[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is SO cool and unlike anything I've ever experienced. The second you walk in you get a light up headband, there's live Renaissance music playing, and the decor is completely over the top fairytale vibes everywhere you look... even the bathrooms look like you're in an actual forest, which is insane.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were lucky enough to get one of the forest booths and it really feels like you're sitting inside an enchanted woodland.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely loved it and would go back in a heartbeat for the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For food and drinks -- the mead flight is so fun and I loved the honey flavor. The original mead was my favorite. The chicken pasty pie is a must -- get one for yourself, don't share it. Trust me. The fondue was a fun group experience but I honestly wouldn't recommend it for the food itself...the ingredients and sauces were below average and expensive for a group. Stick to the pies, sip your mead, soak up the ambiance, and have the best time!

The whimsical fairy-tale décor, twinkly lights, and storybook details make it feel timeless... like dining inside a fantasy novel![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the real surprise? The food is genuinely amazing. This isn't just a cute theme restaurant! the dishes are thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's the kind of place where the ambiance draws you in, but the quality of the food makes you want to come back again and again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also fantastic for kids. My toddlers were completely enchanted by the setting, and it's one of the few places where adults and kids can both feel delighted at the same time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]BUT somehow it's also the type of place you could sit at the bar and have the best girls night (with the complimentary sparkly flower crowns, of course)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was perfect, all the gals are delightful. If you're looking for a magical dining experience that's actually delicious, Enchanted Forest is absolutely worth the trip.

Definitely come for the experience. We did.... but the food is good, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some of the wait staff really got into the theme, wearing elf ears as we were served under a forest lit night scape with twinkling lights everywhere. We were also given colorful lit crowns as part of the fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very attentive and friendly, and had a nice conversation with us. They have themed drinks, which I typically do NOT enjoy, but the poison apple drink was perfect. Just enough bourbon and fruit flavors mixed...very good. The food was good...I simply chose wrong. The baked brie appetizer was very good, as were the various fruit compotes and chutneys to dip it in. The pasties, on the other hand....just tasted of bland meat mixed with fried spices in a puff pastry. Not very good. My wife's steak, however, was cooked perfectly, and she gulped down the shrimp. She already wants to come back, and that's saying something...besides limiting to 2 drinks. ;) Overall, a fun time, and I definitely will come back, but will probably change up my food choices

I've been meaning to try this place and finally got to go with my girlfriends for my birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very cute fairy forest theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was very friendly and attentive. The steak was super moist and delicious but the salmon was a little too sweet and the corned beef pasty was a little too dry. Overall, it was a great experience especially for birthdays bc they give out a piece of delicious chocolate cake with happy birthday written on the plate. We ordered the key lime pie with blackberry and that was really amazing. It's a place you have to try at least once for the experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food and fun experience at Enchanted Forest.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were given fairy light crowns to wear right away which were super cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the Prosciutto Bacon Wrapped Asparagus starter and Three Course Fondue. The Cheese Fondue with Gouda was tasty and complex. The Main Fondue with steak, shrimp, grilled chicken and meatballs was delicious, and the dark chocolate fondue dessert was perfect with the fruit but too sweet when paired with the cookies and treats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I highly recommend for the fun atmosphere and quality food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a gem and memorable experience for my family! Have kids? This is a one in a lifetime experience and would very highly recommend it at least once if you're able to (priorities first!). Magical ambience with lights twinkling in a forest enchantment environment. Biggest tip I can offer? Make a reservation ahead of time and don't settle for regular table seating - keep looking through each day and the multiple time slots for a seating at their magical table experiences. We were fortunate to sit at their Fun Nature Fort Booths. No difference in service or anything like that, it's just that you'll get to have booth side tables with a towering curved leafy vine above you with a warm lantern lighting your way.. through the forest.. of fairy time enchantment. And if your kids (or yourself) have a heightened imagination (or they just can't sit still), you'll be glad to have those booths. They give you magical crowns that light up! And yes, you get to keep them so don't throw them away or leave them behind. Service was fantastic, food was simply delicious and absolutely amazing, main dining room was a magical experience, and their bathrooms were quite a surprise! Pictures are worth a thousand words - aaaand I'll leave it at that. Drinks. Must try - Forest Flight of Meads where you get 5 flavors infused with deliciousness. Our favorite was Chai! Oh so good! But NOT a fan of the Apple flavored. Also had Fairytini and Lavendar Leprechaun - both of which helped us forget our toddlers for a moment. Food. Forest and Sea - hands down winner! Filet mignon (medium rare), scallops, and shrimp cooked to perfection. Popular order is the boneless braised beef short ribs - super soft, mouth savory, but just not my cup of tea. If you're into braised beef, though, then you're going to love it! If ever, would love to try their Irish gold miner's pasty pie.. looks like an entree for coming champions. Maybe grow a tuft of chest hair with each bite? Appetizers we had were Lobster Seafood Bisque soup (bowl) and Irish Whiskey Shrimp - both were top notch glory enchantments! Dessert. Blackberry key lime pie. Trust me on this. Each bite with a flavor explosion of blackberries and lime.. incredible! Parking. Good luck with this. I know there're time limitations but luckily no meter maid that day.. I don't think it's enforced much but just keep in mind there are time limits. Street parking if you're lucky, otherwise it might be a bit of a walk for ya. Highly recommended to try AT LEAST ONCE with your family and give the little ones a core memory they won't forget.

I have been wanting to try this place since seeing it on IG but it was quite a bit away so have been putting it off. We decided to suck it up and drive the 1.5hrs. First impression: very cute and cozy. I loved the greenery and wooded walls. A bit cramped once you go in and sit. Like I don't think they could add anything else. But the waiters can walk around and thats all that matters I guess. We got these cute floral headbands which I thought was fun. Our waitress was polite, took our orders quickly, told us about the specials and was attentive. The food was unfortunately not impressive. For apps we ordered lobster bisque and tapas. The soup we never received, the tapas they were out of one. The smoked salmon and goat cheese and apple were great! The prosciutto and fig was the one that was out and the baked brie we ordered 2 of. It was TERRIBLE. It tasted like raw feta (yuck!!) untoasted bread, some pickled something and idk what the white things were on it. Just bad. Nothing baked or brie about it. For entrees we had braised rib and one of the special pasty pies they had (steak and mushroom). My husband said the rib was mid. The steak and mushroom pasty was nothing special. Dessert was fluffy cheesecake and keylime pie. The cheesecake was great. Not overly sweet at all. Almost european in its taste of stronger cheese than sweetness. The key lime was very sweet tart and rich but good. All in all I enjoyed the aesthetic, the service was good, food came out quickly but the food was unfortunately not worth the drive/hype/price. Which sucks bc I feel like it started off good with apps and seemed promising. unfortunately the entrees were not great and that seems normal for these themed places. If I could give a 3.5 stars i would as that is more how I feel.

When we first learned about Enchanted Forest, we really wanted to check it our but regretfully it took their closing announcement to finally get us there. But good news, they aren't closing anymore! Enchanted Forest is a unique, charming experience with delicious food and excellent customer service. The restaurant is small but as you enter you are welcomed by fairies then further in emersed into the forest. We were able to get a Nature Fort Booth which seemed more magical than Under the Tree. The kids enjoyed the wooden and log designed cushions and lights on the table. The servers all have fairy ears and guests are given fairy lights which add to the experience. The menu is a bit short but there is something for everyone. My husband and I ordered the Irish Gold Miners Pie and Boneless Braised Beef Short Rib while the kids got the Three Course Experience with pizza and chicken on a stick. The presentation of the Irish Gold Miners Pie was pretty cool as it is topped with edible gold flakes. The outer crust was flaky and inside filled with corn beef and potatoes. My husband said it had good flavor and he was surprised by the large portion and how much filling was in the pie. The Braised Beef Short Rib was saucy, savory, tender and went really well with the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I could really taste the mead and garlic flavors in the beef. As for the kids' meals, they enjoyed their fresh fruit, the grilled chicken is just that; grilled chicken on a stick and pizza was just okay. The highlight of their meals was the mini fondue where they dipped fruits, marshmallows, and other treats in chocolate. A little pricey but the food is good and don't forget you are paying for an experience. The kids dressed as a wizard and fairy for extra fun. If you have littles, especially little who love fairies and magic, I recommend checking the Enchanted Forest out at least once.

I have been to enchanted forest several times and I've had an amazing experience every time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is really what makes this restaurant, when you arrive you are given light up flower crowns which really enhance the experience and match the ambient lighting in the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The waitresses are always dressed up in ren faire attire which also adds to the experience, when I came here for my birthday last year they even had someone playing live music which was really cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've had the baked brie before which is delicious and has the perfect amount of balance with the crackers and good portion size. The stuff portebello mushroom are my go to entree each time, the lentils mixed with the cheese and plant based Italian sausage is so delicious plus I love that it comes with carrots and a side salad. I also love getting the mead flight and had one last year when I went for my birthday for this recent trip with my boyfriend I got their peach mead and it was soooo good. I know mead is considered a sweeter alcohol but I really like it. And getting the flight to share with my friends last year in May was perfect! For desert at my recent visit my boyfriend and I tried their decadent triple chocolate cake, it was perfect it was light and fluffy and not super dense like most chocolate cakes are. Overall I highly recommend this place to come on a date night, celebrate your birthday or just to come to experience the enchanted forest!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and it was my first and ONLY time coming there. I will NEVER come back to this place . When we arrived, we were seated at the same time as another group. We ordered one of their vegan pizzas and their vegan eggplant lasagna. The food took OVER AN HOUR (WTF!!!!!!) to come to us, and when it finally did - the pizza had meat and cheese and the eggplant lasagna had cheese. Wtf?!?! Instead of sending the food back and potentially waiting another hour+ for food, we decided to leave and find food elsewhere because we were starving at that point. We told the waitress we would not be paying for that food since we literally waited over an hour and didn't even take a single bite of the food and she understood. But the worst part? When we left, we saw that the group who had been seated at the same time as us had already paid for their meal and left. Unbelievable!! Not only that, but SEVERAL groups who had come in AFTER us already had their food!!! Enchanted Forest, you lost my business forever. I wanted to love your restaurant so much because I loved the atmosphere and your employees were very kind. But your service was absolute garbage and I will NEVER come back. read more

Excellent place for a celebration! Delicious food, exceptionally friendly owner and staff, we felt like we were in a Lord of the Rings movie with live music and mead. I took my kids here last week for an end of the school year treat. We had a great time! The food was good, the service was awesome, and the setting was magical. I ordered the Full Fondue Experience because they had never had fondue before. They loved it. I can't wait to go back with the hubby and try some of the other menu items. I took my daughters here for dinner tonight and was blown away with the Enchanted Forest. Our server Sierra was wonderful! Super friendly and very efficient. The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere was adorable. We ordered the baked Brie appetizer.. holy jeebus. Do yourself a favor and try that! I had the filet for dinner and it was huge!!. Highly recommend stopping here on your way through town or for a weekly treat. read more

We were excited to try this place but we were sadly disappointed. The decorations were fun and our waitress was very nice but the food wasn't great and we felt forgotten most of the time. We made a reservation but got stuck squeezed in between the bar and the front window, right next to the front door- it was disappointing not to be able to experience the fun ambiance which was why we had come. We didn't see our Waitress for at least the first 15 minutes. It took a very long time for the food to come out. My husband ordered the filet (which arrived over cooked) while the rest of the table had the fondue experience which, while cutely displayed, was lack luster, the heating element was wobbly, and the wait between courses was long. The incredibly expensive check we received 3 hours after our experience had started rounded out our disappointing evening. read more

Our Sunday afternoon ritual is Enchanted Forest. The staff is fantastic. The ambience is unique, and the food and wine, beer, and meed selection is very unique to this type of venue. You will be hard-pressed to find Celtic foods like this in the area. Also, the fondues are very special. This is a great place for family and on most Thursday and Sunday evenings they have live entertainment of Celtic type music. read more

I've had The Enchanted Forest bookmarked for awhile and was finally able to give 'em a try. My lunch date and I dined in on a Tuesday and we were the only patrons inside the restaurant. The menu was limited with pies, salad, soup (which they were out of), and fondue. I inquired about another menu being available, which is only offered Thursday through Sunday. We ordered the Japan (Japanese curry, carrots, potatoes and caramelized onions) and Hippy (Carmelized balsamic onions, brown rice, portobello mushrooms, basil, sun dried tomato and a pesto sauce on the side) pies, which were tasty. With that being said, the $15 price tag is a lot for what was served. The plating is lackluster, especially on plastic, and another food item should automatically be paired with it. The inside is cute and we enjoyed the light up crown. I'd love to see real greenery incorporated versus all of the faux foliage. It's a cool concept, but there's definitely room for improvement. read more

1st time visiting, came for lunch... very impressed. Reserved for dinner. Dinner, very disappointing. Ordered Land & sea & chicken caprese. Chicken dinner spot on. Steak very disappointed. During covid we reserved outdoor seating. We wanted to order enchanted experience, but tables blow circuit breakers with fondue, so moved us inside. Ordered baked brie, expected classier crackers than triscuits. Only to find they couldn't accommodate us. So moved back outside. What started as a great experience for vegan/gluten-free healthy options, turned out not so great in the end. read more

We reserved a table "Beneath the Enchanted Tree" @ 7pm but was placed at the bar. Knowing this was going to be a busy night, Mother's Day, we didn't complain. We got our drinks in record time. Bartender was awesome. Never tried mead. My daughter ordered a flight so could try the many different flavors. Pretty good. Ordered baked Brie and it was delicious but came out 45 minutes later. Then dinner came out another 45 minutes later. I had the steak & lobster. Was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My youngest daughter had chicken caprese & my oldest daughter had braised beef short ribs. Both loved their dinners as well. The wait time wasn't too bad since the ambiance was amazing. The live singers/band was so much fun! You even get a lighted fairy headband. Would definitely go back again for a special occasion. read more

We live over and hour away and decided to go here for Mother's Day weekend. On our way driving up there they sent me a text message asking if we could change our reservation time because the people before us were running late. No big deal we could walk around and check out the stores. When we got there, we were seated immediately and the people were super friendly. It took us over an hour and a half to get our food. They brought out the kids food about 30 minutes before ours. This Left the kids with nothing to do while we ate. I had to ask someone else to bring us a refill on the drinks because our waitress didn't come back for about about 30 minutes (this was while we were still waiting for our food) Our waitress was super friendly and apologized. Food was ok. We were going to do the dessert fondue, but after waiting an hour and a half just to get a crêpe we decided to skip it and go somewhere else for dessert. It was a very long drive and borderline disappointing for the service. The atmosphere was cool. The kids had fun despite sitting there forever. We probably will not be returning. I'm not sure if this was just an off day for them because there's a lot of other good reviews, but for us it was NOT an enjoyable experience. read more

Wow....what a cool experience...ate here the first night in town...loved it so much we came back the next night...do the Mead Flight, its worth it...pizza was delicious and the Fondue was exceptional....the best servers out of all the restaurants we visited in Placerville for sure...they just seemed to be happy to do what they do....awesome...thanks for the experience.... read more

We traveled 4 hours to try Enchanted Forest after seeing it on the Food Network. We tried the Irish Gold Miners pie and it was amazing along with their service. Will definitely go back again and try other dishes. read more

I had always wanted to try this place out but always for got you had to make reservations. Finally a friend told me they wanted to try it out, we made reservations which was an easy process. We came in and were seated at a cute little light up table. The staff was very friendly. They gave us each light up flower crowns that we could take home, which was a very cute touch. The food was very good, we started off with the Brie cheese and crackers, the had main course fondue and dessert. The live music was so lovely. We had a great time, good atmosphere. Our waitress was named Hayley (I hope I spelled it right) she made our experience wonderful. She was very kind and gave great recommendations, she was also very helpful as one of us had a good allergy, something we really appreciated. The only complaint I had was that one of the waiters seemed to be upset that we hadn't left yet, it started to get busy and I guess the next reservation had arrived for our spot. We really weren't there that long and had been waiting a little for our dessert so it wasn't as though we were taking a long time to eat. It was very off putting to have him speak loudly by our table to the other guests that after we left they could sit at the table. It made us feel rushed so we didn't finish our dessert. I feel like it could have been handled differently, as we were having a great night and it was only two of us. Overall we had a great experience and will be coming back! The woman who helped us online was incredible, I am disabled and unable to dine in person, she made it possible to order exactly what I wanted for my husband to pick up for me. It was cheese fondue with all the fixings. She packed it all up beautifully. The fondue was delicious and the veggies were crisp and fresh. The whole dinner was delightful and I was so appreciative. Made reservations here for our Anniversary drove a hour up to get here the Owner said she would put us in a romantic area wow they put us next to the bathrooms how rude that's not romantic at all then when we asked to be moved the server was rude about it after driving from afar they wouldn't accommodate us I been waiting to come to this place and this Wow I will Not return seems to me he acted a little racist I don't recommend this place at all. read more

When we asked in we did not get greeted by the bartenders, which would have been nice, and one server walked by and said hi but didn't offer any info on them getting to us in a minute. However; we were helped and served by Tyler who was absolutely amazing. He was friendly and helpful and got our drinks to us with recommendations and was generally just awesome. We will definitely be going back as Tyler quite made up for the other staffs shortcomings. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking Placerville Main Street shops. What a great find! This will now be a "must stop" on our trips up Highway 50. It will also be a destination lunch, when we feel like getting out of Sacramento. Menu is great. We shared a Baked Brie, Cornish pie, and a flight of Mead. The Brie was delicious. Baked in phyllo. It was plenty big to share. Our Cornish pie was the BBQ choice. It was served on mashed potatoes (potatoes had melted Swiss cheese on them, I was leery, but it was really yummy), a large side salad, and roasted veggies. This was a lot of food. All of it made perfectly. Dessert: Jack Daniels pecan pie with a side of caramel sauce. Heaven! Enough said. The atmosphere is very neat. I think kids would love it here. Plants (fake I think) hanging from the ceiling and on all the posts. Notes of encouragement left stuck into the rock walls. It was fun! Plus, they are very covid serious. All tables partitioned with plastic. Also available is dining outside on Main Street. Note to the owner: the staff on November 15, 2020. At lunch time. They did you and your restaurant proud! We were seated by a female with short hair and elf ears on her mask. Our waitress had long brown hair. Both were very polite and super efficient. The ambiance and decorations are top notch. We've been a few times. On our last visit, I splurged and ordered the filet mignon. It was a terrible cut of meat with a big chunk of fat and it was really tough. I decided to speak up (I normally do not), and I was given excuses about how the meat is precut, etc. I didn't say much while the server talked, and she finally asked if she could get me something else. At this point it was the first time she had been to our table since the food was delivered (easily 30 minutes had passed), so I had eaten the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I said no thank you to something else. I was being very nice, and I said that I realized I had eaten the two side dishes, so I wasn't expecting a free meal, and she said she'd be back. She returned and offered me 20% off. I appreciated the discount, but I still didn't feel great about the interaction. read more

I was scrolling through Facebook the other day and I had seen a photo of some friends of mine enjoying some fondue at the Enchanted Forest. I about lost my mind. I looove fondue! I never really got to have it often because the closest fondue restaurants were I. Downtown sac and Grass Valley. My husband and I decided to check it out. We walked in and much to our surprise it looked enchanted! It was like stepping into an enchanted forest literally! We sat down at the bar and the gentleman tending the bar was very attentive! His name is Bobbie. It's not very often you find an experienced mixer! He made me a special drink from mead yes I said it they have MEAD! It is good mead too! Anyway the drink was fantastic! They also had my favorite wine! There was also another wait staff and her name is Jen. We thought she had worked there a while because she answered all of our questions and she was making sure we had everything we need. Come to find out Jen had just started working just the other day!!!! After we got settled and drinks starting to flow we ordered the fondue and it came as a 4 coarse meal. We started with a salad that had a delicious honey mustard dressing. Then we get the cheese fondue served with veggies and apples. Next was the chicken broth where you cook your meat in the chicken broth. The meats we chose were chicken, filet, shrimp and meatballs. All were fantastic! Then the chocolate fondue came! I about died! For the dippers were nutter butters, Oreos, strawberries, Rice Krispie treats, marshmallows and some other little cookie with a raspberry filling. The owner of the place came around and crowned everyone with a flower wreath that lights up. She made you feel special and very welcome. She talked she cheersed and seemed like a very fun person to be around. My husband and I vowed to come back once a month!!!!!! read more

FREE SERVING OF COVID-19! I can understand an off night (reservations, out of food, slow service, etc.) But I can't forgive blatant disregard for health, especially during the Covid outbreak. Bar had 8 people being served ("friends of the bartender" made it ok.) Endangering nearby people and tables. Worst was the lack of sanitizer between guests at tables and menus. Whoever greasy fingers ate before me (all over the table) now exposed me to any illness they had. They FAKE sanitizing by laying a dry cloth over a red bucket. Tables remain dirty and greasy after wiping, and same dry cloth used over and over. Food safety certificate and food handler cards worthless here! read more

Such a cool dining experience! The decor is so fun and there are so many extra touches. The waitress brought us these fun, light up crowns after ordering. 2 different pizzas were ordered at our table and they were both very good. The chocolate flourless cake was so good! We were given a card for a free bracelet and 10% off the owners store next door, which was filled with awesome crystal stuff. I had the mead sampler (never had mead) and it was really good. My family went here recently and it was totally worth the 2.5 hour drive to get there. It looks like a forest inside and we got to sit under one of the trees. They had live Irish music that night which was really cool! The food was so good- I had a stuffed mushroom and no lie it was the best stuffed mushroom ever! I wish I could have eaten 10 more- lol. My daughter is so picky and she loved her pizza. My boyfriend is picky as well and he loved the braised beef. Buffy, Rachel and Sierra were so super nice. Meet the Business Owner: Kaitlyn K.

As a child I would spend my days playing in the deep forests and became connected to the magical delights of nature. After a trip to Ireland I felt a heart connection to this beautiful country and it’s kind hearted cheerful people, I wanted to bring the feeling of not only a trip to Ireland to my town of Placerville but I also wanted to create what feels like a journey back in time to a realm of old world celtic magic. A place you can leave all your modern troubles behind and join others in an Irish experience of good times, good conversations, great drinks, live irish music and real hand made food that leaves you feeling not only nourished but high in life! It’s a place you can come meet other down to earth jolly folks who also cherish the joys of life.

Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. After being sat, we sat without talking to a server for 10+ minutes, not even getting waters. Eventually, when someone did come, it was a waitress/hostess telling us that there had been a mix up, and we needed to move. We weren't excited on the idea, as we were happy where we were, but we moved to the back of the restaurant. This time we sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any wait staff. At this point it is 9:25 and we've been seated for 25 minutes without even water. Finally a waitress comes, and takes our drink order, and our food order as we'd definitely had ample time to look over the menu. About 9:50 the food arrives. My wife and kids' food comes and is great. My food comes and looks off, and the waitress tells me that the kitchen accidentally made me a "veggie" scramble instead of the chorizo that I had ordered, but that she'd get me some bacon and all was well. I asked what was in the veggie scramble and was told it has mushrooms, which is a hard pass for me. She told me she could have what I had actually ordered made but it would "take a long time". I said O.K. - what else was I going to do? Finally it comes, and my wife is done eating, and the kids are close, so, I asked for it to be "boxed up". The waitress rolled her eyes and set to the task. I'm not a restaurant snob - but I really expected an apology or something to be "comp'd" due to the rough experience, but nope, full bill and no apology. Regrettably, despite Franny's being a local joint and having good food, we won't be back.

Making sure that issues are handled. The restaurant was busy and the drinks took about 20 minutes to come out. When we ordered we were informed that the prime rib special was sold out. Ok. I get it. So the $66 dollar Rib Eye over the $51 Prime Rib. But then the steaks came out. The others in our group got perfectly cooked rib eyes that were 40-60% cap. They were cooked perfectly to temp. My steak was much smaller, thicker, and entirely lacked the cap. So it was just a NY Strip. The temperature was way over. I was never asked if the dish was ok. Our server was busy and never returned to check on us. The busser came by and asked very quickly if everything was "still" ok. We ate our meal while it was still warm. The busser returned and started to clear the plates, including taking a side dish before we were done with it. When I informed the server of my issue he didn't seem to agree with me. He claimed he came and asked us. Later the manager came and told me he took 20% off the steak. $52 for an overcooked 14 oz NY Steak isn't terrible, but that isn't what I was looking for.

I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.

UPDATE: The owner of this establishment needs to get a grip. 1.Was not at your establishment with a family and never spoke with you once. 2.Your server literally told us that the chef THREW your last BBQ Chicken pie at her. THREW IT AT HER. Maybe you should check on your staff instead of doing a piss poor job of trying to defend bad reviews. 3.When you make a reservation at an establishment, that establishment should be able to sit you within 15 minutes of arrival. We waited for an hour. And we were told by your host that our waitress might have been on drugs...not once but twice she said this. WTF? 4. Sorry but your chefs are idiots and are clearly lying to you. Tried ordering chicken caperese was told no. Tried ordering shepherds pie, no. Mashed potatoes which comes with the pies! Again no, We were served roasted potatoes. I then tried ordering 2 orders of roasted potatoes to go. Again, no! 5. Not to mention the fondue was AWFUL. You get a bowl of shredded cheese and have to wait 20 minutes for the assortment of fruits, bread, etc. To spend over $100 on that "fondue" was a joke. 6. Instead of sitting at the bar, drinking and shooting the shit spend time on the floor making sure your restaurant is running smoothly. Again, WILL NOT BE BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Went here last night and while the atmosphere is fun, the experience was not.... Had to wait almost an hour for a table we'd made a reservation for. Hot plate at the table was on when we sat down, almost burning ourselves. Spent over $100 on fondue only to wait 20 minutes for our veggies, bread, etc. while our cheese sat on the table and burned... Tried to order multiple things off the menu (which mind you is not that large) only to be told they didn't have it. Like I'm talking EVERYTHING. Mashed potatoes? No. Grilled chicken? No. Roasted potatoes? No. Any form of pasty pie they offer? No. We were in the middle of dinner and staff started stacking chairs around us?? Cute place and our waitress was great! Last week, we had a spellbinding night at Enchanted Forest Dining Experience, celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. The restaurant's fairy tale ambiance, complete with whimsical decor and complimentary light-up flower crowns, set the stage for a truly memorable evening. Our culinary journey began with the Tapas Baguettes. For $16, we got four delectable varieties, each scoring a perfect 10/10. From smoked salmon with green goddess herb dressing to brie with apricot jam, each combination was a delightful treat. For our mains, we had a mix of the Savory Pasty Pie and Chicken Caprese. These dishes were tasty but a bit lacking in flavor, earning a solid 8/10. My Creamy Vegetable Pie was comforting, and the Chicken Pie and Chicken Caprese were well-executed, albeit needing a touch more pizzazz. A special shoutout to the mango mead - it was a sensational and exotic addition to our meal! What made the night truly special was the exceptional service. The servers went above and beyond, surprising my mother-in-law with a complimentary slice of birthday cake and a cheerful birthday song performed by the band. The service was attentive, warm, and truly made us feel celebrated. The live Irish music by Anam Cara perfectly complemented the enchanting atmosphere, adding to the uniqueness of our experience. Overall, despite the main dishes being good but not extraordinary, the magical atmosphere, superb appetizers, the delicious mango mead, and the outstanding service made our visit to Enchanted Forest Dining Experience unforgettable. I had been hearing about this restaurant and the very unique decor for a little while now, so I decided to try it out. Both of my children are vegetarian, so it's always nice to find anything in this area with a menu selection that actually has options for them. So I decided to go check it out first before bringing my boys to eat. Upon entering, the unique decor definitely caught my attention, kind of made me think rain forest cafe meets Ireland. Immediately I was greeted by a very friendly, super cute waitress who seated me, got me a drink and offered some recommendations on what I should try. I hadn't planned on eating pizza, but based on Jennifer's ( The waitress) advice I went with the pizza, and was damn glad I did. The pizza was on point, thin crust, super crunchy, the meat on it ( i myself am not a vegetarian ) was amazing! Our Christmas dining experience at Enchanted Forest last night was subpar. We had ordered three meals, but initially received only two, with the third dish misdirected to another table. Following a 20-minute delay, the third meal arrived; however, two of us had finished eating, leaving one person to dine alone. Despite the server's efforts to rectify the situation with a complimentary dessert, the overall quality of the food was disappointing, being both flavorless and lukewarm. Notably, this experience starkly contrasted with our previous visit the prior year, which had established high standards. Regrettably, this underwhelming encounter has discouraged us from planning a return visit. The restaurant itself is unlike anything I've ever experienced, a truly unique and strange (in a good way!) dining concept. For those who might be interested, be prepared for a full-on forest immersion. While the decor is undeniably creative, it might be a bit overwhelming for some. I found it a touch distracting and even slightly intimidating at first. Moving on to the food, however, that deserves a solid 3 stars. The dishes were tasty and well-prepared. We recently visited Enchanted Forest with friends and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. First, we were charged a corkage fee for bringing our own wine, but our server was unable to open the bottle -- my husband ended up doing it himself. The restaurant was also extremely hot and stuffy, which made it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy the evening. Lastly, we ordered the fondue expecting a classic cheese dish, but instead received a bowl of what tasted like vegetable broth. The fondue plate was not only expensive but also very bland. We ordered the braised short ribs, what we recieved was a blandly seasoned and over cooked chuck roast for $55. We asked the server where the ribs are and she said they always remove the bone. I cook chuck roast and short ribs, they served chuck roast and try to pass it off as short ribs. For sides, we received two carrots, two Brussel sprouts and a scoop of lumpy mashed potatoes . It was a total rip off. I dont recommend this place and will never return. Atmosphere is cool, service is average, food is terrible, at least what I ordered. Wonderful options for vegan and gluten free foodies. I recommend the vegan tempeh crepe. The crepe seemed freshly made and and nice light flavor to it while the tempeh had a zesty smoky flavor. My guest had a savory mustard chicken crepe. The decor makes you feel that you are in Enchanted forest with festive Irish music playing. Avoid if you want clean food. But if you are fine with eating old microwaved mysterious wretched slop with no taste... in the dark... then you will fit in just fine. If you want unique entertainment this place offers amazing music performed by Celtic duo twins where you're transported to another festive merry period of joy. The led crowns are also fun.
