I made a call from home in Cali and spoke to Barbie who helped me make this reservation before making the trip to Washington to celebrate my daughters college graduation. She was so nice and helpful as my daughter requested this restaurant a place she had always wanted to visit but never had. Perfect opportunity! We showed up an hour early and they accommodated us instantly. We requested to change our inside seating to the patio and was accommodated immediately. We started with Calamari Fritti, Hot Crab Shrimp with Artichoke Dip, and Bruschetta Flatbread. Followed by drinks, and the main course of Filet Mignon, Creamy Seafood Risotto, Top Sirloin Surf And Turf and the Northwest Top Sirloin! A nice visit by management to congratulate my daughter on her graduation was unexpected and just the icing on the cake for an overall outstanding experience that made great great memories. The scene is boarder line romantic with the view on the lake, flowers on all of the tables, low light setting. Great choice of wines reasonably priced. I recommend the Hess Cabernet, full body, smooth taste with little tannins. They offer a variety of food being half a dozen selections of seafood, steaks and even pizza. I ordered the chicken topped with a blend of crab and cheese with a loaded baked potato. (See photo) overall the food was good, I would say great but I felt the chicken was over cooked. I haven't been back to Emory's since Anthony took over last year. I took wife and in-laws there last night for wife's 60th birthday. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. Most important my wife and her brother are vegetarian and there was not one item on the menu that was labeled veggie. The waiter took the seafood risotto and added vegetables. It had no taste! My sister in law had Chicken Marsala and again no taste. I had seafood risotto and it was excellent. Another item bothered me was my server didn't give me an itemized bill. I had looked on the menu and noted that Anthony adds a 3% tip to your bill. An itemized bill would show that fact and yes I could have asked for it but since I was paying, I didn't want to look cheap. Needless to say I probably will not be coming back. read more

We have come to Emory's many times and have never been disappointed. The meal prices are higher t than other restaurants in the area but none in the area are as good. So...when we decided to have a banquet for 40 of our family and best friends, we immediately though of Emory's and were not sorry. The banquet room was set up nicely, the service staff was fast and friendly and the food was wonderful. During the evening I walked around checking on everyone and all were very happy. The only complaint is some quests ordered beverages that were not covered by the set fee but were not informed of this when they placed and order. No big...everyone had a good time so I was happy to pay the bill. I highly recommend Emory's for your next big or small dinner party. read more

They sat our group at a round table that was partially in a walkway. We were crowded, and it was uncomfortable. The menu choices were uneventful, and the food tasted uneventful as well. I enjoyed a delicious meal with a good friend last week and the salads were out of this world!! I had the Shrimp Louie salad and literally was shocked at how fresh, beautiful and big it was! And it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the Chicken Caesar salad and it was fantastic as well. The garlic mashed potato side dishes we ordered were to die for. And the bread and dipping (herbed) oil were soooo good, I even drizzled the oil on my garlic mashed potatoes. I know Anthony's recently purchased Emory's and was worried that Emory's high quality/standards might suffer but the food was better than ever. Can't wait to return! read more

Great ambience, food and staff was excellent! We were celebrating a birthday and this was the perfect spot for our celebration!

Came here for date night to see live music and I'm very glad we did. We found a table in the bar and watched the band sing the night away. They were pretty good and played great music. The waitress was extremely nice and quick to help us out. We ordered some pizzas and wine and both were very good. I really enjoyed the band, food and drinks and will for sure be coming back. We came at 4:30pm on a Saturday without a reservation. The hostess looked at her book for maybe 3 or 4 minutes before she could decided she could squeeze us in (to an empty restaurant!) as long as we promised to not take longer than 2 hours. Once we were seated, we had no further issues. The waitress and the rest of the service staff was friendly and attentive, and the best part was the food! We order appetizers of crab cakes and the mussels. Both were excellent. What guaranteed that I will come back was the entree course. (I'm tech challenged - hope this doesn't delete my previous review of Emory's) - All the covid precautions were taken. - Food was perfect. - Our server, Stacey, was GREAT (although I wished Michael was working that night. He's the best!) - I'm not sure if Kaitlyn is a busser, another server or manager but she was fantastic as well. - Chef Doug coming to talk to us after the meal meant so much and he didn't mind when my service dog licked his shoes. - The new sauce on on the cod is just as scrumptious as the old buerre blanc and it remains my favorite dish in the PNW. I hadn't been to a restaurant since March but it was my 50th birthday and Emory's is my favorite restaurant. It's breaking my heart how Covid is affecting restaurants and their staff (yes, it's affecting everyone but "once a server always a server" so that's where my heart is). Obviously, the food is the star of any restaurant but the interactions with the staff can make or break a meal. Emory's does it ALL so well! The hosts have always made special accommodations for me and shout out to the bar staff who always thank us for coming as we're leaving. First impressions ... the parking lot is ridiculous. Yes, there is valet parking, but on this particular day there was a tow truck blocking a third of the parking lot. I was lucky that there was an open space but I had to work to get my car in there. I met some people in the parking lot who couldn't leave because of the tow truck. This is not the restaurant's fault, but even if the tow truck weren't there, the parking lot is still inadequate for the size of the restaurant. We had reservations and only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. We were upfront with the server that we planned to take a long time to catch up so we were in no hurry whatsoever. We started with cocktails, a moscow mule and their signature black walnut manhattan. Delicious! Our server came back for our order and I repeated that we wanted to take our time between courses. We ordered crab cake and the ahi tuna poke stack. The poke stack was delicious, but a bit unusual for the restaurant style. While we were making our way through the appetizers, the entrees were delivered. I asked the server why they were being delivered when I specifically indicated we didn't want them until we were finished with the appetizers, and he said "I don't know, I was just told to bring them out." I sent them back. We both enjoyed the seafood risotto, although I think the rice was slightly undercooked. I ordered a bottle of Maryhill Vioginier but it was out of stock so they substituted Stags Leap for the same price (a difference of $11). One of the very best bottles of wine we've ever had. We were lucky enough to have stayed late enough to enjoy the live music. Overall, a great experience and I can heartily recommend. read more

Reminds me of Minnesota, or at least dining lakeside in the Midwest. Marketed as a Seafood restaurant, Emory's has so much more to offer. There is a lounge space, outdoor seating and room enough to hold an event, like a rehearsal dinner or retirement party. They offer gluten free options, have a daily happy hour (M-F 2-6pm) (S-U 1-6pm) plus a late night revival sunday - Thursday from 8:30pm to close. Kids are welcome and have their own menu and there are both gluten feee options and a mocktail list available. The latter is pretty cool as actually thought is put into getting creative without adding alcohol. Sealed the Deal: I had the Peppercorn Crusted Gorgonzola Burger and asked for mid rare, more on the rare side (see pic). This is one of the ONLY places that listened and executed PERFECTLY. They did not cautiously cook closer to mid but were right on the money. A million thank you'S. I know what I like and appreciate you accommodating my request. Emory's also has weekly events (except on Sunday) which makes this place a fun evening destination: Monday - Margarita Specials (drink and pizza) Tuesday - Trivia Wednesday - Bingo! Thursday - Acoustic Music Friday-Saturday - Live Music Aside from the great food, service and entertainment, it's just a good feeling spot. If Emory's has transitioned over to Anthony's, I'm not impressed! Walked into the bar by myself at 4:30 this afternoon (3/11/22) to check out the new ownership. Sat at the bar and waited for far too long for someone to take my drink order. When he did finally show up, I said no thanks and left. I get it that Friday after work is busy, but whoever was responsible for the bar patrons was MIA. read more

Atmosphere is great! Perhaps the main reason you'd pay a whole lot more despite their lackluster menu options, and food that seems like were purchased from Costco (that gyoza sure looked and tasted like one). Their happy hour menu is expensive and limited. I think unless they revamp their meal options and lower their HH prices, they'd be losing return customers. In any case, parking is difficult due to their small parking area, but they have valet service. They have different things happening on weeknights , like live music and trivia night, but they stopped doing BINGO. The last time I went about two weeks ago, our waitress looks/acts like she'd rather be elsewhere than working there. First she forgot to bring our drinks, then she didn't come by our table for a good while.... then when it's time to pay, she messed up our rewards. I've lowered my expectations. read more

Ever since Anthony's has taken over Emory's, On Silver Lake, the food has gone downhill. Tonight was an example. The trout was so bland and so much butter on it that I had to remove the butter. The green beans were so stringy that it actually choked me. The rice had a weird flavor. Too their Advantage they did offer to comp my meal, plus give us a free dessert. Sadly does not feel the same since Anthony's took over. Party of 4 took over 2 hrs to complete dinner and we didn't even have dessert. I had the seafood risotto, which the server said was supposed to be really good and it was OK. One of my friends had the salmon which was supposed to be very moist but turned out very dry. Also the menu seems to have been reduced significantly. I hope they turn this around as the view and atmoshere is great. Came for happy hour. Great happy hour deals and wonderful service. We opted to seat outside on the heated patio - it was so peaceful. We watched the sun set on the water and heard the calls of the local birds. Happy hour prices were reasonable. The pizza was quite large - husband ordered a meat pizza (so no sharing) and took half of it home. They had some vegetarian options and quite a few shellfish options. Unfortunately, our clams were sandy. The parking lot attendants are terrible. We ended up trapped between two of them at one point - they seemed to totally ignore us and at one point almost hit our car. read more

No one greeted us when we came in and was busy chatting at the check in stand, it was out first time here and we were trying to figure out if was free seating or if we needed to get sat down. The attitude of the staff (not the wait staff) is cocky and allows to sustain this way because they happen to be the only decent place to eat within a 15 mile radius. The attitude of the front of house and bar is a turnoff. My 77 year old mothers birthday was punctuated by a snotty front of house greeter. They had a great band on a Saturday night and did last call at 10:45 pm while the band was still playing... I visited Emory's for the first time today and it was really nice. The atmosphere was relaxed, the Seahawks game was on and my family & I enjoyed keeping an eye on the score while hanging out & chatting. I tried the Beyond burger which has a vegan patty and it was great! I've been really curious about these meat substitutes I keep hearing about and I was surprised that it tasted just like beef! The tomato jam gave it a really nice flavor too. I love that they offer a vegan burger option! Our server was really friendly and made the visit fun. I'd love to go back in the summer and sit outside with the nice lake view. They also have an enclosed patio with a lake view so I'll have to try that out sometime too. I have been to Emory's twice, both during their happy hour times! It truly is an amazing deal if you get there during HH. My friend and I get a seat on the deck with the sun shining and water right below us. The HH prices are appetizer types with a couple of entrees that range from $6-13 and are definitely worth it. Their Caesar salad, flatbreads, clam chowder were all great! I also tried their chicken lettuce wrap on the last trip, it was great, but was mostly noodles - which I haven't encountered before. I haven't been for dinner so can't comment on that pricing or service but overall I have had a lovely time here with good service, nice view, great pricing, and yummy food! Love hitting this place up for happy hour! Bar seating can get cramped so watch out! The prices are fair and the pizzas are delicious as are the chicken strips. The restaurant side can get busy in the evenings late in the week and on Saturdays so plan ahead! Usually a decent selection of beers and a deep wine list. The seafood is usually fresh but every once and a while you'll get a bite that is a little different; probably an anomaly in the individual piece. Not my first choice for a "fancy" restaurant but, for the area, it tends to be held in a higher regard. Either way, I'd still recommend having a meal here. read more
