Brand new Korean spot in Brandon, FL. Plenty of seating. You order at the counter and then take your seat. The staff will bring your order to the table. We've slowly been trying all of the dishes and so far so good. Definitely worth a try if you are in the Brandon area and need a Korean food fix! They are still new, so I'll update my review once they have had some time to find their rhythm.

This restaurant just opened where the vegan restaurants used to be. The staff are still learning how to run the register but everyone is very nice and welcoming, especially the owner. The owner makes her own kimchi and ages it for several days for the best flavor. The interior is very nice. There is plenty of seating. Parking lot is fine. Lots of parking. They will eventually have a market inside (2-3 more months). The food tastes homemade. Everything is great. My kimchi jjigae tasted amazing. It's a little on the sweet side but it's good. The pork in it is tender. The bibimbap was good. I like how the owner tries to offer as many options for vegetarians as she can so you do have to add on protein to all of the dishes that have add on proteins. Things I don't like: all the bowls are disposable paper bowls and the utensils are plastic. I need a good long Korean spoon for my soups!

I am rating this a 4 because although the food was good but there were a few things we were a…read morelittle disappointed. We wanted to order kimbop but they were out. They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. We ordered mandu, it was good but a little bit doughy because of the wrap they use, not as crispy as we would expect. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop. Mine came out first and was sizzling hot. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.

The ttukbaegi was sweet (as the boss prefers) and the kkanpungi sauce was good. However, the kkanpungi was not crunchy. Service was very friendly and prompt. Overall, my experience with the daegu tang leads me to this rating.

They have abnormally high backs. Service was QUICK! I ordered their krab rangoon and boy was it krabby. The imitation crab should have been chopped a but better as it overpowered the rangoon. I had a lunch special with a spicy tuna toll. It was good. Stuck to the basics. There was nothing that stood out but if you're in the neighborhood and craving sushi you can pop by.

I decided to drop in for lunch after shopping at Bealls. I immediately noticed that the booth seating across from the sushi bar had torn and tattered cushions. This is the beautiful bright green cushioned seating that I remember loving after the renovation. It was in desperate need of repair. What made it worse was that I was sat in one of these booths. I picked the side that was least torn. Yes, I could have asked to be seated elsewhere. I just didn't know if all the booth seating was the same way, so I went with it. The service was good. The passion fruit tea and the clear chicken broth soup were all good. It was the sushi rolls that left a lot to be desired. It wasn't the same quality that I remember. The rolls were small and falling apart. I'm sorry to say that nothing about this experience was happy. I just hope that the BYO poké bowls haven't changed. I'll order one the next time I'm in that plaza.
