WARNING!! This cleaners will deface your clothing. They think it is acceptable to write your name in permanent marker ON your clothing. I am not in Jr. High and this isn't summer camp. They defaced some of my expensive dress shirts with a permanent marker. This is NOT industry standard and is a completely unacceptable business practice. I will never use this place again. I used their wash and fold service and can not recommend it. My mother is elderly and disabled from a recent stroke and a few pieces of clothing had some urine on them as a result. The owner called, demanding to know why, which humiliated my mother and caused a delay in the order being returned, along with an $88 hidden fee not listed on their website anywhere. I regret using empire cleaners because, in addition to being more expensive than other companies for the same service, they also came with a horrible attitude that packed compassion and was downright rude. Alterations review: I had 5 long sleeve technical running shirts from miscellaneous half marathons that I wanted to get remade into short sleeve, since I wear short sleeve a lot more. Bit nervous about bringing these irreplaceable and hard-earned shirts in, technicals are a finicky thin fabric, but, Empire did a great job and returned the shirts back to me as I had hoped.
