I have been dying to try this place out based on all the raves. I had a friend visit from out of town and she was dying for sushi so I brought her here and we were not disappointed. Stella was stellar with her service! She explained the menu and offered suggestions and it was spot on! I enjoyed the Monster Roll and Tiger Roll. My friend had The Godzilla Roll and one other. I fell in love with the Monster and Tiger Rolls so I definitely will have those again but I'm looking forward to trying some other things on their extensive menu in the near future. read more

Love crazy cafe ! Always order from them at least twice a a month ! The only thing I have a problem with recently is that fact I ordered the yellow tail sashimi and I only got two . I believe it would be 3 pieces before now I got two and a whole lot of vegetables . I would rather have another piece of fish then to have all the vegetables that don't got with it . Don't let the location fool you. It's located in a strip mall but is nice inside. This is our favorite Sushi spot in the area. Our family has gone for years now, so much so that the staff has watched our kids grow. We moved out of state 2 years ago but still eat here when we visit. Eva is such a sweetheart and remembers our family. We've tried many items on the menu but our staples are the Pacific Fusion, Sweetheart, Mexican and Caterpillar rolls. This was close to where I was staying so decided to give it a try. Was warmly greeted and ordered the chicken and shrimp Hibachi with side salad to go. We ordered a couple tuna rolls and some spicy tuna as well and a kids hibachi chicken and my son is very picky when it comes to chicken but I can say he actually really enjoyed this meal the noodles were really good too almost had a little too much ginger but no real complaints. I thought it was a solid 4 stars on the food and 5 stars for the service. The service was fantastic! This was our first visit. I definitely need to revisit and try more menu items. This experience was good. I wasn't expecting it to be a large dining area with lots of booth seating. That surprised me. The tables all have a beachy table top theme. Everything was very clean. They have lots of menu items including hibachi and sushi. We started with the fried gyoza which were crispy and yummy. It was a very large portion. We also got the vegetable tempura. It was a lot of appetizers. We should have ordered just one for the 2 of us. It was all delicious. They brought out a couple of different sauces to the table. My absolute favorite was the ginger sauce, and I dipped everything into that sauce. It was one that I don't see very often. Ask for it if they don't automatically bring it to you. I was also super happy with my pot of hot green tea. I'm always happy when I see it served in a teapot. This one was a metal one that kept the tea hot the entire visit. Yay! So, I ended up selecting 2 fried sushi rolls. Don't ask me how I did that. I normally try to get one that is raw as opposed to cooked. Which means I didn't get to try any of the raw sushi. Dang it! Anyway, these rolls were huge. I usually like mine rolled in smaller sizes. I think the Florida Roll was my favorite of the two. It had big pieces of cooked salmon inside. It was very meaty for a sushi roll. The baked and spicy scallop mixture on top really added to the flavor. The Jaguar roll was good but the eel was hiding inside the roll. I feel like it needed more eel. I also have to say that I struggled to find a specialty roll from the menu. None of them called my name. I'm not a fan of cream cheese in sushi rolls. There's other ingredients that I'd like to omit and I'm sure they would probably do that. I just didn't ask. What I would really like is some kind of sashimi roll with no rice that isn't wrapped in cucumber. The only specialty roll that I think I would like is the Sweetheart roll. That is definitely one that I will try next time. Other than that, it was a very good visit. My husband liked his hibachi entrée. The atmosphere and quantity to price ratio was great. We were pleasantly surprised. I'm looking forward to another visit. Try it if you happen to be in Riverview. read more

I've literally become addicted to this place. It started off as a place my coworkers would always order from when we had leadership meetings. I tried the Hibachi with a mix of chicken and steak (medium well of course) I get mine with double fried rice that I substitute for the noodles depending on how I feel. You can get the soup or the salad . I am a salad kind of girl lol. But what sets this place into another hemisphere being such a small quaint little restaurant is the yum yum sauce. This was my first time at a Crazy Cafe. I have driven by this restayrabt for years and today was the day . This is a full service Japanese Cafe with a friendly staff and cozy seating area. We decided to start with Krab Rangoon and I have to say I was pleased. The pastry on the outside was crisp, not greasy and the filling flavorful. We also enjoyed the dipping sauce. On the recommendation of our waitress, we initially had a waiter, I ordered Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi. The meal comes with a salad and soup. The restaurant offers Ranch dressing, that made my son happy and I had the Ginger dressing. ( it tastes better than it looks in the picture) ( Not everyone likes Ginger, especially younger kids so i never understood restaurants that only offer one dressing ) Bravo Crazy Cafe. My meal was very good. The Chicken was seasoned well, but the Shrimp was the star, sweet and moist and perfectly cooked. I was not a fan of my meal coming out a few minutes earlier then my sons Tempura dinner, or that we had yet a 3rd server. Additionally, I want to point out that the Tempura was good, however the batter lacked flavor. The Tempura sauce should not be a requirement. Overall we enjoyed our visit, we were so special we had 5 different people serve us during our visit, I think a main server and a helper delivering food is sufficient. Well. When we lived in the area 6 years ago it was one of my go -to places. We stopped for dinner last night and will not be back. The service was slow and inattentive to start BUT the worst part was how neither of us like any of the rolls. We both were disappointed in flavor, texture & taste.
