We saw this place and just pulled over for a bite to eat and of course a beer. Super casual local spot. Food wasn't that bad. We split a patty melt with cheese (we asked for bacon but they forgot it was still good). The Parmesan garlic fries were ok. The staple buffalo wings were cool. Taylor our waitress was fun, we shared stories about our fur babies (her babies name is Bandit). She convinced my husband to try the 80 beers in 80 days challenge, easily accepted. Super chill spot, we will be back.

Family was in town and I saw they are closing next year. It was a busy night so we sat outside. The server was super nice and friendly. It was cold and there are no heat lamp outside. There is inside seating but no tables were available. It sounded like it was a busy night so things moved a little slow. We ordered the hot mess fries and the New Zealand burger and both were great! The fries were unique and had a little kick to it, the burger was juicy and delicious! We had a good time, bummer it will be gone due to lease.

The guava hard spritzer was Delicious.

My girlfriend and I were walking around in the local fair and got hungry so we chose this place. Looked nice and friendly. Sarah the cute bartender was so sweet and friendly. We ordered a vegetarian burger and onion rings. DELICIOUS!!!! We also had a hard seltzer, that Sarah recommended and it was delicious too. Now I know where to come and have a great meal and a nice drink and Encinitas. This is a must! Sara needs a raise. She gave excellent customer service.

It had a lot more stuff on it I just took the verifies out.

Best Burgers hands down!!! Need to upgrade to steak fries! Grilled chicken was good as well. Lava cake however was ok since no lava chocolate inside. I would come back for the burgers anytime!!

Absolutely unbelievable Bootleg burger... I would rather eat here than any place I could think of in Encinitas.... always stoked to have the Bootleg burger!!! ...Top it off with some Delirium beer and you have arrived in heaven.

They had, I think it was the special of the day, a ribeye burger and it was delicious. The burgers came in a very good size and the bread is made in house. It's a cool place and you can watch the games. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The bartender was nice.

This tiny spot makes me so so happy! A fantastic specialty beer list with great draft options and also hundreds of bottles of Belgian delights. It was so fun picking different ones to try. Then add in the delicious burgers (the spicy one was our favorite, but the kobe beef was also great), and it makes for an excellent night.

GREAT, out of this world, selection of craft beers!!! On draft and bottles. If you love craft beers, you'd die happy here. The food is also very tasty and they soak up the beers well

BIERGARDEN @ ENCINITAS…read more Parking can be a little difficult since this spot is located right on the main strip in Encinitas. There's parallel street parking throughout the area, so you might get lucky and find a spot nearby. I ended up parking on one of the side streets, which worked out perfectly. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was definitely busy. We had to wait a little while for a table because several tables still needed to be cleaned before they could seat new guests. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and we were seated as soon as they could. It did take about 15 minutes before a server was able to come over and take our order, but the restaurant was completely packed, so it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. It was really good and definitely on the stronger side, which I appreciated. My only complaint was that there was a bit too much ice, but the flavor itself was great. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, large open windows that let in plenty of fresh air, and a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to relax after a beach day. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and cocktails, just be prepared for a little wait if you visit during peak hours.

I wonder if this is a location on eBird. Yes, I am a dork. I came here years ago while on a business trip and randomly found this place and loved it here. So when a date suggested we come here, I took a look at the venue and remembered what an awesome brewery this is! Date gets some brownie points for chosing this spot, maybe this could go somewhere haha. Parking is a situation here. But if you go past the restaurant, there is some parking on the road and in small lot meant for those enjoying nature. I felt bad taking one of these spots. There is paid public parking on the corner before the restaurant and valet is available at this brewery. I need to figure out another way to get here... On a Sunday afternoon, place had people but it wasnt mobbed. Baseball game and Del Mar horse races were showing on the TVs. But, don't come here to watch TV, look outside! I saw some very good bird action, including an egret doing some weird strutting in the lush greenery. I am bummed I forgot to bring my binoculars but I will be back here again soon with binocs ready! I started off with a hefeweisen and that was good, date had a Mexican lager x 2. I had the ceviche (pretty good) and had the aioli on the side. Date had a sandwich of some kind and copious amounts of fries. It took a lot of will power for me to not have any of those fries, they looked so yummy! I also had a watermelon beer, this had hints of watermelon flavor and I enjoyed it. Great spot for large groups too as there were a few large parties sitting in the "outside" space. Hostess initially asked if we wanted to sit "inside" or "outside," and I was confused as it all looked like outside to me haha. I guess this is SoCal, everything is open air. This is a nice spot to have convo, very spacious, lots of nice tables, we sat at a high top. I love perching higher up, kinda of like a bird haha! Waitresses here were all very good, some very cute too (eye candy is always appreciated). Overall, a really fun way to spend a Sunday summer afternoon! I'll be back!

The restaurant is really loud when crowded and you can only talk to the person right next to you, but that worked ok in a group of 7 anyway--we just had multiple mini conversations. If you're planning a large group gathering, you might have to play musical chairs to catch up with everyone, unless everyone has naturally loud voices that carry. Most of the people in our group ordered beers, but I ordered a nonalcoholic prickly pear hibiscus ginger beer which was ok--pretty subtle, but it quenches the thirst all the same. I ordered the Farmer's burger (black bean) with added avocado and a side salad which comes with a lemon vinaigrette. I had to eat it with a knife and fork after removing the top bun. Very tasty. My daughter ordered crispy shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed. Most people ordered the backyard burger which looked pretty good--choice of fries or side salad. Freddy our server was friendly and helpful. Overall a good dining experience!
