Sunday funday happy hour is 2-6pm so we decided to take advantage of it by sitting by Silver Lake enjoying the weather. We requested for outdoor seating and they accommodated us to one of the tables underneath the umbrella because we were offered a direct-sun table and boyyyy was I starting to sweat. Food we ordered one of the specials: shellfish tower that had avocados with Dungeness crabs with bay shrimps, pineapple mango salsa and wonton crisps (3/5 rating because we didn't really get much seafood as avocados). The rest of the meal we ordered the Caesar salad, the margarita pizza, tequila lime penn cove mussels and a couple of the huckleberry kamikaze! Brian, our server was very attentive and friendly. We asked for crushed red peppers for the pizza and peppercini which came out really quick. The environment was relaxing. Water was always filled every 5 minutes. We left so disappointed. What happened since the last time we dined there? Apparently Anthony's bought the restaurant. My food was pretty much untouched. Worst steak I've ever had. Had to be sent back because it was undercooked and the food was barely warm. They brought it back after I'm guessing putting it in the microwave. Doesn't matter. Barely put a dent in a 62 dollar meal. When asked if I wanted a box I said no. That was it. No manager ever came over to apologize about the way it arrived to begin with. Go to the Keg instead. It's cheaper and way better. I give it two stars due to the servers. They were lovely. read more

I'd consider giving them four stars if they didn't charge me for the olives in my already $12 martini, I was shocked when I saw they charged me - how petty and cheap of them and they didn't say anything when I ordered it. Outside of that, the space is beautiful and even better if you're seated facing the windows to the lake or, better yet, sit outside on the private closed off patio. I ordered a salad with beets and goat cheese and it was very good, but the salad was small. It comes served on a little rectangular plate to make it look appealing. The chicken lettuce wraps are delicious and the portion is just right. The butter lettuce leaves were very fresh and perfect to wrap the chicken and the rice noodles infused with shredded vegetables. This review is strictly on the food. Honestly the ambiance, decor, view and wait staff are great. However I've come a few times for happy hour and dinner and have yet to find a single item worth eating. This is not a cheap place so my expectations level was high. I want to like it but I have been served soppy pizza, appetizers that were lack luster at best... reminded me of heated up frozen food. I had dry chicken the list goes on and on. No flavor or delicate tastes. Very disappointing. I returned pizza and brown butter butternut squash raviolis, both were removed from my bill. They were gracious about this. read more

Saturday 4pm - Parking available. Walked in the front door, greeted immediately. Lakeside al fresco seating? Yup. Hydro racing on Silverlake? Yup. Menus and water. Brian got us a fresh squeezed IPA and an awesome Bloody Mary. Plenty of appetizers to choose from to please any diet or preference (seafood/non-seafood). Ordered the Thai tenders for starters. They were spot on... What an awesome atmosphere. Ordered a pair of the French dips, one tots, one fries. Many side sauces offered. Big sammich. Tots crunchy outside, soft inside and the skinny fries the same. Another round and a box to go for the 1/2 sandwich leftovers. Got an order of the Thai chicken tenders to go for the Mariner's game and watched the end of the races. Service, food and atmosphere - excellent. Did I mention...all on happy hour. We've been going to Emory's before changing hands for 20 years and have enjoyed it. After trying in twice under the new Anthony's umbrella, we are scratching it off our list. Increased prices, fewer choices, inattentive servers, and twice we have received cold entrees when the restaurant wasn't even at full capacity and the servers were standing around chatting. Extremely disappointed as they are in our neighborhood, and we ordered pick up meals a lot during Covid lockdown to help and "do our part" to keep it going. It's sad. read more

Love the atmosphere on a beautiful lake, date night ambience but also great for families. New York steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes and seasonal vegetable which was asparagus were also yummy and cooked well!! Bruschetta was good but different then I'm used too. Mom got the cheesy garlic French dip and really enjoyed it. The appetizer of bread and oil was okay. The oil is very garlicky and my breath was so garlicky even after dinner, so wearing a mask was fun, but it was still good! read more

Went here for Mother's Day brunch today. The food was terrible I was shocked especially since it's owned by Anthony's now. The French toast was burnt my daughter sent hers back but my mother-in-law didn't because she didn't want to say anything. I had the San Juan scramble eggs were way over cooked and my husband had the eggs Benedict which he said was also terrible. We shouldn't have had to pay for any of it. $100 down the drain won't be back. read more

So to begin I know there has been a change in ownership and they decided to keep the name. What you should not keep are the expectations that it is the same place. For starters equipment in the kitchen was not functioning so one person in my party had to only eat fries. Then we got bread rolls towards the end of our meal not at the begining and to make it worse the bread I grabbed was rock hard and non-edible. It was my 25th wedding anniversary and now I have to make it up to my wife. The fish was ok a little dry and the greens had a texture like they were not cooked all the way. The part that bothered me the most was a blond kid walking around staring at people like he was judging them giving everyone a look over then a look of approval or disapproval . My wife and I thought that was a little extra for someone who is supposed to be there to serve and with the prices should have insured a better experience. Overall it wasn't the worst but it left much to be desired. We might come back but will call first to ask if all the kitchen equipment is working before we show up. read more

We went here tonight, it was a wonderful experience they put us on the end of the deck so we would have a fantastic view of the lake! We started out with the Ahi Tuna Poke which was served with a seaweed salad. I was skeptical at first but when I had my first bite I knew I was in heaven!! I also never had raw tuna but they prepared it in such a way that yielded a very smooth texture and taste. I also had a Spinach Salad entree which was delicious! Their customer service was second to none! I am in a wheelchair and all the employees took great pains to help us out by opening the doors to help me and my husband. I wouldn't describe service as welcoming or warm but definitely professional. View was nice. The food was a fail for me. My $50 cut of filet mignon was one of the worst I've had. Gristly, gross looking unseasoned, greasy and tough. Looked and tasted microwaved. Mashed potatoes were ok... tasted like boxed flake type or something you'd get in a hospital cafeteria. My husbands french dip looked a lot better but left him feeling queasy. My eldest got chicken strips she barely touched. Tempura battered but really soggy and greasy. Visited here yesterday. Have not been here in years. Overall, very good. Steaks cooked just right. Seafood was very good. Portions fine. Tastes with sauces rich and delicious. All diners were happy. My side vegetable (green beans) was done just right. Usually sides are not always prefect. This shows attention to detail, making me happier. Prices in line with what was ordered and the venue in general. Minor issue is the parking. Very small lot. A sardine can. There is additional parking down the road. Servers were polite and efficient, even though being very busy that evening. We'll be back. Going out is still a rare treat, but we were pleased. We're glad it's back up and running. Soooo We come here about once a month on average We like the food and the service is always great, until Saturday the 27th Stopped in for a cocktail and small bight. Everything was great until a server ( not ours) Spilled a glass of red wine down my wife's and mine pants. Soaking both of us in red wine and destroying her pants I get it , shit happens but our poor server comes back and tells us that her manager only took $20 off our bill. I'm not a petty person and I was not asking nor did I ask for a discount but that was just insulting ! It was not water but RED WINE ! It ended our night as we where not going Christmas shopping in stained cloths and smelling like bottle of cab Spoke with the manager on our way out and it was just insulting all over again Normally not a big deal but the way this manager handled it has now ended our relationship with this otherwise exceptional establishment So sad but that's the way it goes read more

The views from the balcony of his restaurant is amazing. It's so pretty looking over the lake while eating. The food is delicious, very pleased every time. The service is off and on sometimes, however. His first time I visited we had three different people serving us and they didn't communicate with each other. The second time I visited, my meal came before my appetizer and my friend hadn't received any of her food. But I would still recommend this place, always pleased with the food, and the ambiance is really relaxing. read more

I just think if there are so many servers walking around or hanging out in one spot maybe pay attention to your guests more. We got our food and after that nothing. I made a call from home in Cali and spoke to Barbie who helped me make this reservation before making the trip to Washington to celebrate my daughters college graduation. She was so nice and helpful as my daughter requested this restaurant a place she had always wanted to visit but never had. Perfect opportunity! We showed up an hour early and they accommodated us instantly. We requested to change our inside seating to the patio and was accommodated immediately. We started with Calamari Fritti, Hot Crab Shrimp with Artichoke Dip, and Bruschetta Flatbread. Followed by drinks, and the main course of Filet Mignon, Creamy Seafood Risotto, Top Sirloin Surf And Turf and the Northwest Top Sirloin! A nice visit by management to congratulate my daughter on her graduation was unexpected and just the icing on the cake for an overall outstanding experience that made great great memories. Came here for a birthday dinner with a large group. The menu is underwhelming and it is clear that a chain has taken it over. The. menu is small. Two pages for the menu, four additional pages for drinks and liquor. And while the menu is limited what came out from the limited menu was underwhelming at best. The halibut was salty, the fish and chips was gooey and every person that ordered it only ate the fish inside the breading. The service was decent. Overall just a meh experience. read more

I haven't been back to Emory's since Anthony took over last year. I took wife and in-laws there last night for wife's 60th birthday. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. Most important my wife and her brother are vegetarian and there was not one item on the menu that was labeled veggie. The waiter took the seafood risotto and added vegetables. It had no taste! My sister in law had Chicken Marsala and again no taste. I had seafood risotto and it was excellent. Another item bothered me was my server didn't give me an itemized bill. I had looked on the menu and noted that Anthony adds a 3% tip to your bill. An itemized bill would show that fact and yes I could have asked for it but since I was paying, I didn't want to look cheap. Needless to say I probably will not be coming back. read more

We have come to Emory's many times and have never been disappointed. The meal prices are higher t than other restaurants in the area but none in the area are as good. So...when we decided to have a banquet for 40 of our family and best friends, we immediately though of Emory's and were not sorry. The banquet room was set up nicely, the service staff was fast and friendly and the food was wonderful. During the evening I walked around checking on everyone and all were very happy. The only complaint is some quests ordered beverages that were not covered by the set fee but were not informed of this when they placed and order. No big...everyone had a good time so I was happy to pay the bill. I highly recommend Emory's for your next big or small dinner party. read more

Ordered a NORTHWEST CRAB & SHRIMP SALAD* - romaine, Dungeness crab, shrimp, egg, olives, sweet pepper, tomato, avocado, radish; choice of dressing - 24.5 When the salad came, had no tomato, no egg, and very little crab and shrimp. I asked the waitress about it, she just said "That's the way it comes". Had to show here the menu to just get my egg and tomato. No extra shrimp or crab was brought. Plus "No Bread" After all that when the bill came they charged a $7.00 cover for the band. I was only there for maybe 20 minutes and was leaving. Told the same thing by the waitress and manager. "Cover for the band once they start. This is CRAP. You spent over $35 for dinner and drinks and they still want $7.00 cover. And your food is not right. They should of comped half my bill.
