I don't understand all these positive reviews. I'm sorry and I really want to like this place the way I did when it first opened, but the pizza is small, cold and overpriced. Not tasty at all and the tiny amount of cheese isn't even melted. The other day I had no choice but to eat here because the bistro was closed for lunch on Sunday and the Inn was absolutely packed. Once again, I got a $22 meager bland, tasteless lump of slightly wilted greens, with some mealy, soggy tomatoes. I just don't get it. Also sitting at those horrible uncomfortable wobbly wood tables is just so unpleasant. Maybe I'm just not cool enough to enjoy this place but I truly do not ever want to go here again. read more

Best pizza I've had in a long, long time!! Canadian bacon, artichoke hearts and black olives, who thought up that blend of deliciousness?! We also had the salad with cauliflower and roasted pinenuts and a light vinaigrette dressing. The restaurant itself is very interesting inside; it is a record store, where you will find them spinning vinyl on any given visit. There is an outside patio with heated seating. Took my grandson here as a treat to end an awesome beach day. Passionately in love with Topanga, have eaten everywhere but here, & we were excited. Indoors was bright & clean, late afternoon, not many people. Ordered & paid in advance & went outside to sit. Wifi was random, no bathroom, minimal staff, tables uncleared. And the food? This is a wonderful restaurant. The salads are delicious and so fresh, the wood fire pizzas delicious with lots of great choices, I ate the Branzino yummy, desserts were great as well. The $10 watermelon cooler type drink tasted good and would have been worth it at a third of the price, tasting similar to a good Mexican aqua sandia. Came here with my girlfriends yesterday and enjoyed a nice lunch outside. We were worried we might have to eat in the car, but a table had just cleared when we ordered. The inside seemed very hip and I really like the vibe of the restaurant. Went for a drive and ended up here. It's cozy and has lots of personality and good music. We ordered house marinated olives, pepperoni pizza, beet salad with goat cheese and couldn't pass up on a side of fries. They were the tiny shoestring kind, hot and crispy. This place is a wonderful gem. I feel in love with Topanga Canyon this year and had already tried cafe on 27 so wanted to try something different. A local recommended I get the pizza here and I saw it all over TikTok. The place was really cute and unique but the amount of flies circling in was unexpected-- maybe because of the summer heat. The server was sweet and friendly. She smiled a lot and just seemed very genuine. The pizza was great, just wish it was bigger for what the price is but the server did tell me it was small. Such a cute restaurant with a great boho vibe. I love the records, the pink tables with vases filled with fresh flowers, the patio surrounded with hanging plants and disco balls, great music (even live music on certain nights), and friendly staff who wear cool vintage clothing. The pizza and salads are excellent and although I'm a cocktail girl vs wine/beer, they have created some great cocktails with their unique wine liquors! I love that I can come here for a grown up date night, or come with my kids... or even my dog. The vibe is super cool either way, and I like the people I'm surrounded by when I'm here. Definitely a "California Locals" spot. Did I mention the drive to get here? The canyon is gorgeous and I recommend timing it so you are driving through the canyon at sunset. The cook was very off tonight. (12/10/23) In hopes of the owner reading this as I didn't want to disturb him sitting at the table outside. I only write this because I love this place and it would be a travesty if the owner isn't aware or didn't notice and it wasn't corrected. I ordered the Pomodoro (burrata) pizza first and their was little sauce and worst of all it was almost cold, the burrata was extra cold so didn't help with the already cold pizza - usually the contrast of temperature is what makes the pizza magical. Because I was extraordinarily disappointed and dissatisfied, and too tired to complain, I ordered the Margherita pizza thinking maybe the first one was just a bad overlooked pizza job. However the 2nd pizza was horrific, lack of sauce. I only ordered that one thinking, "this one requires lots of sauce because that's what makes this one". But It lacked sauce, like it was smeared on super fast, and a few tomatoes were actually cold inside- usually they are warm/hot and explode with juice. The most disappointing about this was that I wanted to fill up on my pizza craving since I will travel to asia for holiday and they won't have pizza as good as this place usually is. I was terribly disappointed that I paid for a second pizza hoping it was better than the first bad experience and it was worse. I'm not one to hold back a legitimate complaint but I'm also considerate (and tired) so I didn't want to disturb the owner who was probably the only person who can refund me my second pizza which I really contemplated sending back. I still recommend this place because at its worst it was as good as good pizza places but at its best, it's better than some places in Italy. What I really didn't like is the over charge on my bill that I had to dispute with my bank because the manager could not figure out how to correct it. Service was not the friendliest for a canyon restaurant. Its and up and down kinda thing to get the bare essentials, napkins cheese pepper etc. which at a 15% tip you expect better. Flintstone-esque would be my description of the decor. The pizza is divine. Not overly saucey and thin crusted, which is my personal preference. It is a far cry from the days of Rocco's. The canyon is transforming, and this is indicative. It's cute, thought out, kitschy almost. Not the country dining room of Roccos. Drinks aren't cheap but worth it. The outdoor dining area is comfortable and a huge improvement from the past. Good bye plastic white lawn chairs! Ha! I love the Bougainvillea plants and the ample seating. It's well lit, popular, and a very pizza centric menu. We did order the one salad which was excellent! Heavy on the cheese with nice fresh greens. We also ordered the chocolate chip cookie which was equally divine. So far, we've done carry out & dine in. The same pizza each time (: my husband has specific taste: the anchovy with prosciutto. It's truly an excellent pizza place but be prepared for higher end pricing. They do offer wine by the bottle and have a solid beer selection on tap. The people working here are awesome. I've only encountered men and they were all attentive, hustling and helpful. Also, totally dig the Avant grade play list. For sure goes with the unique spot. Keep up the great pizza! A definite revisit for me when I find myself in the Malibu area. My partner and I needed a quick solution to the question "where should we go for dinner?" and Endless Color stood out on the "food near me" Google search and reviews on the car ride away from the beach. Not knowing the layout of LA, the ride through the canyon was a great experience of its own, and pulling off the road to a hip pizza place / coffee shop / record store was just the ideal situation for me. My partner kept referring to it as a "Victoria place" to friends and family after the trip, knowing that the ambiance and overall structure of the establishment was something I was into. For food, the two of us split a bottle of orange wine, a pizza, beet salad, and truffle fries. All of it got eaten with nothing left behind. Hopefully we can return to LA and to the canyon in warmer weather for another go :-) read more

This place is a scam. I paid $18 for a chicken cutlet cut into 5 PIECES. The chicken wasn't even seasoned. I went and asked for salt and pepper and they said they didn't have pepper. What restaurant doesn't have a pepper shaker? My jaw dropped when I got my plate. My friends paid $20 each for a small burger with a "side salad" that was a small pile of kale with a few drops of dressing. You can tell the workers are aware of how horrible their portions and food is. Absolute shambles of a restaurant, don't come here. Wish I took a picture of my food, you actually wouldn't believe it I was so upset with my experience I downloaded yelp to leave this review after the first bite.
