I love this spot Can't give it a 5 right now, a bit disorganized sometimes The food is awesome, but not always consistent, besides that the service is great and it's a really good spot that's always open. They have an awesome dinner deal $45 a person with a free bottle of wine.

We went here for breakfast as an alternative to some others we had been to. It's a really cute breakfast place and we all really enjoyed it. We were amazed how great a value it was. We all had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of white toast with butter and jams, 4 links of sausage, and home fries for only 11.99. We each got orange juice and coffee. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. Large portions, too. The orange juice was a little bitter and coffee average. Those could be improved upon. Aside from those, everything else was good. Good and attentive service. Clean and comfortable dining room. They also serve alcohol so if you wanted a mimosa, for instance, that would be an option. Sorry to see the bad reviews, but I can only imagine they must be disgruntled ex employees because the experience was so good here for us. We'll definitely be back!

I am a huge Emmily's fan! They are the perfect, small-town breakfast spot. Every time we go, they're incredibly busy, yet we've never had to wait for a seat...the restaurant is bigger than it looks! It's also so charming and cozy...the perfect vibe for a Sunday brunch. The service is always quick and kind, and they're always so flexible with their menu items. They absolutely satisfy that diner craving while elevating the classic diner food. Their homefries, for example, are some of the best I've had. Although homefries are a necessary side at diners, they're rarely seasoned well given their dry nature, but Emmily's knows how to season them all the way through! Another example, they have French toast but they also have cinnamon roll French toast! A little fun/experimental sprinkled in with the traditional-but-done-exceedingly-well diner experience. Honorable mention #1 to their grilled breads. They nail a consistent, golden toast every single time, and their grilled croissant is a must-try. #2 goes to their corned beef hash...it's heaven.

I have never been to Emmily's and I've been in NP for 20 years I have my go to spots and was hoping to add this one to the list. I had found out about this spot because my son has good allergies and breakfast spots can be scary with his allergies. We called and asked if they could accommodate him and they said absolutely just let the server know when you get here. That was awesome because I always end up taking him somewhere for lunch because breakfast has a lot of peanut butter Nutella walnuts ect. We got there and seemed to be plenty of seating it was fairly busy. We came in with 4 people and were only given two menus I thought that was weird but whatever. Our waitress was a young girl friendly and was great about getting me info on the drinks for any cross contamination for allergies in the chocolate syrup we couldn't get much info so settled for two orange juices and two hot coffees. I ordered the hash Benedict it comes with home fries. My son with allergies ordered the emmiy's special it comes with eggs, toast, home fries and French toast, my mother and my older son ordered the country breakfast it comes with eggs mixed with ham, toast &home fries. I'll start with the Benedict it came out looking great but turned to disappointment once I started to dig in the eggs were over cooked both the hash hand no flavor and neither did the Hollandaise sauce home fries we just ok. My son with allergies next he doesn't eat eggs so I split them with my older son they were ok could use some ingredients kind of bland same home fries ok he said the school French toast was better ouch. The other two meals I guess were ok the ham was definitely the canned crap but same my mother said her toast was cold. Trying to get refills on the hot coffee was not easy most breakfast places will circle around refilling peoples coffee our waitress was had to find after getting our food. I had to ask a food runner to get me a pouched egg that wasn't overcooked and some extra hollandaise sauce. The place is quite big inside with plenty of seating but I think it doesn't work well if you need assistance. I ordered a second oj when I got the bill I can say I've never paid such a high bill for breakfast. The only reason this place didn't get 1 star is because they can accommodate my son's allergies and didn't kill him and our waitress was nice. $88.46 was the total for mid food. We won't be back. Oh I almost forgot the upcharged every meal a dollar because of egg costs but did not mention it ahead of time they said a note was stapled to the menu it was not there.

This place makes consistently delicious and well executed food. They cover a range of classic breakfast fair to innovative and interesting specials. There is literally something for everyone, and it's all done really well. Service is efficient and friendly. You know this place is popular when it is always busy during breakfast hours. It's definitely worth a try.

I've been there twice now and their food is amazing and the ambiance and hospitality are so very rare. You walk in and it feels like being invited to a family dinner. First time I had the Lobster Pescatoré. Was fantastic. Tonight I had their special Rack of Lamb. They asked how I wanted it and delivered perfectly. The chef/owner Luigi is a really friendly older man from Italy. He's the real deal and he runs an amazing restaurant and kitchen. He once told us that he goes to the market at dawn every day to pick out the choicest produce. Everything is made fresh. The Place isn't fancy, but they've made it nice with the space they have. It is a hidden gem. They serve only beer and wine, soda and water. I've only gotten half carafes of Cab. But the chef came out and had shots of homemade limoncello with us before and gave us complimentary Bruschetta. Rumor is they get their bread from Buono Italian Bakery in Providence. I've been there for double dinner dates and dinner with the kids. I highly recommend.

While the space is inviting, I personally feel the televisions take away from the otherwise refined atmosphere and give it more of a neighborhood‑bar feel. My wife ordered the Pollo Limone, and I had the Linguine Shrimp Scampi--both dishes were flavorful and very enjoyable. What stood out most was the décor. The restaurant's setting in a beautifully restored Victorian home creates a charming ambiance and makes it an ideal choice for a date night. Highly recommended for a romantic evening out. We will definitely be returning soon.

The host seemed surprised to see us despite being right on time for our reservation but we were seated right away after a quick exchange. Our server Erik came right over with a smile and continued to be a consummate professional throughout the evening. I wish I could have him be my server everywhere I go. We started the night with some seasonal cocktails. The spiced pear old fashioned was to die for. Complete with a solitary large cube and balanced flavors it was delicious. Our table had veal parm, linguine and white clam, and lasagna. Each dish was fresh and executed perfectly. It's a garlic lovers paradise but never overpowering, in a way any Nonna would approve. For dessert we split a slice of limoncello cake. The cake was so light and fluffy it was like eating air. Even the frosting was light enough where it didn't feel like we were stuffing ourselves to finish it. It's a smaller place so it gets busy quickly and can be a little loud. I would highly recommended a reservation as I don't think you'd have much luck getting a table on a weekend.
