SUPER local food truck and proud of it! I bookmarked their page a while back, and it's actually quite interesting. I'm not vegan or vegetarian in the least, but I've bought my lunch from them on more than one occasion. And it was good for that. Fortunately for me, I worked on campus, so when I got out of class, I'd make a short detour to where it was parked next to RAWL (one of their stops at the time), and pick up up something to eat. At that time, it tended to be the the grilled cheese and tater tots. Actually, it's hard for me to write anything about their food because they're so good about changing up their menu and having new things. They're really big on creativity and using local ingredients. For example, they got a boatload of millet sometime back and start asking around what people thought they should make from it to sell. Said webpage will also tell you their schedule, menus, and whatnot. Overall, it's typically American comfort food, but I've seen items with the occasional Mexican or Italian or Greek influence. Great prices, fun, and carefully thought out dishes. Prepare yourself to wait for a bit after ordering. Staff are super friendly and open about any questions you have about the food. In general, they tend to be very responsive about feedback and ideas you may have. Mostly though, VIEW THEIR WEBSITE (as provided above). They provide the menu for each event on Facebook, announce special events and where they're going to be on Twitter, and their website (emtfoodtruck.com) has a calendar summarizing where they'll be and what kind of weather that day will be having. Speaking as someone who had dropped by one day without realizing that it was going to rain? This is very convenient. Like a number of noteworthy local restaurants, there are a number of local food trucks that you'll find at pretty much every big local event (festivals and such). This is one of them. If they're in your area, I'd highly recommend you to try it at least once. read more

Not for us, I eat mostly vegan food and was expecting better flavor. The beyond burger was just ordinary and the Triole M was so dry. Was not able to eat it all. Flavorless. The Mac n cheese bites were amazing though! The fries we ordered were ok but it did not have any garlic-pepper seasoning. We actually went out to our car to get salt just to add some flavor to our food. Would try again but choose something else to try. read more

What a fabulous concept with great people. This truck is vegetarian and has vegan options. I had my first ever Beyond Burger! It way over exceeded my expectations. This dish was so good. The zucchini pickles made it pop! Try it with Secret Munchie sauce on the side. This was a special, but they should have it all year. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time and it was not even meat. Thanks to them for bringing it hard! The lemonade is also always delicious and the Mac bites are great too. Props to them for the concept, seasonal food, and delicious ideas. Can't wait for my next one! read more

In stark contrast to to the other food trucks that have been in our area lately. This one was fantastic. The food, which admittedly is comfort type food, was awesome. I had a mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich, g-fries, and the jalapeno poppers and the food was excellent. It was ready super quick. It was hot and cooked perfect. And the staff and service was really nice and courteous. In fact we liked the food so much we went back and got some more 45 minutes later. It was that good. I hope they come back to the area again real soon. read more

Delicious vegetarian/vegan food. I've tried their burgers & fries, chili, and so many specials. I've never been disappointed! A friend once tried their sandwich and did not believe it came from a food truck. They offer vegan cheeses/vegan dips; if you want a vegan option, just ask... they usually have many to choose from! I wish they had a permanent location, though. I miss the food through winter. read more

The EMT food truck is excellent! We've been there twice - once, when it was parked outside of People's. We had the mac and cheese nuggets and the pretzel sticks, and both were great. We returned when the truck was parked at Mosey Down Main Street, and our group all had sandwiches. All of the sandwiches they had that day were vegetarian - mine was a grilled mac and cheese sandwich, and everyone else had a black been burger with mac and cheese and buffalo sauce on top. Everything was amazing! The sandwiches have waffles as bread, which sounds weird, but is really good. They also had the option of regular or sweet potato fries (the sweet potato fries were awesome). The truck moves around town and is open for lunch and sometimes dinner - you have to go to their website to see where they will be. My only complaint is that they don't come to campus during the week. Since that's where I work, it's hard to get downtown or somewhere else during lunch time, and I am sure that is true for many Purdue employees. read more

Their food truck came to our area this evening. Wow, talk about great service and delicious food. I had the mac and cheese waffle sandwich and their G fries. Fresh, hot and very tasty. We also ordered some of their mac and cheese jalapeno poppers - wow. We ended up ordering more of the poppers about an hour later. Let me start off stating I am NOT vegan or vegetarian. What a surprise, found the truck on our first visit to People's Brewing and tried several items with my wife. We used to love the food trucks in Chicago and San Diego and really missed having the trucks when we moved back. We hired EMT Food Truck as one of two food trucks to cater our wedding this summer and are so glad we did! Amber was incredibly easy to work with throughout the process and very flexible on menu choices. The food was delicious and while we don't have a lot of friends or family that are vegetarians, most people didn't even realize that they were only serving vegetarian food. They also got food out quickly to our guests and were reasonable priced. I would without a doubt recommend EMT for a quick bite around Lafayette or for your next event. So good! We got food from them today at the West Lafayette Farmers Market. I had the GC&T (grilled cheese and tomato), which had the freshest, juiciest heirloom tomatoes ever. My husband had a black bean burger & fries, which he really liked. Both sandwiches came on delicious, crispy homemade waffles. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially for my sandwich which was only $5. I think most if not all of their food is vegetarian but its very appealing even to non-vegetarians like us. We will definitely be stalking them in the future! read more

I LOVE THIS FOOD TRUCK! I've ate their food at least a dozen times in the last few years and have never once been disappointed. The food truck is completely vegetarian with several vegan options as well. That being said however, I think even the most avid meat eater will find anything from this truck delicious and satisfying. Their fry dipping sauce is amazing, and I'll even dip my burger in it. This is definitely the best place (and one of the ONLY places) in town to get a veggie burger. The savory waffles they use as bread/buns may seem a little strange at first but once you eat them you'll never want a sandwich on regular bread again. This is comfort food at its best, I just can't say enough nice things about this food truck! I wish they weren't closed during the winter :( but it gives me one more thing to look forward to in the spring. read more

My friend and I stopped by for a quick lunch... Which wasn't that quick for a food truck. I ordered the Triple B burger with fries and my friend ordered the Gburger with chips. My burger was below average, soft waffles, pretty dry and lacking some crunch from a veggie or two. The 'secret sauce' that comes with the fries is NOT spicy so I recommend adding some Sriracha to it. My friends' burger was ok, she had trouble finishing it because it was so dense and bland. For the prices they charge, we had higher expectations. Also, bottled water for $1.50?! Puh-lease, this is Lafayette, Indiana. read more
