny pack of Kleenex, a package with a tuft of Beefy's fur, a clay paw print, an engraved name plaque, and a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in his honor. I didn't expect such a beautiful care package in his honor and we were all touched and surprised at the detail included and care it takes to provide something like this for the grieving family. It was very sweet of them. Also, there isn't a single vet there that we haven't had a good experience with. They're highly knowledgeable, caring, and they have always been willing to go above and beyond to be sure our dawgs are comfy and cared for.

I would never return to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital even if the visit were free…read more My 3-year-old Shiba Inu went in only for a blood test. He was nervous and crying a little, but he has always been somewhat anxious during vet visits. We have been bringing him there for the last 3 years and he never had serious issues afterward. This time, the vet was unable to take the blood sample and brought him back to us. After the visit, my dog suddenly developed severe diarrhea -- 5 times during the day and 3 more times during the night. He also lost his appetite for two days and became lethargic. Before this visit, he was a healthy dog with a normal appetite and no history of diarrhea problems. The next day I asked the clinic if they had used any calming spray, medication, or sedation because his behavior and physical condition changed so dramatically afterward. They completely denied using anything. What upset me even more was the response from the female vet, who said: "Don't blame me, blame your dog, he has anxiety." That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of showing concern and saying something like, "Please bring him back so we can check why he feels sick," I felt like they simply brushed the situation aside. I understand some dogs get nervous at the vet, but something clearly changed after this visit, and I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and with zero confidence in returning there again.

Every time I have come in I have seen familiar faces and new faces. Every time I meet someone new they're kind. The familiar faces are always so joyful to see my guy. It warms up my heart and my pups too! I have consistently seen Dr. Stark and she is amazing. I have more recently seen Dr. Padilla for an urgent allergic reaction. I called ahead of time and told them about the rapid progression of my pups allergic reaction. They were able to see him right away. They are familiar with him and were happy to take care of him and did so urgently. Dr. Padilla came out and explained her diagnosis and differentials. She was mindful to not ignore the differentials. She mentioned red flags to be aware of and precautions moving forward. She let me know the potential side effects of his cortisone and anti histamine medications, what to do if it worsens, and if it stays the same. She was thorough and informative. Honestly, I wanted to hug her! I was so worried. I was also very thankful that I brought my puppy in closer to closing time and they did not rush the treatment at all. They even mentioned keeping him an hour to monitor and said I could run an errand and come back. They just want to make sure the meds work accordingly as injections should have a much more rapid onset. Thank you to everyone at this location. I've been going to Banfield for years across many different states with my last doggy. So without a question I stayed with Banfield with my new puppy. You guys are awesome!
