It's the new Korean restaurant at the Brandon Crossroads shopping center on Badlands Drive. It's in the large space that was once the Rolling Pin & Vine Vegan. You'll see it from the Brandon Parkway after exiting the ramp from the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway. I believe "e-mo-ne" translates to "Auntie's House" in English. It's family-owned which makes it a very appropriate name. I'd been wanting to visit it for a while. Today was the perfect opportunity for an early Birthday lunch. It would end up being a great choice for both of us. You either order at the counter, or at the automated ordering system. The nice lady at the counter was very helpful in describing the menu items to us. She said to sit anywhere and she'll bring it out to the table when it's ready. In the meantime, I had a look around the market which is stocked with all kind of goodies. They even sell their homemade banchan to include a squid salad that looked amazing. There's a long freezer case full of cool looking ice cream desserts. It's stocked full of Korean snacks, noodles, frozen foods, and so much more. If you're looking for a place specializing in Korean products, then this it. I also need to comment about the décor and ambiance. Everything is decorated so warmly with different seating options (short or high top tables). The boba cup planter shelf is so cute! The food was fresh and full of flavor. We absolutely loved the fried pork mandu. The dipping sauce was wonderful. Even the white rice was perfect. Loved it! The pork belly and beef bulgogi portions are huge. I honestly don't know how anyone can say that the value isn't there. We had more than enough for 2 meals each. I think I received a whole head of lettuce. Lol! There sure is plenty of it left to wrap up the rice & pork belly for another meal. My husband felt the same way with his meal of beef bulgogi. Oh, and the ssam-jang sauce brought the perfect amount of flavor to the pork belly. I didn't want to forget to mention that. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items. I think I'll try the chicken wings or maybe even the pork bulgogi next time. It's a great place for takeaway orders as well. They use very sturdy containers. It's in a great location. I love that this block of Providence by the mall has such a great variety of Asian options. I really don't feel a need to drive into Tampa anymore to satisfy my craving for it. This restaurant is bright, clean, and decorated absolutely adorably! It has a little market that is just as adorable. I feel there is a need for Korean food in the Brandon area, so this is a welcome addition. The staff were friendly and attentive. We tried the Simple Beef Bulgogi Deop-Bab, the beef mandu, and the chicken jap-chae. The mandu were wonderful. The beef bulgogi was decent. The jap-chae is worth coming back for. The noodles were springy and well seasoned, it was loaded with veggies, and the portion was large. I did find it a tad on the pricier side. Additionally, they were out of quite a few of the banchan options, so that was a little disappointing. I will definitely be back for the jap-chae, the mandu, and to try the things I haven't. read more

Great staff, easy ordering, clean and well-organized + teriffic food! We had Jajangmyeon: thick, chewy noodles vegies, beef and a fried egg on top. Also, an order of Japchae: sweet potato noodles with a considerable amount of vegies. Both dishes were new to us and both were equally delishish, served pipping hot and fresh. ** I would ask for extra vegies in the Jajangmyeon. There is also a small mini-mart area that has a wide varity of interesting and tasty looking treats! We heard of this place and wanted to try it out since we are huge fans of Korean food. I saw they had many staple food items and soups! This location sits across from the Buffalo Wild Wings on Causeway. Very easy to find but parking lot is smaller but able to find nearby parking. You order and pay first and then go seat yourself and everything gets brought to you. Staff is very kind and helpful. They also have a fridge of drinks if you wanted them. There is a discount if you pay cash. Beef kimbap: 5/5, best thing there. Galbi: 2/5, taste was okay. Bonchon: 2/5, it was very fermented. Jjampong: 3/5, you can literally taste the wok and it was a good flavor. Overall, it wasn't bad. 3.5/5 total visit. It was definitely more on the expensive side. $100+ for four people. Brand new Korean spot in Brandon! Have been waiting for this place to open ever since I saw the banner a few months ago. First impressions: cute interior, plenty of seating and decor is the usual k-street vibe. The lady at the register was super kind and welcoming. She did awesome. We ordered kimchi jjiggae, samgyupsal, and jjajangmyun. Every person I've talked to that has come here says basically the same thing: the lack of banchan that comes with a meal priced at $17-18+ bucks is insulting. I've never in my life had to pay separately for Kimchi and that was shocking to me. Kimchi jjiggae was flavorful, but overall too salty. I was pleasantly surprised to see so much pork and tofu added in. They did not skimp on that. Samgyupsal was good, just wish it came with a few garlic, maybe 2 banchan should be included in that meal. Especially when you can pay for all you can eat pork belly right down the street for similar lunch price. Jjajangmyun was too sweet in my opinion. I don't think this is an issue for this establishment specifically but really just my tastes buds. I just got back from Korea a month ago and I also remember the jjajangmyun had gotten sweeter at my favorite place too. The sugar trend is crazy. Overall, I will try the kimbap next time and am curious to see what they will have for sale in the market area. I hope this place does well read more

This restaurant just opened where the vegan restaurants used to be. The staff are still learning how to run the register but everyone is very nice and welcoming, especially the owner. The owner makes her own kimchi and ages it for several days for the best flavor. The interior is very nice. There is plenty of seating. Parking lot is fine. Lots of parking. They will eventually have a market inside (2-3 more months). The food tastes homemade. Everything is great. My kimchi jjigae tasted amazing. It's a little on the sweet side but it's good. The pork in it is tender. The bibimbap was good. I like how the owner tries to offer as many options for vegetarians as she can so you do have to add on protein to all of the dishes that have add on proteins. Things I don't like: all the bowls are disposable paper bowls and the utensils are plastic. I need a good long Korean spoon for my soups! read more

Service was excellent, I ordered on the PC and was still approached to ask about any allergies and to see if I wanted it packaged to-go in case I didn't eat it all. It's charming inside and plays K-POP of course. So cute. The Tteokbokki : 8/10. I was wanting something a little more from it, either more spicy or more savory but as an introduction for people who haven't had it - it's a great choice. Not overly seasoned and the texture was perfect!! Gimbap: 10/10. I got this as a "balanced" selection since all I wanted was fatty wings and carbs to at least get a little veggie in and I was SHOCKED that it was my favorite part of my meal. So much umami flavor and balanced so well with the pickled veggies, rice cooked to perfection and the seaweed wasn't too moist or dry. Perfection. Chicken wings: 10/10 also. The sauce was SO sweet and garlicky and the crunch from the outside of the wing was amazing. They're cooked perfectly. I did spend about $51 after tip for all of these dishes and I'd say if you wanted to treat yourself to a nice lunch with leftovers you can bring home and eat later - it's the perfect option. read more

First time trying this place. It didn't disappoint us. The service is good, the server is very attentive and helpful with food choices. The interior is actually bigger than what you see from the outside. They have good amount of seating arrangements and nice decors. The meals that we had are delicious, authentic style Korean dishes. And they serve good size portion. More than what you can eat. Depending on how hungry you are. We met the cook, a nice korean lady, who is also the owner of the restaurant. She did a fantastic job. She mentioned about having a mini market in front of the restaurant, that is coming soon. I'm glad that Brandon is starting to have more restaurants like this. We need more varieties of restaurants in this area, so we don't have to travel far to find good places to eat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Try it!! read more

I have been so tired of going far out into Tampa to get Korean food or I'm missing my grandma's food... as soon as I saw that Emone was open I went the same day and splurged. It was the best decision. I tried their jjajangmyeon, tteobokki with fish cakes, and jangpyeon. All of it was incredibly yummy, super flavorful, and everything you want in traditional Korean food. I couldn't decide between 2 or 3 stars. Very disappointing. Only reason I'm giving 3 is because there were a couple of dishes that were good. Bibimbap, kimchi jigae with pork, tteokboki were all tasty. But here's the bad. Tteokboki was a pretty small portion size for $14.75. Bao buns with pork and jajjangmyeon were rather plain. Galbi was awful. Marinade is not right. Could not believe we paid $29 for that and didn't even get banchan (side dishes). Usually banchan is included with Korean meals. Not here. You'll pay for each side you want and the choices are limited. The cafe is cute and looks like they will have small section for selling popular Korean snacks. However, I can't imagine what pricing will be considering how much they are charging for the prepared food. I can get Galbi at a regular Korean restaurant for around $30-$35 with all the banchan I can eat and it tastes much better. Service will hopefully improve but our experience wasn't that great.
