I love this spot Can't give it a 5 right now, a bit disorganized sometimes The food is awesome, but not always consistent, besides that the service is great and it's a really good spot that's always open. They have an awesome dinner deal $45 a person with a free bottle of wine.

We went here for breakfast as an alternative to some others we had been to. It's a really cute breakfast place and we all really enjoyed it. We were amazed how great a value it was. We all had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of white toast with butter and jams, 4 links of sausage, and home fries for only 11.99. We each got orange juice and coffee. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. Large portions, too. The orange juice was a little bitter and coffee average. Those could be improved upon. Aside from those, everything else was good. Good and attentive service. Clean and comfortable dining room. They also serve alcohol so if you wanted a mimosa, for instance, that would be an option. Sorry to see the bad reviews, but I can only imagine they must be disgruntled ex employees because the experience was so good here for us. We'll definitely be back!

I am a huge Emmily's fan! They are the perfect, small-town breakfast spot. Every time we go, they're incredibly busy, yet we've never had to wait for a seat...the restaurant is bigger than it looks! It's also so charming and cozy...the perfect vibe for a Sunday brunch. The service is always quick and kind, and they're always so flexible with their menu items. They absolutely satisfy that diner craving while elevating the classic diner food. Their homefries, for example, are some of the best I've had. Although homefries are a necessary side at diners, they're rarely seasoned well given their dry nature, but Emmily's knows how to season them all the way through! Another example, they have French toast but they also have cinnamon roll French toast! A little fun/experimental sprinkled in with the traditional-but-done-exceedingly-well diner experience. Honorable mention #1 to their grilled breads. They nail a consistent, golden toast every single time, and their grilled croissant is a must-try. #2 goes to their corned beef hash...it's heaven.

I have never been to Emmily's and I've been in NP for 20 years I have my go to spots and was hoping to add this one to the list. I had found out about this spot because my son has good allergies and breakfast spots can be scary with his allergies. We called and asked if they could accommodate him and they said absolutely just let the server know when you get here. That was awesome because I always end up taking him somewhere for lunch because breakfast has a lot of peanut butter Nutella walnuts ect. We got there and seemed to be plenty of seating it was fairly busy. We came in with 4 people and were only given two menus I thought that was weird but whatever. Our waitress was a young girl friendly and was great about getting me info on the drinks for any cross contamination for allergies in the chocolate syrup we couldn't get much info so settled for two orange juices and two hot coffees. I ordered the hash Benedict it comes with home fries. My son with allergies ordered the emmiy's special it comes with eggs, toast, home fries and French toast, my mother and my older son ordered the country breakfast it comes with eggs mixed with ham, toast &home fries. I'll start with the Benedict it came out looking great but turned to disappointment once I started to dig in the eggs were over cooked both the hash hand no flavor and neither did the Hollandaise sauce home fries we just ok. My son with allergies next he doesn't eat eggs so I split them with my older son they were ok could use some ingredients kind of bland same home fries ok he said the school French toast was better ouch. The other two meals I guess were ok the ham was definitely the canned crap but same my mother said her toast was cold. Trying to get refills on the hot coffee was not easy most breakfast places will circle around refilling peoples coffee our waitress was had to find after getting our food. I had to ask a food runner to get me a pouched egg that wasn't overcooked and some extra hollandaise sauce. The place is quite big inside with plenty of seating but I think it doesn't work well if you need assistance. I ordered a second oj when I got the bill I can say I've never paid such a high bill for breakfast. The only reason this place didn't get 1 star is because they can accommodate my son's allergies and didn't kill him and our waitress was nice. $88.46 was the total for mid food. We won't be back. Oh I almost forgot the upcharged every meal a dollar because of egg costs but did not mention it ahead of time they said a note was stapled to the menu it was not there.

This place makes consistently delicious and well executed food. They cover a range of classic breakfast fair to innovative and interesting specials. There is literally something for everyone, and it's all done really well. Service is efficient and friendly. You know this place is popular when it is always busy during breakfast hours. It's definitely worth a try.

They put much thought and detail into their cocktail menu here and many can be made into equally pretty mocktails as well. Brad took care of us while there and he was the best! We sat at the bar for hours enjoying his company and his amazing drinks! This spot is also adorable. The bar is chic and pretty, but the lounge setting is unmatched! It's upscale and elegant and can't be perfect for a fancy night out or also a casual (but pretty) drink at the bar. We got some really good pizza while there, and heard they will be changing up their menu soon and can't wait to come back and try that as well. The upstairs space is also really special! It was stunning and I'm so glad we checked it out. I'm already plotting how it would be perfect for the book club I'm in! We walked out through the event space since it was snowing and was obsessed with the tree house vibes leading out to the parking lot. This venue is amazing. I will be back for their next specialty cocktail menu and their new food items for sure! Thanks Brad and all the staff we spoke with for an amazing experience!

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

The added bonus to the nights excitement was the Real Housewives of Rhode Island premier. I felt like I was watching my family (especially the "aunties"). They had a host for the the night, a DJ, and there was a table setup (free for everyone) with a 'charcoochie' board (pronounced in my RI accent) and Prosecco. We started off with a dirty martini (Grey Goose) and glass of Proseco; I like my martini extra dirty just in case you wanted to know. We like feeding EACH OTHER so we decided to go for the Bang Bang Cauliflower, Sweet Chili Wings (to make it messy), and Barbecue Chicken Pizza. The tempura style cauliflower was crispy with layers of flavor. The wings were perfectly crisp and the sauce was 'bangin' (pronounced in my RI accent)! I enjoyed the Sicilian style pizza. I'll def be back to try the Gnocchi Chicken Marsala!

Once things got going, the service itself was friendly and attentive. The food, however, was a different story. We ordered simple hamburgers, and both came out either wrong or missing ingredients. My burger was supposed to have crispy prosciutto and diced pepperoncinis--neither was on the plate. When I mentioned it, the kitchen sent it back out with limp prosciutto and a side of pepperoncinis, not even on the burger. To the owner's credit, he stepped in, apologized, and had a new burger made. The replacement was tasty, and the staff continued to apologize throughout the night. They even gave us a $20 gift card for the trouble, which we appreciated. It's a really nice place, and when the kitchen is on its game, the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back--just on a less crowded night.

It has almost a cult-like following after reading the reviews. In my experience, everything I have ordered was okay ... but nothing incredibly amazing vs. the price. I have not seen higher menu prices outside of Manhattan. Two sandwiches and one beer came to $78 after the tip. You read that correctly ... a burger with fries, a pulled pork sandwich with side salad and the cheapest draft beer on the menu ... $78!!! The wings/tenders were over $20 ... in fact, other than the side upgrades, nothing on the menu was under $20. If you are charging $25 for a 'diner burger' and fries, it better be an amazing burger. Mine was no better than Five Guys and less tasty than a Shake Shack. Given the prices, one wouldn't expect that you'd get potato chips with your burger. In order to get French fries ... it's a $5 upcharge. A side salad is $9. I don't mind paying more for quality ... and Blackie's quality is probably high as their meats, vegetables, potatoes, etc. all list the origin place. However high the quality is, for me anyways, the food doesn't seem much different taste-wise, than anywhere else that is much less expensive. Having said that, the portions are huge. The nachos look like they are meant for an entire table and everything is served on metal cafeteria-style trays. Good for them though because the place is huge and always packed. The crowd here is very typical 'Rhode Island'. Expect to see a lot of anchor tattoos, lifted Jeeps with no doors in the parking lot, young 20 - 40 year old crowd who probably played high school football or baseball back in the day and still enjoy telling stories about it. There are no shortage of cross-fitters here. There is a nice buzz of conversation and energy ... but this is not the place you want to go if you don't like crowds. Inside is weird. The walls are painted black and the chairs/tables look like something in a boutique hotel. It looks a little more like a corporate hotel lobby or wedding function hall vs. a restaurant ... especially given the typical crowd. This is not the sports bar it appears to be on the outside. Overall, my 3-stars may seem harsh. But that's an average score ... and honestly, my food has always been average. Maybe I need to try the pizza. If you have deep pockets and like huge portions, you probably won't be disappointed in this place. The service is great, although 2 people working a packed bar, you will wait a bit if you need anything. Also, I came to watch the big game and for some reason they hung pendant lights which dangle down from around the bar. While they make everyone look better, the TVs are blocked by the lights. Very odd.

The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible.
