Years ago, I brought a ring in to resize, to make it larger. It was my engagement ring, over 100 years old. After my son was born it didn't fit anymore. Not only didn't they enlarge it and just gave excuses why it wouldn't fit, but there was gold missing from the back and the band was super thin. It wasn't any bigger when I went to pick it up the first time and the stupid woman there said it wasn't fitting because it's "so hot" that day. Riiiiiight.... So I didn't pick it up or pay, because it didn't fit. I gave them another chance. After that, she tried the same scam. Then I noticed the gold missing on the back. We took it to a trustworthy jeweler (Jared) and they said gold had been removed from the back. They said it was obvious and a common scam. read more

A very special necklace that I wear every day had the jump ring break as I was putting it on this morning. I called soon after they opened and learned that they have a jeweler on the premises. He said he could repair it for me today, but I would have to drop it off and come back for it later today. No problem at all! I was happy to be able to have it back the same day. Eminence is everything we could hope for in getting the repairs we needed. We called to double check on their services and received a welcoming response that encouraged us to go there for our ring resizing as well as new batteries for our watches. They were very helpful and efficient in determining our need and completing the work expertly and rapidly. They installed the battery in one watch while we waited, but found an issue on the other watch that required additional work resulting in a couple days to complete. Our rings sizes were determined and our rings enlarged to the right size that evening. We were able to pick them up the next day - bright, shiny and a correct fit. My brother actually recommended this venue because they fixed his watch in less than a minute. I came in for two problems: battery change and size adjustment. Both fix was $10 each, which I think was a little overpriced. On the other hand, the customer service was just phenomenal. This place is amazing! I broke a necklace, a Christmas present, about an hour after I got it. It was just a link, but they told me to bring it down. I hadn't even bought it there, but they were so nice, and gracious, they let me in, and fixed it in under a minute! I tried to look around at their gorgeous jewelry selection, but they fixed it so fast, I didn't even finish! So much sparkle in one place, it's an awesome store. I had an heirloom ring that had lost a small center pearl. Other jewelers were unable to help when I stumbled on Eminence Jewelers while at another store in the shopping center. They took the time to examine the ring which had to be cut from my finger (without a problem), and determine what size pearl was needed and what other work needed to be done to restore the ring so that I wouldn't lose any of the the other stones in it. It took over 3 weeks for him to rebuild the prongs around the stones, replace the pearl and resize it but my ring is more beautiful than it has been in 30 years, and I'm confident that I won't lose any of the stones. read more
